Large comfortable rooms with a beautiful deck and view of rice paddy fields and hills beyond. The resort is in a beautiful setting. Nice common area pool and deck. They provided a comfortable cot for my toddler and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed 1 night between our Koh Phangan holiday and flight home, it was a perfect 1 night stop over for repacking and relaxing before flight home.
The wifi was temperamental. The restaurant attached was expensive for Thailand. Walking out from the resort, the area was not very nice, and you had to walk around 5-10 min to reach restaurants.
Breakfast was so-so, the same every day and they don’t even serve fresh juices. It also takes pretty long to get the dishes on breakfast. Sometimes we got what we didn’t order and didn’t got what we ordered. Also staff was politely asking what our plans were and if we’d like some Thai massage? All good but it was done while I was chewing long waited food. I was afraid that he will start the treatment right away. The bare minimum the feeling was that he will not go away until we order anything. Restaurant food is subpar. Rice in restaurant menu dishes is the same as you get for breakfast. Cleaning is ok but once we asked to clean the room and went to the beach. After we returned in several hours the room was not cleaned. Also we had to remind to refill coffe and shower stuff. They forgot about this often. Eventually we bought our own coffee. SPA rooms are very hot and not cooled before you come. Instead they offer to turn on aircon right above your head. After 60 minutes massage snuffle and common cold is guaranteed. Also tea is not offered after massage. Bicycles offered all in awful condition and not safe to be used. Gym is a joke. Additionally on the check in day we’ve got problems with water. It took good couple of hours to resolve this. No a huge problem, but it was at 10 PM and we wanted to sleep. An hour before check out time cleaning staff was sitting in front of the room checkig what we were taking to the car. Even checking the room while we still were in. Very unpleasant and unwelcome experience.
Room was spotless clean EVERY DAY !! A / C system works as Swiss Watch. The view from window is breath taking - beautiful pond full of Lotus Flowers. Local restaurant deserves 5 stars. We had our best dinner in two weeks on the Island and I even have the recipe of my favourite salad from this restaurant. Just ask for " Pomelo Salad " and you will not regret. The hospitality manager Mr. Nok revealed the secret for me, so that is in my collection now. Must try !!
WiFi was weak, but I was on holidays, so finally had time to read my books. If there was no WiFi at all it could be even better )))
Really comfortable huge room, if you want privacy then the private villa with the smaller pool is best. The staff were amazing and did everything they could to make my stay enjoyable, picked us up from the port and dropped us off as well for free, let me have early check in and very late check out, I liked it so much I stayed twice. The breakfast was really good, very fresh. Prices seemed to fluctuate hugely on bookings so I kept on looking daily and when they dropped I booked (no need to book anything in advance in Thailand make it up as you go along and be free!)
Its a little run down in places, forget the gym its terrible, wood needs varnish a bit of paint here and there but for the price I paid I am not complaining I really liked this place just be aware the general areas are a little worn, the rooms themselves are well maintained
The property is nice because of nature feeling around you - all those plants and natural water pools are really lovely. The pool of our villa was also very nice and clean and was fun to play for kids. Feeling of openness and privacy at the same time - that was really nice!
Property is really old-fashioned. Staff service was not highly professional. The only thing they want - to sell you any service for double the street price. Breakfast was very poor - only one plate of two types of fruits (for all like 12-15 people having breakfast at that moment), musli, white bread, coffee and the eggs (any style) - and this is it! And such a poor choise was during high season. Restaurant is closed after breakfast (no dinner possible)! Additionally - for any attraction (including food and beach) you have to walk 1-1,5 kilometer at least. And additionally - A/C most of the days was not working during peak day hours (always needed to ask to be fixed and it was fixed).
