Pros: Breakfast was nice And staff very helpful

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was super, everything about our stay was excellent,I love the fact that after our journey we were offered tea before we went to our room., that was very welcome. Our 4th visit to Maastricht and so far our best. Will be returning again thats for sure.
Cons: Room was a little tired could do with updating, but we did not come to stay in the room, so it did not stop us from enjoying our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Susan was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We were given the top floor apartment which was fabulous however stairs were steep so tread carefully, a bit dated but that doesn’t mean tatty that just added to the lovely homely feel - Shame we only stayed two nights as could have easily done a full week there. Big thumbs up to Susanne who worked really hard and breakfast selection of cold add ins to the eggs and bacon was excellent.
Cons: Everything (except steep staircase)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice vintage furniture and beautifull sun deck when you book studio. Location is great just outside busy town centre.
Cons: Separate beds in studio room.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: te staff is very kind , and the breakfast was very good
Cons: unfortunately I staid there for one night but during the heat wave ,and there was no air conditionning sytem . as there were many great windows with the sun knocking on just in front , the room was extremely warm , and only started to become a bit fresh in the morning ; even if there was a ventilator
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from city centre, but is excellent for value, cleanliness and friendly. We will definitely return if we visit Maastricht again.
Cons: No air conditioning, but the room had a fan which helped.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were extremely helpful and nice, welcomed us very late, provided a lot of information and details about our stay, the neighbourhood and Maastricht in general.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible hospitable host. More than average privacy (compared to stays at other B&B's). Really nice neighbourhood, close to the city centre. Close to several nice, non-touristic restaurants, coffee bars and shops. Nice to have access to a basic pantry to store and prepare breakfast and bikes during the whole stay.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bedroom and bathroom were clean, spacious and very comfortable. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and informative about the area and local facilities.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed this B&B! Ingrid and her family are really kind and nice. There were also bikes available to hang around the city of Maastricht!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular view from my window. Very quiet. Near restaurants and markets. Biking everywhere was wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is in a fantastic location, exceptionally clean, the beds are super comfy and Ingrid, the owner is really helpful. She is very welcoming and goes over and above what is expected. We loved our stay!
Cons: Nothing, it was amazing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, pleasant and clean in a quiet area.
Cons: 2nd time staying here, can't complain.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and convenient place to stay. Proprietors are friendly and helpful. The facilities and cleanliness of the room are at the level of a high-end B&B. Tho in this case the second B is for bike rather than breakfast. Better actually.

6.8 Good
Pros: Excellent location, fantastic and friendly staff, a warm welcome and help-10/10 customer experience. Good breakfast included
Cons: The room was very overpriced-with all the sympathy to the lovely hosts. I paid 300 eur for one night/three people-it should have been half this price for this city and standard. Still, I fully understand it was high tourist season so no hard feelings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a quaint place in a great location. The owner is an absolute pleasure and so very kind and accommodating. Breakfast was the best we had in a very long time. We highly recommend this place!!
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: I booked there because of the good comments in MichelinGuide and on TripAdvisor but finally I was very disappointed. The shower was a swimming pool. No “warm welcome” whatsoever : on Saturdays check in strictly BEFORE 2 pm or AFTER 6 pm. If you fancy to sleep in dark, make a request, otherwise there are only light curtains. You can complain but no sorries or apologizing, just a rude ignoring
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit was delicious and there was a good selection of pastries and breads. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for attending the Andre Rieu concert. The staff were just lovely.
Cons: It was fine for us but the stairs are very tight and steep so would be hard for people with mobility issues.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms with character and very convenient location to all highlights.
Cons: 3rd floor room with no lifts and steep staircase was a challenge for my 80 years old mother.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast
Cons: Nothing really to complain about.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is pretty central. The breakfast is also good.
Cons: There was no airco in the room, and the weather was 35 degrees. One of staff(the older lady) was very rude to us because we didn’t eat the omelette with meat because we are vegetarians.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host, Esmeralda, was extremely welcoming. She served us all tea and drinks on arrival and secured private parking for our two cars at the rear of the property. As we were attending an Andre Rieu concert the location was superb as we were only 9 minutes walk away from the Vrijthof Square. There was plenty for all at breakfast, including fresh fruit salad and some some cooked options. We would definately choose to stay there again if we were returning for a city break visit. Thank you to ALL the staff for making us so welcome!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for walking into the square. A few minutes longer to the market place and to the river. An excellent mix of shops from high street stores to the smaller shops in the back streets. Enjoyed walking round the market on Friday. The deep fried fish (salmon and prawns) from a stall are delicious. The staff at Rekko are extremely helpful and we would stay there again. Breakfast out in the courtyard the second morning was fantastic.
Cons: We were on the third floor with stairs only so if you mobility is not quite as good this may be a problem as no lift. We had no problems though.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Personal and very helpful approach of the owner

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Location and lovely decoration. Staff very friendly and caring even before arrival, got directions.
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff excellent and very helpful with dealing with queries prior to our stay and also once we were there. Great location. Big rooms, plenty of space. Nice breakfast but expensive for what was offered - especially given price already paid for room (close to €300 for 1 night).
Cons: Unbelievable noisy - inside and out, sounded like a herd of elephants were above us. There was no air con so we needed the window open - noise from outside was horrendous. Beds uncomfortable. Also too light as curtains didn't fit window. Barely got any sleep. Way way way over priced. Shame because the staff were lovely and very helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, building with a balanced old-new mix, and most helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: n/a
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff. Nice room. Comfy bed. Nice shampoo and soap.
Cons: No hairdryer in the room. That's the only thing I could think of.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location Quiet Nice old building
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Full of character in an excellent location with very helpful staff.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: beautiful spacious room at lovely location in the centre of Maastricht. Restaurants, bars, shopping street closeby. All you need for a great stay!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, very close to the square where the concert was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Galerie Hotel Dis is located right in the heart of Maastricht. It is a nice classic building with cozy rooms. Just a 6 minute walk from the Vrijthof, 10 minutes away from the Markt and 15-20 to Maastricht train station. Lovely staff and charming service.
Cons: Nothing.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location of the hotel is just perfect. Large room, very clean and nicely decorated. Quite and relax. Nice people. Don't expect conventional hotel reception, it's different but real cool.
Cons: Parking around is really not easy. The pay parkings are a bit far and in all the streets around you need to pay (don't miss it for a minut you get a penalty right away!!). No lift to uper floors.
6.3 Good
Pros: The room size was fantastic (front facing, 3rd floor), really spacious, nice bath room & a terrific location; the oldest quarter of Maastricht yet within easy walking distance of the city center, plenty of restaurants & cafes near by
Cons: The stairs up were a bit steep & narrow, but we already knew this in advance
7.7 Good
Pros: Our room was very spacious and tastefully furnished and decorated. Excellent location in a quiet street, very near the centre of Maastricht. Very friendly and helpful owners.
Cons: Lugging our suitcases up all the stairs (our room was on the 4th floor) because there is no lift.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel in a wonderful and central location. Very spacious room and a good buffet breakfast.
7.3 Good
Pros: Excellent location in the heart of Maastricht with its cobblestone streets, Roman walls and old buildings - and right near great shopping and cafes! A car is not needed here. The hotel is simple but full of old world charm. Great value for money - a lovely old building, clean rooms, and comfortable beds.
Cons: I have no complaints for the value price we paid for the room (on a weekday) - except that a kettle with tea and coffee sachets would have been nice in the morning ;-)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Huge room with modern conveniences in lovely old building in the middle of the historic city.
Cons:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The charm of the hotel, the combination of the gallery and hotel. Beautiful breakfast chapel, very comfortable rooms, agreeable host. Great location as well.
Cons: During the night there was a noise outside (we assume an airco of the neighbours). It was really loud so we did not have a good night of sleep. A bit unfortunate for the hotel because it was clearly something in the neighbourhood.
5.6 Okay
Pros: located very close to the center
Cons:
5.2 Okay
Pros: characteristic spot; good service
Cons:
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: It was right in the center
Cons: The room itself, old furniture, outdated, etc.
The Student Hotel Maastricht - Maastricht - Building
5
8.8 Excellent (3,714 reviews)
C$ 165+
Overview Reviews
Located in Maastricht (Maastricht-Centre Urban District), The Student Hotel Maastricht is within a 10-minute walk of Stadhuis and Market. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The minimalist style of the room was gorgeous with the interior design! Loved the bathroom and the little touches! I went for a birthday and they left super sweet message!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Place is very modern and stylish with different seating areas. Staff is super friendly. Rooftop bar is great for a romantic dinner or with friends. Gym was better than expected. Really good one.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is clean light with high ceilings. Good combination between design and the old factory building.
Cons: Just one elevator, so before checkout time you might need to wait a little
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hotel that has great retained character from its former use as a factory. Convenient large car park to the rear. Lots of quirky touches around the hotel and in the room. Short walk to the centre of town. Fantastic staff.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was excellent. For the purpose of our visit to Maastricht we didn't want to be right on the Square so this hotel was a nice walk away from the centre. It had pleasant areas to relax in. An interesting concept - converted factory - so the spaces are large.
Cons: There were plenty of guests who were not students at this hotel and it had one small working lift which was totally inadequate for the number of guests they had staying. Plus it advertised that it had a laundry but would not supply change for the machines and referred guests to the cafe who also bluntly refused to supply change. Our friends' room had a hair dryer but no kettle but coffee and tea and our room had a kettle but no hair dryer. (Good that we had friends!!) The rooms were not serviced until 6.30 - 7pm at night - so we mostly took clean towels and let the servicing go. This was not a cheap hotel and I really don't think it gave us good value for money.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything else!
Cons: The breakfast is not very varied, not a lot of choices and some odd things like no plant based butter, no small cup or bowl to put your jam in. But that was about the only negative thing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was a fun hotel with the design of the hotel ..the young staff were friendly and very eager to help. Variety of activities provided by the hotel and services.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Friendly helpful staff.
Cons: Expensive for what was on offer. No hairdryer in room. Had to borrow from reception. Only one bedside table and lamp but two of us in double bed.

Pros: The whole experience, food, comfort of beds, decor, staff,
Cons: Nothing we thougherly

Pros: Extremly beautiful everywhere Very nice and serviceminded staff Very nice breakfast Good atmosphere.
Cons: One little tiny thing, the very big and heavy glassdoors in the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good, location fine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful! 5*
Cons: Everything! Staff, friendliness, cleanliness and what a treat you are in for!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was professional and helpful. We were offered a glass of bubbly upon check-in, which was a nice touch. There were a lot of spots to hang out in peace and relax, including two courtyards. Loved the breakfast and the location, which was in the mezzanine of the old church. Really special spot and quite a selection of fresh and well-prepared food options.
Cons: Our room itself was in the annex, not the main building. The configuration was odd, but it was fine for a single night. If we were to stay longer, we would have asked to move to the main building.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, good breakfast, great building/unique place to stay Good bathroom, nice staff
Cons: Airco could be a bit better in rooms The blinds on the windows in our room did not block the light (gap on the side) means the lights shines right on your fave on the morning. Pathway right outside our room had a lot of staff walking by all the time outside. (room 15)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Personalized tour. Great recommendations for dinner Friendly staff
Cons: I liked everything.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Kruisnerenhotel is a remarkable property. The hotel and restaurant are built inside of an old church, and it is an incredibly effective combination of history and ultramodern. Strange combo but very cool in the end. The rooms are well appointed... comfortable beds, nice amenities, great shower/bathroom. I have stayed here multiple times and there are several room types, some larger than others. The Deluxe Room is my favorite so far. Will be back soon!
Cons: You must valet your car, as the parking spaces in front of the hotel are not owned by the hotel. It is a nice service, but I wasn't aware I had to valet up front, or that someone else would be driving my car.

With a stay at Hotel Les Charmes, you'll be centrally located in Maastricht, within a 5-minute walk of Natural History Museum and St. Servaas Church. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A quirky hotel - the room was comfortable with a large roll top bath and separate shower, which I liked. However, perhaps the room was getting ready for re-decoration. It was clean, but a little dingy in places, and the paintwork could have done with re-doing and the carpet possibly deep cleaning or replacing. Good breakfast. No parking -so add another 15 Euros to park in the Vrijhof underground car park. Beware that this gets very busy if there is an Andre Rieu concert taking place.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location, period features, size of the suite
Cons: Lack of facilities in the room, no tea making facilities or drinks etc. staff were largely absent, needed attention to finishing touches, tv did not work.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very charming
Cons: The steep stairs with large suitcases
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My mother and I had a fantastic time. We were visiting the city of Maastricht for a possible location of my future studies. Jules went out of his way to be helpful and friendly.
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good but it all arrived at once rather than a buffet; but here was sufficient quantity.
Cons: No aircon which would have been nice as it was a hot night. Fan did not do the job. Stairs were very steep and hard work without a lift. No coffee facilities in the room and the coffee machine in the breakfast room did not work early in the morning.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel and staff. Beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was perfect.
Cons: While some guests may like to receive plastic water bottles, they are really bad for the environment. Having drinking water available in glass cups would be better.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent.
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Slightly soul-less. No water, no coffee or tea facilities, no frills. Just a bed for the night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect if you want to stay in the city centre of Maastricht. Our room looks exactly like in the photos, the room was very nice and I really liked the vintage style of the hotel. The breakfast was good and quite filling, and I think its good value for your money.

Located in the historic town centre, very convenient access to shops, bars, river. Well presented staff...very helpful and friendly. Super breakfast.
Cons: Observations: No elevator/steep stairs for those less mobile. Rooms at rear of property only have one window, no view. Transparent glass door to ensuite more decorative than functional. Entrance to indoor parking could benefit from some external signage... could easily be missed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant super new clean and lovely people
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for sightseeing, shopping, going out. Very recently renovated rooms with modern facilities in classy setting. 8.0 Excellent
Pros: Offered a free drink (wine & beer) on arrival. A nice touch A very comfortable bed
Cons: There is NO onsite parking. You have to park on the narrow street. The bedroom has a large patio door, but it cannot be opened! Which means that the was no means of getting ventilation/fresh air into the bedroom. It could therefore get hot/stuffy in summer

Pros: quiet surroundings
Cons: nothing relevant to mention

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A stunningly beautiful hotel ideally situated for those attending andre rieu concerts approx 300yrds from vrijthof square and 5 mins from old town with parking nearby. Garden courtyard is spectacular delivering a touch of Italy and provides a fantastic place to breakfast or chill .comfortable beds, staff attentive knowledgeable and communicative. Can't rate highly enough.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable
Cons: I asked for a room on the ground floor as I have trouble climbing stairs. This was confirmed in an email by reception that I would have a ground floor room . When we checked in at 3 pm we were informed the only room available was on the second floor up two steep staircases. This prevented me from going out in the afternoon as I could only manage the stairs once . Also I think the breakfast should be included if you pay 299 euros for one night , and a kettle in the room would have been good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The internal garden is fantastic and the breakfast delicious!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything - it's a stunning building with a fabulous garden, it's central to everything going on and the hosts were fabulous. The décor was beautiful and the bed was really comfortable!
Cons: Nothing - it was a little more than we'd usually pay but it was fabulous.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The quiet location and setting
Cons: Coffee cups not cleaned and refreshed from the previous day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, in a great location only metres from the heart of the city
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, silent room. Good breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was delicious and the location was ideal. The outdoor sitting area was lovely.
Cons: The stairs up to the bathroom were too steep and the fact that we could not check into our room on arrival at about 1pm after a long journey. We were told check in was between 2 and 6 and when we went back shortly after 2 the room was still not ready and we eventually checked in at about 5.30pm. 3rd time lucky! The cost of the hotel was way above our budget and was not the price I saw when I made the reservation, otherwise I would not have booked it. It was not worth the price paid for the 16 hours we had the room for. £354!
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location, nice staff
Cons: Pretty basic for 300€/night.Small room.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is very central. The staff went out of their way to help (we had a ‘delayed’ case delivered from the airport and the staff stayed late to receive it)
Cons: Beware that there are few if any lifts in these old buildings! It was a bit pricey BUT the whole city was full with Andre Rieu fans (like us) staying there for his annual concerts in his hometown
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy beds, lovely staff, beautiful clean room and great new shower/bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous property, friendly and helpful reception. Very comfortable and quiet location because of its proximity to the park. Will definitely be back.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was fantastic and was in a great location, it was clean and comfortable. I liked the minimalistic and modern approach to decoration, made it extremely modern feeling and clean looking. Plenty of restaurants/cafes within the locality of the hotel. Would stay here again without hesitation.
Cons: Not a fan of having an actual key for a room, prefer key cards but its not a major dislike and would definitely not stop me staying here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location so so close to everthing, good breakfast, nice pool friendly staff
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful studio, great design, good cosmetics&coffee, relaxing pool.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location.
Cons: A little bid difficult to find.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location. Facilities were great if you like pools. The room was lovely.
Cons: Had to climb to rather narrow staircases with suitcases which was not great to the extension of dangerous. Did not like the mattresses, too soft and I always like two pillows for when you sit and watch some TV.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The stairways were narrow and steep which made carrying heavy bags very difficult.
4.3 Okay
Pros: It was near Maastricht square
Cons: The staff were not friendly. My friend could not go for a swim at the allocated time. I asked for a twin room and got a room with double bed which didnt suit us one of us slept out over the duvet this is not suitable or acceptable.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: EVERYTHING. Typically dutch-french - freshly squeeze orange juice, serve yourself food: cerials, fresh croisents, cakes, breads, cheeses, meats, boil eggs with your own timer ! (quaint), eating inside or in the historic courtyard, which is also a small upmarket public restaurant for excellent dinner - using fresh seasonal produce, set in lovely surroundings. Whole building is Spotless inside and out, original stone & wooden stairways and hall, so Frenchy. Terrific staff and cooks, 6 minutes walk along the cobbold street to the Square for the Andre Ruie Concerts, many many little restaurants, bars, boutiques, squares, churches, and the River is about 10 mins walk. GORGEOUS Maastricht.
Cons: Nothing could have been better.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent .Staff helpful and friendly. Enjoyable visit. Would recommend
Cons: Nothing really.
5.8 Okay
Pros: It was very convenient for the centre of Maastricht and the parking was also good but was charged for on top of the exorbitant price of the room/ appartment
Cons: The room / apartment was very overpriced for what it was. The facilities were not good, brkrn tap in the toilet, blind in the bedroom which wouldn’t shut, hole in the ceiling light, kitchen between toilet and bathroom ........
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, the apartment was roomy and very clean. The staff is extremely helpful, polite and kind. Thank you for everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff couldn't have done any more for is and were so friendly. Location of hotel is fabulous - within 2 minutes of the main square yet so peaceful. If you're going to see Andre Rieu this hotel is perfect. There's a lift in the hotel for anyone who has difficulty with the stairs and a lovely restaurant where you can sit inside or outside in a beautiful courtyard.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed, did not want to get out
Cons: Nothing we did not like , very adequate for our needs
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I liked the fact that the hotel was fairly small, hospitable and comfortable. Being an old building, probably historic, I found the facilities were probably the best that could be achieved without spoiling the ambience of the place. I am over six feet 5 inches tall and the owner even offered to find me another room with higher doorways so that I didn't bang my head in the dark. The restaurant and breakfast room was first class; we both loved it.
Cons: Difficult one this but the lack of car parking on site was awkward but again the owner went to great lengths to ensure I knew where to park my car. We were there as the final leg of a tour so this was very helpful.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was ideal for our stay, as there was a sofa bed that was made up for our son as well as a double bed for ourselves. The separate access door was also very convenient and helpful for my wife, who has limited mobility. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and we enjoyed an excellent dinner in a great ambience, as well as very good breakfasts.
Cons: Everything was fine.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a little apartment and were in Maastricht during the heatwave - was cooler than a room would have been. Personnel very friendly. Restaurant for breakfast was lovely in a fabulous courtyard. Location perfect

This comfortable hotel is situated in Maastricht. Le Virage guarantees a quiet stay as it counts with just 4 bedrooms. This is not a pet-friendly hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect and the room was big an clean. All good
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Much better than two star hotel. Studio was very spacious and clean and staff was very kind and flexible.Location is perfect, walking distance from everywhere.
Cons: Nothing really
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Was comfortable and very friendly
Cons: Noise I know was Andre Rieu but was pricy
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely lively spot in the middle of the centre. Very friendly staff!
Cons: We were aware that there would be some noise from the street. It is not a quiet place.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location fantastic!
Cons: Bathroom shower - needs to be redesigned, water all over the floor, not enough towels, especially for the floor and a better fan to clear out hot air would be beneficial
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This accommodation is adorable, comfortable, and rewarding, in literally the most picturesque part of town. The noise of the street below mentioned in other reviews is not bothersome at all, it’s a beautiful little atmosphere that closes down after dinner time, and weekdays are further peaceful. Apartment is big, light, comfortable. Issues with accessing the property described in other reviews were not my experience, I emailed Didier from the Brussels airport and he responded immediately to say they’d be there, and they were, even when I was then later than I originally said. A very pleasant host who went above and beyond to have my leave time suit my attendance at a conference, so I didn’t have to haul my bags around. An entirely enjoyable stay, thank you.
Cons: Not a bad word to say
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is handy place, it is quite in center but not in the busiest area.. They have two rooms, bed room and small space to sit down in sofa, which was nice. Coffee machine (a bit broken but we could use) and water boiler in the room are always great!
Cons: If you are a person who needs dark & quiet room, we won't recommend. as you hear the street noise till late at night, plus curtain is rather thin and you won't get total dark (especially in summer) - but those are not important for us...
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It’s in the very centre of Maastricht City, with nice view of the street.
Cons: The WiFi signal is a bit weak
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Right in the city centre. Staff very friendly. Excellent evening meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Maastricht is lovely to visit.
Cons: No nearby parking. No breakfast option. Make sure you message hotel and ask for directions for parking. On street parking about 5/10 minute walk away. Plenty of other places to get a breakfast nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room number 3 was perfect because of its terrasse overlooking nice parts of the city. They gave us lots of extra time for check out at 4pm. We will come back to this hotel on our trips from Bonn to Maastricht.
6.7 Good
Pros: Le Virage is in a great location - convenient to everything in the old part of the city. The price was acceptable for the size of the apartment, and the lack of hotel staff. Breakfast at the Bishop's Mill was a plus - great place and convenient.
Cons: The location, though great, is deceiving. It looks like a quiet and tranquil place, but in fact is very noisy until well after midnight. With all the street noise, it was difficult to get any sleep until about 3 a.m. I would also recommend that the Bishop's Mill be informed of guests who will be having breakfast there. We showed up on Sunday at 0830, and they were closed. A delivery man informed one of the bakers that we were outside and he let us in, but we nearly left since the notice on the door stated that they would not open until 1100 on Sundays.
6.0 Good
Pros: good size room and great location. room had a lounge area and fridge with tea/coffee making facilities.
Cons: Breakfast not available until 8.30 which was a problem as I was on a business trip. bed was a little small if 2 people were sharing but great for 1!
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The disco opposite to the hotel was so noisy that I didn't sleep half of the night. The bed was too short and old (pit in the middle). Decoration was dated, remote control not working. Rooms were gloomy. And lthe last downside: the hotel offers no breakfast.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Thé extra thing I liked was the easy access to the laundry room available at all time with an ironing board .
Cons: Although it is so close to public transportation , wished there were few restaurants around to eat at our convenience without having to take transportation to the center of the city . The restaurant next door was serving only breakfast

7.0 Good
Pros: Understaffed at Breakfast. Only 1 coffee machine working leading to Queus. Also kept running out of bacon & scrambled eggs. limited choice of hot food anyway. Very Nice gardens & spacious.. Long delay to get a drink if sitting in the garden late afternoon.
Cons: See above
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great building close to city center Maastricht
Cons: Dogs are allowed in the room. Room was dark due to low elevation -1
9.3 Excellent
Pros: -The huge grounds with woods and a lake which you could walk around and explore. Beware of the electric fence around the sheep though! Didn’t hurt much fortunately :D -The clean and modern room with comfortable bed. We had a comfort deluxe room with the sink outside the bathroom. It was a nice sink so that didn’t bother us! The shower is big which compensates. - The contrast of beautiful ‘original’ and modern decor in the building (apart from, as previously commented on, the white plastic chairs in the dining room) - The food at the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. There was a vegetarian option on the menu which was really good. It would be nice if this was made vegan instead though to cater to more people. I’m sure the chefs there would do a fantastic job of it! Breakfast was good, but missed nuts and seeds to go with the yogurt (and option of soya yogurt) - And last but not least... we too loved the infamous ginger cat that was chillin’ on the reception desk when we checked out.
Cons: Nothing except for that mentioned above. It may be too far away from the city center for some people.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It is in the countryside.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: It wasn't worth money. The building and the surrounding are nice , historical and lots of greens. We've paid €330.00 for a very very simple room without no minibar, no coffee machine, no glasses and cups and no water bottels. We had to pay € 6.00 for a bottle of water. The breakfast was short of some things such as brown sugar and other diet things.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole experience was fabulous
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location, huge and impressive garden with ponds, woods, sheep and a lot of historic details! Lots of parking space and neat hotel rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were not that expensive as you might think when you see the beautiful castle. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the shopping centre in the city. Dogs are allowed in the hotel. My husband and I had a wonderful stay and we recommend this spot. We will definitely return!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting. Comfortable rooms. Good price.
Cons: No one could fix the TV. Poor response from front desk to minor pillow and towel requests. Continental Breakfast was way too expense at $16 euros.
5.5 Okay
Pros: A particular young waiter who works there part-time tried to give us an excellent service and we much appreciated his efforts to try to make our time enjoyable. Location and facilities are nice and very green.
Cons: The first point is the restaurant - at about 18:30 we called hotel reception to ask till what time the restaurant is open. We were advised that we can order food up until 21.00. When we arrived at 20.30 the restaurant staff said that they cannot serve us ala carte menu without reservation in advance, as they simply have no food is not reserved. After complaining, they offered us the bar menu (fast food burger and chips style). We were forced to accept this as the hotel is far from the city and there is nothing else around. If we would drive back to the city we would be left without dinner at all. Reception desk does not know its restaurant policy or is not bothered to tell the guests. Generally, the attitude of staff needs some polishing. As guests, we did not feel welcome. The second point - the matrasses were way too soft, and I woke up with tensed back. And I am not in the heave range. Plus the matrasses are slipping to the sides so you end up in a nice hole in the middle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the surrounding gardens and park, as well as being able to take a walk in their forest and orchard. The Sequoia trees were a wonderful surprise! The room was very comfortable & quiet, and the breakfast had fresh & healthy options and great coffee. The staff were always very friendly, and offered us a basket to pick our own fruit in their orchard.
Cons: We would have preferred an electric kettle in the room, so that we could boil water for a cup of tea or coffee in the evening.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally helpful and courteous staff and a perfect location and hotel
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Rooms were amazing. Pillows exceptional. Shower great.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I think the buffet breakfast is a bit disappointing. Not enough choices of food for a 17 euro breakfast.
Cons: The style the cleanliness and the location are perfect. It is just opposite to the train station. There are some good restaurants nearby. The yum cha restaurant just a few steps away is absolutely unforgettable. There are a bike store nearby for bike rental. I love the bed a lot. Very comfy. Staff was lovely and helpful. Great value.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Can be a bit noisy especially if you are staying in lower floors.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are nice, clean and have big screen tv's. Beds are good. Strong Shower. Staff is very fast in responding to problems. Nearby some bars and restaurants and opposite the train station. 10min walk a lot of bars and restaurants. Lounge area is very good for having breakfast, that you can buy at the supermarket 'round the corner. Nice touches with the quotes on the wall and stuff.
Cons: Small things. I'm used to having a refrigerator in the room. Bit of a bother not to have one. We booked the rooms without breakfast and I think E17 for a continental breakfast is a quite outrageous. The other option "quick breakfast" is a bit better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome finishes, divine beds! Great choices for breakfast, buffet, light breakfast or the SPAR which has an awesome variety to take back and enjoy at the hotels outside lounge area. Kids loved the boxes of LEGO which were available.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The breakfast was served in either the coffee shop or restaurant next door.
Cons: The window in the bathroom overlooked the hotel opposite and had clear glass. It meant I could be seen using the loo...not comfortable...and the blind didn't come down fully.
