The son of the owner run the place exceptionally and he was very service minded and great person
Room do not give much daylight
Nothing about the hotel other than that it was relatively near to the tram service and within walking distance of the beach.
Very dark rooms. Parking limited. Staff offensive.
Located in a nice area; Parking availability; Friendly owner/staff; Antique decoration
Not clean, too much stuff in the rooms, No reception available, Small rooms
The convenience of not being too far from Dunkirk for our journey home!
We feel this hotel was expensive for the facilities it had to offer. We had been travelling in Europe to the Czech Republic and it was the last hotel we stayed in before travelling to Dunkirk for our journey to the UK.It was not the room we had reserved but was the last available at the Hotel. It had a water bed which we had not reserved, although comfortable. The room was very small with too much furniture and too many ornaments - you could just about walk around the bed and had little room for taking bits out of a suitcase. It was dim. The bathroom was dark, toilet roll holder broken, no soap or shower gel, etc supplied. In all, we felt it extremely expensive for the facilities offered and did not live up to its description.
It was quiet, being some way from the seafront. Other than that, nothing to recommend it.
This was the most expensive of the four hotels we used during a cycle tour of Belgium. It got off to a bad start when, a month after booking, we were advised that they had promoted the wrong rates on the web site and we had to pay more. When we arrived we were told to come back in half an hour as the owner wsn't there. On our return we waited in the foyer for 15 minutes before being attended to. The room was fussy, in faux-Moorish style, yet lacked simple things like a wardrobe or towel rail. And a full-lenght mirror, with no frame. Leaning against the bedroom wall was an accident waiting to happen. Breakfast was also the worst we experienced during our trip. We were glad to leave.
price
room could do with some renovation
The breakfast meal very tastey.
The price was not so cheap.
