Good.
Location is great.
Kettle in the room would be nice.
Disappointing
location is good , staff are friendly
wasn’t matching to the pictures I had seen in the website when I made the booking
Nice enough accommodation pity about...
The location close to Rossio Square was great as you were close to the public transport and there was plenty of restaurants and bakeries nearby. Everything was within walking distance. Our room had double aspect windows and a view towards the opera house. The cleaning Lady worked extremely hard and we found her to be very helpful.
The shower could have been better however as it was an old building we had to accept that. The outside noise level was incredible day and night and there seemed to be an area where the homeless and second hand sellers hang about. One morning at 6.00am after about and hour of listening to a group of young men drinking and squabbling I had no option but to open the window and ask them to move on. This is a particular hang out zone for locals and my partner found it quite frightening walking past them every time we entered or exited the building, so much so that we paid for two nights in Cascais for peace and quiet. We also witnessed a young girl at an ATM below us being robbed of her cash, when she ran away her cash was scattered and the locals moved in to lift it and run before the police arrived. I would advise anyone to be extremely vigilant in this area.
Pleasant
very comfortable bed. Kitchen access. Get most of what you pay for.
No one on reception. No TV (as stated there would be on booking) Average communication.
It was good altogether, we...
perfect location, private bathroom with toiletries, nice street view, small shared kitchen
I picked this place because it promised an electric kettle in the room. On having executed payment I emailed the hotel twice trying to get confirmed that there would be one (otherwise I would have brought my own). They answered my email without coming to the point, with long description of how to get there which I did not need as an experienced tourist. On arrival I was told that there was only one kettle available in a small shared kitchen , which was exactly what I wanted to avoid in the Covid times. A TV was not there either, not with nor without netflix even though listed in the offer, too. I did not expect it at the price I paid but why promise what is not there?
Good
location was good
Disappointed! Would never take up...
The location of the premises was good but that is about all.
The place was awful, I have never stay in a place this bad. Given the pandemic, I would have assumed people placed more emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene, definitely not the case here. The furniture was infested with insects, I got bitten so many times whilst trying to sleep, I returned to London with a skin infection for which I had to seek medical advice. I have traveled all over UK and Europe, been to Lisbon previously but I have never come across accommodation this bad. I have travelled across Asia to what some may refer to as "3rd world countries" yet the condition of the accommodation in those places were much better, cleaner and more comfortable. Did not expect something like this in mainland Europe. The staff were not particularly pleasant, whilst the accommodation including VAT and city tax were prepaid I was expected to pay the city tax in person. They refused to accept that it had already been paid. I have raised this with booking.com and waiting to hear back from them.
Superb
Hospitality and flexibility.
Exceptional
Everything was great. The view, tv, bed, bathroom, hot water. Lovely staff and the price is awesome.
Never again
Location
The poor maintenance of rooms. The quality of mattress. The rounding up of prices. The lack of pride by management. No Tv. Advertisement of rooms were very far removed from the truth.
Great location
Location
No 24/7 reception
Wasn't impressed. Left early.
The room was clean.
My room was not what the pictures showed it to be. When I queried this, was advised they don't have terraced rooms, so why do they depict these in the room you think you're booking
Great experience for me।
It's very silently room for me, I'm fully comfortable,
Cleening is very good।
Exceptional
Best location heart of Lisbon
Terrible place to stay
Close to the city center
TERRIBLE STAFF : empty reception !!! Waiting for 2 hours to check in !!!! Full of drunk and drugged people vomiting in the corridors. Dirty place. Can’t even have a proper shower.
Good
Staff found solution after I have complained, they gave me a very nice room after that, perhaps trying to cheer me up.
Noisy neighbors.
Value for money
Good location , clean and its value for money. Perfect place for a short affordable stay
Noisy street and no lifts
Very good

Good location Clean
Loud Broken toilet tank Pictures did not reflect room Very Old furniture Reception has no inside bell
Room ok for the price,...
The room was clean, qwith balcony so a lot of light in the room. The room and bathroom was small but that was totally ok for the price. That was close to the centre.
That was really difficult to find someone at the reception. I think that was the most negative point. There wasn't something to put our clothes. For a long stay that was not adapted but ok for a short trip. The place is really loudly, and the bedroom are not isolated for the noises. Normally that's not a problem for me but here that was really annoyed. People do a lot of noise outside and we also hear all the noise inside (even the keys to open another room for exemple).
Good
cheap and cheerful. great location.
for the price i couldnt expect too much more, although to be honest, the shower cubicle needed some urgent maintenance
One night is ok. Property...
No breakfast there
Really noisy place all the night
Clean accommodation in great location
The location was very good next to Rossio square. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The room had french windows and a small Juliette balcony. It was nice to have toiletries.
The room was quite small but it was only for sleeping so not an issue.
Very good
It was very inexpensive, clean and the location was fantastic
No air conditioning and impossible to leave windows open. The external bathroom was quite inconvenient. It was very noisy with doors banging at night.
Exceptional
Perfect location, great guy on reception, comfortable, cheap and clean place. If I go to Lisboa again I will live in this place
A LOT of drug diealers around.... A LOT! A CROUD of them
Bad experience
- Good position very central and close to Rossio Square and metro, but lot of people around asking for money or trying to sell drugs
All the rest was unpleasant and disappointing: - No one at the reception when I arrived and when I lived the hotel (and I sent an email before my arrival and they replyed) - No one at the reception when I asked for hairdryer (and I sent an email in advance about that and they replyed) - Room very basic, old fashion, small and noisy. Just a bed, a small wardrobe, a little table and a chair. No room for clothes. Bathroom too small, shower dirty. They changed our towels only once during our staying (five nights). Once I found a giant beatle next to the door!
Fabulous stay in the heart...
Super central location and very cute, bohemian lodging. Also really impressed with the cleaning staff, who were above and beyond expectation. Would definitely stay here again:)
The streets outside could get a little noisy at times.
Very good
Location - close to metro, nice view from the window. Possibility to check in till midnight.
Room very small
it is really basic
It is really close to the center, receptionist was really kind, the cleaner changed the towels every day. There are nice and cheap places in the near where you can have good breakfast :)
When we arrived at night, we were really disappointed, because the pics on the booking.com are much better than in reality. Next day we went to discover the city and then we felt, doesn't matter how look like the accomodation, it was close to everything, actually we would stay longer, if we could :) But it is really basic, so according to the price is okay :)
Very close to Lisbon central and very easy to get about.....and the cleaner was excellent didn’t speak English very good but tried clean
No everything was ok
the clean and location is in the center.
there is no staff to check out or leave the luggage and there was not tissue paper in the bathroom.. No one at the desk as usual to ask for tissue paper..
Great location, close to public transportation, metro, buses and trains. You also have a Macdonald's, a burger king and a supermarket nearby.
Location was great, clean room.
Wifi didn't work so well.
Location is very good and cleaning is perfect!
Opening times for a kitchen. Because during day we were sightseeing so we couldn't use the kitchen in the evening or very morning time.
The location was perfect , in the middle of the centre.
no tv and not always running water

The location is perfect, right on the rossioplace. 100 m from the metro. In 30 minutes by metro from the station. Alltough in the middle of the city no noise. I would go back. For the price best place in town
It is a pensoa, so do not expect a lot of luxury

Great location, right in the center, and very close to metro. Basic, but clean and quiet. Ideal for a few days sightseeing Lisbon.
Pratical and independent
The accommodation is simple and clean (I had fresh towels and sheets daily), and most conveniently located for central Lisbon and Rossio Station (for Sintra) and about 20 mins walk to Cais do Sodre Station (for Belem and Cascais). Although not modern and somewhat basic, it is very clean and well located, and outstanding value for money.
The shower dwindled to a trickle. The area on the corner of Rossio Square below the hotel seems to be a hang out place for some of the locals with a lot of time on their hands. I found this a little intimidating at first, but actually I had no problems at all over a six-night stay.
Cheap price per night and situated right on one of the main squares.
Arrived earlier than expected but couldn't get in as only one member of staff at the hotel so Reception not manned. Even though room was ready, not allowed to check in before 2pm ! Staff very rude and insulting, shouting abuse in Portuguese because I pointed out a mistake they had made. Bathroom was awful. Shower did not work at all......zero water came out of it at all and water pressure for the sink is almost non existent. Kept awake every night by very loud group of shouting locals, until 03.30, right outside the hotel, in the square. Unless you are a backpacker on a budget who doesn't need any sleep and doesn't want a shower or any hot water at all, stay well clear of this place.
The hostel is in the center and everything is very easily accessible. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The room was very very small, basically if I opened my suitcase then I didn't have any more free space in the room. I had to put a lot of things on the floor, because there was not place where to store them, because the closet looked sketchy for me, so I didn't want to use it. Also, the bathroom was very small as well. Overall, the stay was okay, but next time I would go somewhere else.
Good location and yes value
My review was critical so ignored - what a shambles. You will note I am a genius level 2 customer. So let me tell you unless l am acknowledged l will never use your services again. The lady using this booking was facing a major personal crisis. I had made the original booking online - an extra day was required, I attended the desk and as cards not taken stated l would collect and settle on return in an hour. No had to be at once as recptionist leaving - I complied at my inconvenience. On return 4 hours later, to check lady ok, gent still there - politely I informed him he had lied to me - he had. &Quot;HILTER" asked me to leave. I infact find the lady outside distressed and unhappy to return. As others had attended to support her he had been aggressive to her, a lady facing a major issue. Knowing such conduct l return and request "COMPLAINTS BOOK". BECAUSE of this a lady in distress is evicted at 9pm at night, refusal to give a reason, and refusing to enter hotel details on complaints book - that is illegal. For good measure to boost his ego and power trip he summond the police i AWAIT YOUR RESPONSE
Comfortable bed and clean room.
It's a very lovely room, however, the water pressure is very weak and there's a lot of noise from the street. Also, there's no fan or air-conditioning.
The location is central, near the Rossio metro station. It's clean and has a good wi fi. That's all you need.
Later in the evening, there are some people sleeping outside in the square, and you fell a bit uncomfortable passing by.
really nice hotel & staff & room &location
little bit noisy on the groundfloor near the reception in the morning
I believe that Joana was a very welcoming person and no issues encountered
The check in went really well and the place is in a good location! The receptionist was helpful a lot!
Its an old building with old furniture. The doors and the windows were not closing well!
Good location just off of Rossio Square and near the subway. Clean, simple facilities. Friendly staff.
Nothing I didn't like. Seems like the walls are not soundproofed, but it was still quiet at night.
The room, the sheets on the bed and the bathroom were very clean.
Large room, central location
Very small shower with a curtain instead of a cabin
Close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere. Lots of restaurants nearby
The staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate my request of room change, since the first option was not at all what I had expected.
The staff is great.
The bathroom eventhough was private. It was outside the room.
Location is great-near elevator, walking distance to seaside and many cafes, coffee shops. Staff was helpful.
It is a bit difficult to find the first time, coming from the metro. Great for a one night stay. There wasn't any heat or A/C in the small room, but I was flying out early the next day, so, no big deal.
Great location just a step from Rossio square - you can't stay in a more central place in Lisbon! Atmospheric old-style corridor and interior, partly covered in azulejos tiles. Our room and bathroom were small but very functionally arranged. Impeccably clean. Daily room service.
good location
there was hair at the toielete and bathroom
The location is excellent for central Lisbon. The accommodation is simple and clean and very good value for money.
Very clean, the fresh bedding smelled lovely. The guy on reception was really helpful and very kind. It is more like a hostel, although I had my own bathroom. The location is good for getting around Lisbon. The price was excellent!
The location at first was a little intimidating, there are quite a few people drinking and rough sleeping but it was a actually ok and the place seems to have good CCTV.
Very central and safe location. Room was very clean. Staff was nice and welcoming.
For the price, there is nothing to say. It was better than expected.
location is great!
I requested two single beds and the room was a one double bed.
The location was very close to the Metro, train station and restaurants.
Bathroom was in the hall but that was what I booked. No hair dryer.
I didn't have time to try the breakfast. Unfortunately, I ca'nt say mutch about it. But as averything was fine at the hotel, I believe the breakfast is good too.
There wasn't an elevator at the hotel. Thanks god I wasn't with my heavy luggage. But it seems like no hotels have elevators in lisbon.
very nice pension at the center of lisbon next to rossio squer clean and comftrable good room i really enjoy higly recommended
Fantastic location, simple (and a little dated) but clean and perfect for sleeping and leaving your stuff while you explore this fantastic city! There was a portable heater in the room if you need it. Noisy area but you’ll get that when you’re in the middle of everything, nearby streets settled about 10.30/11pm
The steps! Not their fault, but after a long day walking around the hills and steps those last few flights of stairs aren’t fun!
Only one lamp at the doublebed wirh a broken cord! The hotel area is not nice.
A bientôt
