There is an absence of staff after 4pm. Usually it is nice to have staff there as they are often friendly, full of useful tidbits of local scene. There were none here.

Breakfast was basic but everything was fresh and good quality. For the price of stay very reasonable. Nice atmosphere, tram 28 was 1 minute of walk from there. Atmosphere of the hotel was nice, personal very kind and helpful. We came late, they help us with the check in eventhough it was our mistake and very late comeing. Room was clean , bathroom too. Kitchen was nice, well equiped, great oportunity to make lunch or dinner. Lidl was near, perfect restaurants around.

Spacious room with a terrace, good upkeep of the bathroom. Access to kitchen with fridge was great, especially when you travel with 3year old. Nice receptionist who explained how everything works.

The location is perfect, very close to a stop of the famous tram 28 and in walking distance to the subway/metro station. The staff is very friendly and the (silent but beautiful) Americana music in the background in the reception room made us feel right at home.

The room and public space is clean and cozy. Free Breakfast have various foods. Staff is friendly and kind.

The water switch in shower room will stop automatically which is inconvenient for me. Some part of stairs is quite narrow for moving the suitcase.

The staff were amazing, super friendly. It was clean and had everything I needed.

We had a private room and it was very nice, the bed was very comfy. Everything was spotless clean and everything was decorated really nicely. I really liked the building it was in and the rooftop terrace was very nice.

It would have been nice if there had been soap and paper towels in the toilets.

This hostel is close to everything. The metro, tram, food, supermarket, the staff. The clean facilities. Everything you needed was available

No elevator..but then again it's Lisbon. You got to climb up

Amazing spirit and a really cosy atmosphere and comfortable place

All the staff there are lovely! The 24 check-in is great, especially as I arrived super late due to plane delays. There is always someone around to get to you should you have any delays. Breakfast is basic but then so am I, so was nice to have something to eat first thing in the morning. Allowing guests to have full use of the kitchen too is great, handy for those occasions if you wanna just cook something rather than go out for dinner. The fact there are no TVs anywhere was a surprising plus too, it meant I got to do some much sought after reading! But then this shouldn’t be a surprise seeing as the place encourages it anyway. Indeed, all the rooms are named after poets and authors! All in all, I loved my stay, and would definitely book with them again when I come to Lisbon in the future, or would definitely consider their Porto hostel should I visit that city!

Breakfast and coffee was excellent, the staff was super nice, the rooms were comfy. The whole place has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Honestly recommend this place.

The shower is awful, you can't manage it properly, you either can't get water, or you'll get crushed by an aquatic version of the Death Star.

Other than it being cozy, perfect and clean ... the staff are absolutely wonderful. They are a fantastic bunch of individuals and really do all they can to make you feel at home.

Nothing at all!

Great atmosphere, beautiful building with lovely terraces and shared spaces. The bed was super comfortable. The other hosts were all respectful and quiet. There was air conditioning

The bathroom for the 6-beds dorm was always quite dirty. For the price I paid I would have expected a better offer for breakfast and maybe a towel for free. No lockers

Great place to be at. Super atmosphere. Away from any noise, but a few mins walk and you are in the center of things. The staff are excellent .. each and every one of them.

Staff was friendly and gave great recommendations for around the city. Common areas (especially the terrace were great). Very clean.

The room near the stairs was a bit noisy.

I loved the decor and the cute little rooftop hang out area. I also liked the neighborhood it was in with pretty easy proximity to the metro, the 28 tram and Alfama area.

The only suggestion is to have more city maps and city info available. We had a little trouble finding our way around at first and I think that a better (bigger) map than what they gave at the hostel with more info about metro and public transport would have been helpful.

Very clean, the receptionist, Maria, was SUPER helpful. She's amazing, friendly and goes over and beyond her calling. The kitchen and the lounge is also very nice, including the top roof patio. It's very close to public transportation as well. The cleaners are very friendly. The cafeteria/cafe just beside the hostel has really friendly people.

The staff is extremely friendly, Maria showed us around and really like her energy! At the end of our stay we could leave the suitcases in the reception which was a nice bonus.

In the private room is a shower with a timer, no biggie there. I was missing a little shelf to put some soaps on and also I was missing a removable shower head, the shower stream was going everywhere.

The showers push bottom was very short, so it was very inconvenient.

- La tranquilité de la localisation de l'auberge. - La propreté et le confort des chambres. - la sympathie des réceptionnistes et leur disponibilité - Les espaces communs qui permettent de rencontrer d'autres personnes. - Les équipements de la cuisine très corrects. - La présence d'un patio même si n'est jamais exposé au soleil. - l'auberge n'est pas en centre ville, donc il faut marcher un certain temps ou prendre des transports en commun pour être dans le coeur de la ville mais : située juste en haut du quartier de l'Alfama, et on peut profiter du quartier en descendant à pied, ou descendre en tram 28E, ce tram qui a le charme typique recherché à Lisbonne ;) et on est à 10 min à pied du Miradouro Senhora do Monte, qui offre une vue splendide sur la ville. + À qq min du métro ligne verte - La présence d'un petit resto pas cher et correct (le poisson grillé est excellent!) juste en bas de l'auberge, pour les jours où on a la paresse de cuisiner. - La présence de locker pour garder les clés en sécurité. - le ménage est fait tous les jours

-Il n'y avait pas bcp de monde dans l'auberge quand j'y étais mais je pense qu'avec l'auberge remplie, la tranquilité n'aurait pas été la même car les pièces ne sont pas très bien isolées. - Le système de bouton poussoir dans la douche pas très pratique, ne permet pas de régler la température de la douche et l'eau chaude tarde à venir, voire ne vient pas du tout dans d'autres douches (d'après discussions avec autres voyageurs) - l'établissement n'est pas du tout accessible à des personnes à mobilité réduite ou handicapés, il n'y a que (et beaucoup) d'escaliers. Quand on est mobile et en bonne santé ça ne pose pas de problème (donc pour moi ça n'a pas été dérangeant) mais ça vaudrait le coup que ça soit précisé dans la description de l'hôtel (je ne me souviens pas l'avoir vu quand j'ai réservé)

L'hôtel est très bien situé et équipé. Le personnel est accueillant et disponible. La chambre propre et confortable.

L'hôtel n'est pas très bien insonorisé.

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec salle de bain privative, et c’était parfait, on est loin du cliché de l’auberge de jeunesse, grande chambre confortable, salle de bain très propre, belle décoration. En plus le petit déjeuner est compris dans le prix, et il y a du choix, 3 céréales différentes, du pain à grillé, jambon fromage, confitures, beurres, fruits frais et chaque matin un gâteau différent toujours très bon.

Petit déjeuner copieux, lits moelleux et très propre, ambiance agréable et reception au top, salle de bain moderne et accessible, vue sublime et terrasse très confortable.

Petit déjeuner excellent. Les chambres dortoirs de 4 lits sont appréciables ainsi que le système de salles de bain individuelles présentes à divers étages de l'établissement et la terrasse. Proche des transports en commun et des points d'intérêt de la ville.

Le fait qu'il n'y ait qu'un seul frigo.

Personnel très accueillant et de bon conseil, réception 24h/24h, possibilité de nous appeler un taxi pour un départ très tôt/tard. Literie propre et confortable. Intimité grâce aux rideaux autour des lits. Sanitaires facilement accessibles et propres. Rangement fermé à clé dans la chambre pour les effets personnels.
