Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Good location with Alpine views. Parking available with short drive to Chamonix. Nice to be away from crowded tourist venues.

Good size, well appointed room.
The hotel itself was quiet but situated beside a motorway (main route to Italy through the Mont Blanc tunnel). With temperatures in the high 30's last week, and no air conditioning, we could not leave the windows closed, but the noise from the road was apalling and went on all night. The service was mixed. The woman (who we presumed to be the owner) was helpful and her waiter was a delight, constantly smiling and nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately the other young man who served us (who we took to be the owner's son) gave the impression that serving was beneath him and when he made mistakes (because he hadn't listened a properly in the first place) they were our fault! He made meals most uncomfortable. Menus choices were limited.

The location is too far from tourist attractions, not for those without own means of transport.

Excellent view of Mt Blanc. Close to main road. Good value-for-money. Parking close to front door - although there were few guests in this, the low season.

Very nice hotel. Quiet. Extremely friendly staff. Right next to the slopes (Les Houches - less than 5 mins drive away). Would recommend it to friends and would stay there again. Chamonix Centre is 10 mins drive away.
