No elevator so we had to carry heavy luggage up the stairs.
Great location, breakfast included, quiet
great proximity to the action
The hotel is in an excellent location
We would've preferred to be in the main hotel rather than an annexe
a small dreary room not as represented by the hotel. The premium king room had two queen beds and hotel was overbooked
Very quiet yet close to all activities
The inn was very clean and it was very quiet. The breakfast area was very nice and offered a nice selection of pastries and cereal. You could also get waffles which were nice.
It just needs some updating but other than that it was great.
Excellent breakfast. Kindness of the staff. Charming village.
room were very dark
Hotel very handy for the town and staff very helpful.Room was comfortable and clean
The King's Port Inn was a convenient place for us to stay whilst we explored Kennebunkport - we were easily able to walk into the town for a meal in the evening.
It was very convenient to shopping, dining, whale watching, and other events. We were able to walk to almost everything. The continental breakfast was a little "better" than just continental, offering hot waffles as well as bagels, muffins, cereal, and fruit.
We had a double queen room which was great except that the bathroom was very, very small. It appeared they gave up bathroom space to put in 2 queen size beds.
Friendliness of staff. Comfortable common spaces (breakfast room, lobby). Excellent breakfast (included in room price).
Coastal Maine is one of the great wonders of the East Coast of the United States. The water is a deep blue and going out on a boat is a great way to spend an afternoon, especially if you enjoy catching lobster. When it comes to being out in nature, few places on the eastern seaboard match Maine’s natural beauty, and that’s why the Kings Port Inn in Kennebunkport is a destination for all travelers.
Unlike most traditional hotels, the Kings Port Inn looks like a large house and in many ways has that small-town function of a home. The staff takes pride in getting to know its guests and providing outstanding service. Rooms are comfortable and the views of natural Maine are unmatched. Watching the waves crash against the jagged coastal rocks is something out of a novel, and out the window.
With beautifully appointed rooms, guests will stay in comfort. After a day of being out on the water or strolling through the beautiful town, the rooms are perfect to relax in. The plush beds along with the quaint décor are exactly what one expects of a New England bed and breakfast.
As for dining, there are many options in Kennebunkport. The town is known for its tourist-friendly atmosphere, so it’s easy to find dining options for any type of palette. There are fine dining options along with casual fare, so it’s easy for travelers to get what they love to eat.
When looking for a refreshing vacation, there are few options that top the Kings Port Inn in Kennebunkport, ME.
