Cons: "They had to reset entertainment sets 3 times before they started working. This happens regularly on the SFO to BOS jetblue flight."
Cons: "We had a delay of 3 hrs which kept us waiting in the middle of the night"
Pros: "There was actual room for my legs."
Cons: "There could have been more legroom so that you could actually get out without almost sitting in someone else's lap. But it was easier than my last flight (on American Airlines). Having a meal available would have been nice on a flight of almost 6 hours."
Cons: "Entertainment screen in our section of the plane were not functioning correctly. The crew made several attempts to reset the screens but it didn't work,"
Pros: "Great crew and service"
Cons: "The delay was longgg but I know that couldn’t be avoided"
Pros: "Brian at the desk in ft Lauderdale was fabulous great personality pleasant smile just delightful"
Cons: "It was 30+ mins late and they didn’t keep us updated. Missed my connection"
Pros: "Crew was great. Delayed by mechanical issue. Weather was bad in Montreal so delayed again. Mechanical issue is a pain but I'd rather not crash so all in all very good. Really windy at landing, pilots did a great job. Respect!"
Cons: "Just a heads up, if you're a large person, weight wise, you may have a challenge using the rest room. It's pretty small."
Pros: "The crew was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were in business class and appreciated the use of the Clubroom Lounge at Gatwick airport, (although none of the ground people told us about it, we happened to ask on our own.)"
Cons: "Baggage check in was a hassle. Too automated."
Cons: "The gate in Calgary took approximately 45 minutes to allow off the plane . We arrived early but by the time we were able to leave the plane , boarding for our next flight had already begun. We had to go through customs and other planes from the US had similar problems. Therefore many were delayed."
Pros: "The crew was amazing. The seats were comfortable."
Cons: "The thermal control in the waiting area of the pearson airport before boarding was uncomfortable."
Pros: "Could not tap opinion on previous page. Good trip. Good service. Good legroom which was covered."
Cons: "Food prices."
Cons: "Had seat that didn’t recline and not in an exit row. My fault for not changing"
Pros: "Crew"
Cons: "I asked for special Assistance and No records of it"
Pros: "All was on time so did not have to deal with Kayak with any problems"
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "Originally: a low fare"
Cons: "Flight oversold, travelers bumped. Flight delayed while they kicked people off the flight."
Pros: "Crew was amazing with my baby. Overall a very good flight."
Pros: "The crew was friendly and helpful. Also enjoyed the legroom."
Pros: "Flight was good!"
Cons: "Especially international flights do not price basic fares, who travels from USA to Canada without clothes and then you end up charging $39 each way. It’s just totally a scheme. It’s a shameful practice and only spirit airlines and you do this. You guys were one of my favorite but now you are last"
Pros: "Porter airlines is efficient and the customer service is the best I have experienced."
Cons: "I miss the free amenities that they used to offer at the Billy Bishop airport, but the newly renovated airport is nice!"
Cons: "Heads up to US citizens coming in from Canada: customs took 45 minutes, on a week day morning when there were very few of us."
Pros: "Good airline for going. Out of the country and direct flight from Boston"
Cons: "Inflight entertainment"
Pros: "Quick check in and security. Good choice of on board service."
Cons: "The new US$35/direction checked bag fee is much higher than other airlines on the route, and makes porter the more expensive option. Some of the amenities at ytz (free coffee and drinks) are now gone."
Cons: "Justfly.com is awful and I wish kayak would stop sending customers to it. I will no longer use kayak because this is the second time my ticket has ended up being purchased through justfly."
Cons: "Weather delays were compounded by Porter's incompetence at plane maintenance (plane was too hot when it finally arrived), crew scheduling (and then crew timed out) and finally boarding, which was a nightmare as attendants sent irate passengers who had been waiting in an overcrowded lounge for hours back and forth between podium and counter unnecessarily while ignoring protests and the fact that contradictory directions were being given. As a result, I missed my flight to a critical business event - this could have been avoided if Porter was prepared for bad weather on the East Coast (a fairly frequent occurrence) and had good contingency plans in place and customer service reps who actually knew what they were doing and how to respond to changing circumstances and customer frustration."

The flight was too short for food and the snack was average.

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "The flight was cancelled. Ground staff at Montreal were far from helpful. They kept saying “Call customer service.” and never offered any help/assistance for rebooking and finding a hotel room."
Pros: "Short of the entertainment system incident, the service was pleasant. It was nice to NOT be on a full flight and have both seats to myself."
Cons: "Entertainment system was not working, and crew was fairly nonchalant about it. In the past they at least apologized and on the better end gave out drink vouchers. Not this time."
Cons: "Delayed over an hour then cancelled last minute, rebooked on a flight the next day that didn't leave until noon, had to call into reservations to get on an earlier flight on another airline"
Pros: "The connecting flight was with air Canada. In general the flight was fine. Landed on a Saturday afternoon."
Cons: "What was not fine was the horror at the other end when air Canada lost my bag (which had my suit and prescriptions) and couldn't tell me where it was or when it would be delivered for over two days of calling between their service centre and one the ground people at Boston. The call centre was in India, no one in Boston would tell them what was going on. It should not take three days to sort, when the bag had actually been sent on the next flight (on Saturday evening) after the one I took. Fortunately, was able to borrow BP medication from a relative and ultimately had to spend money to buy new suit and clothes before bag finally appeared because I had business meetings for which I needed appropriate attire. Every other airline I gave flown where my bag was delayed was always delivered in 24 hours. This was not Brussels airlines fault, it was the fault of air Canada."
Pros: "The flight from Toronto to Boston is extremely short, about an hour. I don’t feel as though I can rate the food since I didn’t buy any, it just doesn’t give me an option to not rate it. It was a completely full flight. It was as comfortable as can be. It’s a smaller plane so you feel everything but the captains were good flyers."
Cons: "I’m not sure if this is something I can really complain about but I wish the flight attendants would’ve spoken a bit lower. For a plane where half of the people there had missed their connecting flight and were put on a 6:30 am flight, I don’t think we wanted to hear about their detailed personal lives."
Pros: "That we eventually got a flight home."
Cons: "Being stuck in Boston and Ottawa for 2 extra days and adding around $1200 on to our trip in hotels alone (I was travelling with 4 kids on a school trip and my wife). Additionally, we didn’t find out the flights were cancelled until we arrived at the airport. Apparently, they had been cancelled 2 hours before but there was no notification. Air Canada offered no help whatsoever and the guy at the “service” desk in Boston literally said there was nothing he could do to help. Not even find a new flight. Spent 90 minutes on the phone trying to re-book, plus re-booking hotel along the way."
Pros: "The crew did an amazing job routing us around the heavy bumps along the whole route (weather system). Short flight, so no food. Entertainment system is good, but too many ads."
Cons: "The "mandatory" ads that run over the loudspeaker right after the safety announcement. Can't turn them off or lower the volume because they are transmitted for the whole cabin. While the entertainment system is very good, the general overabundance of ads is disheartening."
Pros: "Was confusing because united and air Canada were involved so had to triple check what airline and terminal we'd arrive in back in states."
Cons: "Hot day small hot plane for awhile"
Pros: "i loved the idea of a direct flight from Vancouver to Boston, the convenience of which made other things irrelevant."
Cons: "The snacks served (a tiny bag of pretzels) were a bit meager, especially since I had gone west on Jet Blue, which serves unlimited snacks in a good variety, but that's a minor thing. I don't like checking in at an automated kiosk, which was frustrating, and took me a while to figure out (I am not of the digital generation). The first human contact I had was with the person who scanned my boarding pass. The flight was completely full, which is never a comfortable situation in coach class."
Pros: "Great, friendly crew and excellent customer service from flight attendants."
Pros: "Seats were pretty comfortable"
Cons: "In-flight entertainment depended on the Wi-Fi working. It did not work the whole flight."
Pros: "The plane was nice and in good shape. They had beverage service for a very quick flight which is nice. Can't rate food or entertainment because only hour or so flight."
Cons: "It was freezing in the plane and I'm never cold. When I asked for a blanket they had none!!! They had just announced whatever they can do to make your flight more comfortable ask them. Not true, just words. Disappointed after the great treatment after flying ANA."
Pros: "Friendly crew, efficient boarding, easy flight"
Cons: "Nothing on tv unless you pay for it. Like, nothing."
Pros: "That seats next to me were empty so I was able to sleep comfortably."
Cons: "That my ears don't work well, so it's hard to hear the movies."
Cons: "Because of missed connection I had to go from Dulles to Reagan airport"
Pros: "I got home safe."
Cons: "The customer service was mediocre. The selection of complementary beverage was minimal compared to other airlines. The staff are disgruntled and sometimes rude. There was always some sort of mechanical problems with the plane going to Puerto Plata and coming back. On the way to DR we had to divert to Miami because of problems with Navigation. They made us wait seven hours and gave us a voucher for food at the last minute. People had already bought food. I would not recommend United to none of my associates."
Pros: "The flight was as comfortable as can be. I really appreciated the great cup of coffee brewed. This was the 2nd and final segment of an overnight itinerary. What else can be said?"
Pros: "Free TV since we were 2 hours delayed"
Cons: "4 delays in 1 day on 2 flights. 2 gate changes with no relay of info and to top it all off my wife and i were reassigned to separate seats at the last minute by the airline and very rudely told to deal with it and to calm down when I simply asked why. We were appalled and embarrassed in front of many others in the gate boarding area. The gate agent in Houston has no place in customer service and was on some kind of a power trip. This surprised me with recent events. We are done with United now for many reasons"
Cons: "The fact that I have to pay extra for food or any form of entertainment is appalling compared to other airlines. $20 for WIFI? That's a joke."
