The Japanese style dinner is kind an experience
Staff don't really speak English
Walls are thin. Could hear people talking til late night. We are in the fifties and I think we are the youngest in this hotel.
The staff were excellent! location by the river is extremely scenic and convenient as there was a subway station nearby (Jingu Marutamachi). Traditional Japanese breakfast was excellent, one of a kind experience
The carpet in the entire hotel is smelly and cause me to have nose allergies
Hotel spa is quintessentially Japanese and wonderful fun for a couple of American ladies. The view of the river, and the path along the river, are lovely. Location is convenient yet away from the bustling city center. Staff were gracious and welcoming and helpful.
Information etc was in Japanese and staff we met spoke little English. Facilities are dated. There is not powdered coffee in the room for the morning , only green tea. Our room was across the hall from vending machines which people used noisily until late.
Had dinner and breakfast, Japanese bath included, a unique experience.
Not very convenient location; quite outdated in room facilities such as lighting and furniture; not great shampoo and body wash; staff speaks very limited English; single rooms sit on the opposite side of the river view so single rooms don’t have a view;
