We got our usual room with balconies over the courtyard/garden and the sea-side. Never disappoints. The rooftop patio is a relaxing viewpoint as well. Great coffee! Bed is sublime. Sparkling clean
Well, if I had to say something I'd mention the slow shower drain. Hard to think of any other. It is going to get tougher and tougher to plan these stays less than a week ahead as they fill up very quickly!
Nice place, good location
We knew this wasn't on the water but we did have a balcony (pleasant surprise) and a peek-a-boo view of the water.
The town was a bit noisy at night but we were there on a weekend. We also thought we would be able to get laundry done but it is closed on Sunday. Neither were major issues. Would definitely stay here again.
I was in Loreto for a kayak trip with a local company. They had provided a list of hotels to consider for the night before the trip and this was one of the "boutique" hotels listed. It was more expensive than the other one they suggested, but I chose it because others in the group were staying there. I noticed many reviews said their towels were very scratchy and it was true! The accommodations were very clean and lovely (nice tile work in the bathroom, etc), but I really only slept there, having arrived in the evening and leaving first thing in the morning. Thus, it felt like a rather expensive option for just sleeping, as the prices were close to US prices. It was a lovely hotel if I was staying for longer and wasn't trying to economize. The room was tiny and dark, but there was a nice upper deck that would be pleasant to spend time on.
Softer towels, more light, bigger room.
I liked the staff and the location in town. It was not on the beach but close to the town square and mission church.
comfort of beds and pillows and breakfast would have been nice.
