“My first experience in the maldives was wonderful. I spent a fantastic week with my girlfriend. We stayed at the koimala guesthouse. The gh is located in Maamigili island and this gives you the opportunity to live in contact with the local people and you can understand the true essence of the trip. At koimala you don't find the "staff", you find a family. I have rarely had the complete travel experience as in my stay at koimala. No guys, koimala it's not a resort. If you want the fake and "plastic" resort holiday then koimala is not for you. At koimala everything is simple and therefore made with heart and passion. Riffath is a perfect guesthouse manager, Ripon will try to satisfy all your requests and Ali with the boat crew will bring you to see whale sharks, turtles, manta rays and atolls in the middle of the ocean. Finally, they made my girlfriend's birthday unforgettable by organizing an incredible dinner on the beach and a surprise inside the hotel. The food is excellent: for a week I dined with fresh fish. What can I tell you: if you really want to live the Maldives and make your experience unforgettable then there is only one word: koimala. See you next year !!!!!”

“The hotel is not for those who expect luxury.It is a small hotel with a family atmosphere, very friendly approach and excellent food at a very reasonable price.Team staff will be happy to suit everything.They offer great tours and help with airport transfer.Beach for guests is nice, maintained daily. On this local island you will meet the everyday life of the Maeledive people, who are very welcoming. The whaling of the whale sharks in this area was fascinating.”

“Was booked for Koimala but the hotel was overbooked and I was placed in a sister property the Dravida hotel instead. The room I got at the Dravida was very nice, very clean and comfortable with a bathtub. The absolute best part of the stay was the amazing staff at the Dravida hotel. Kitty was wonderful and really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my stay. I had breakfast and dinner included in my package and the meals were amazing and very well prepared! I had a whole barracuda the first night and Kitty asked me what I wanted to eat for each night rather than choose from a menu. I felt super well cared for during my stay and will never forget the amazing level of hospitality I experienced during my stay!”
