Legacy Vacation Resorts - Orlando, Kissimmee is a family vacation resort located near Old Town. The resort property is full of amenities which make for an excellent stay. There are four sparkling outdoor pools as well as three spa hot tubs. The resort has a well-equipped fitness center, a children's club, and the front desk that is staffed 24-hours per day. All of the buildings are air-conditioned for guest comfort, and the grounds are surrounded by lush gardens. There is an arcade room, spa facilities, and a convenience store on site, as well. The parking and WiFi are complimentary.

All of the 311 guest rooms are non-smoking and comfortably furnished. There are private bathrooms which include hairdryers and plush linens. The rooms come with garden or pool views, and there is an iron and ironing board provided. There are blackout curtains for those that like to sleep later, and the flat-screen TVs have cable channels. Local calls are free.

The resort property is ideally located near all of the area attractions. Guests will find themselves in the heart of Kissimmee with Old Town in walking distance. Also in walking distance from the resort grounds is Capone's Dinner Show, Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores, and Congo River Golf. Other fun spots to visit include Flacon's Fire Golf Club, all four of the Walt Disney World theme parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports, and the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets. Guests can easily drive to Universal Studios, and Cocoa Beach is about an hour away.

Cons:Major issues: - The mattress was extremely painful. It caused spine issues that sidelined the entire trip. I went so far as to purchase $100+ worth of bed toppers and memory foam to attempt to resolve the issue. - The curtains are missing the lining layer (that helps keep out light); this makes the bedroom bright at all hours since there are very bright lamps directly outside the room, on during all evening hours. - There is no air circulation and very poor air quality in the entire unit. We woke up gasping for air nightly and had continued breathing issues throughout the entire stay. Lesser issues: - The rooms and onsite amenities (pools, front desk, parking) are extremely spread out over multiple blocks. There is a good chance - like me - you will end up lugging your suitcases in the dark three blocks after checking in, while trying to find your room. Same issue pops up if you need to park or direct anyone to your room. - The front door was damaged and does not always lock - The washing machine is tiny, loud and not usable (all appliances are similar but washer/dryer are most noticeable) - The shower has very poor water pressure - Neither TV connects to any cable or local channels - WiFi is extremely slow and intermittent - The front desk told me no parking passes were available when I checked in at 10pm. Someone else from the front desk started calling the room repeatedly from 7am, on, the next morning to tell me to go get a parking pass and that someone should have provided one the night prior. - There is no daily housekeeping despite what their brochure and website say. You can call for special housekeeping before checkout but there will be a charge. Also no one collects trash and there is no obvious dumpster area outside. - Check out time is 10am and latest check out available is 11am regardless of how many guests are booked. - They take a $100 security deposit (only by card) that is not released for 7+ days. - Front desk staff only offered me a $15 (resort fee) credit after disclosing all of the above issues. Nothing has been refunded or reimbursed.

Cons:Bed was hard, had a musky odor that would not go away (even after spraying febreeze) ...small facilities not much to offer...room did not get cleaned and when called for towels did not receive any.

Pros:The hotel was very nice and clean. We didn't get to see much of the property because most of our time spent there was sleeping. The shower was bigger than a regular hotel shower and the pressure was perfect!
Cons:Our room was connected to another and I could hear everything the family in the next room was saying or doing. My bed was a little hard

Cons:The lights in the room didn't work. It was the smallest room I have ever stayed in and the grounds were HORRIBLE to navigate. My room was across the street and through a section of buildings poorly labeled. The suit numbers were not easy to figure out and even being at the right building it was hard to find. I had booked my room the same day and time as a co worker and for the same price they received a condo pretty much, full kitchen, washer/dryer and I stayed in what looked like a broken down closet.

Pros:The room itself was nice with amenities such as a toaster, microwave, and dish set. It was clean and very conveniently located (near Disney).
Cons:The walls of the mini-suite were very thin so I could hear everything going on in the next room (TV, conversations) until late in the night. The heater only blew cold air, the room, even in the middle of the day, never got above 64 degrees and went as low as 56 in night making it difficult to sleep. There was also very limited parking, coming back from Disney on Saturday night I was unable to park anywhere near our room.

Pros:Pretty good overall. it was clean and stocked nicely in the kitchen as far as dishes/pans. The pool was somewhat near our room and besides screaming kids one night, it was very nice and relaxing in the hot tub.
Cons:The windows barely closed and locked, and being on the first floor facing the back of the woods is kinda creepy. The bed and other furniture wasn't comfortable at all and there was no comforter on the bed. Our room keys "expired on Sunday and we weren't leaving till Thursday, and we came back to our room late at night and very tired. Not sure why the key they gave as in return didn't expire for another 8 days?! Oh and the room we had was connected to another next to us, so their bathroom was next to our living room and their bedroom in our kitchen. Awkward exchanges of words is what happened all week. Disappointed but content.
