Located on the west side of Miami Beach, your beautifully decorated room will either have views facing east of palm trees and the ocean or if you are facing west, the beautiful cityscape of Miami. The rooms themselves are comfortable, cozy, and the perfect place to crash after living it up in one of America’s great playgrounds.

Dining at the hotel is very easy. If you are into breakfast, there is a great free breakfast that will get you started on your day the right way. Miami Beach has many great restaurants. Two of the most famous are Joe’s Stone Crab and Prime 112. These two restaurants are a short walk from the hotel. You can easily take a walk to the restaurants and grab a drink at one of the many bars on the way back to the hotel. Location is one of the great features of this hotel.

Staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Beach South Beach is an excellent way to enjoy time in South Florida.

Pros (+) We were stuck in south Florida for an extra three days due to the shooting at Ft. Lauderdale airport. Residence Inn Miami Beach was able to accommodate us on short notice. Pros (+) walking distance to outdoor mall area. Great for shopping and grabbing a bite to eat on the patio.
Cons (-) Pool was closed (no prior notice about pool being closed). Had a balcony that overlooked a porta potty. Free wireless at hotel; however they don't give you a access code upon checkin. Pillows are terrible, provided a horrible sleeping experience. Room took a couple hours to cool off, so set the thermometer ahead of time.
