Great and clean rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast one of the best I’ve ever had with a lot of food to choose from. Location was great with a subway station just a few metres from the hotel.
Nothing in particular maybe just that the shower was a bit small. Otherwise perfect!
The location is excellent in the vicinity of the metro line, taking about 15 minutes to get to the Main Station (Milano Centrale) and about 20 minutes to the Duomo (with just 1 quick change). The location is also in a nice and quiet area of the city. The breakfast was marvellous. The ladies working around were very friendly and helpful. This made the breakfast pleasant - a typical Italian one with a large spread of the items.
Unfortunately the accommodation was with issues from the beginning of our stay - the receptionist was not helpful, even rude, when we asked for a help with the main issue. The worst issue was the shower. The thermostat in the shower didn't work, which made my friend to burn herself by extremely hot water, which started to run shortly after she entered the shower. We tried to adjust the tap, but the red button in it was stuck, which caused, that the cold water didn't run into the shower mixer. We tried to call the reception, but the phone line was off, so we went personally to the reception. The receptionist (named Maria) went with us to the room saying, that the thermostat just needs to be set. We tried again to move the thermostat, but no progress - just hot water. We went again to the reception - me and my friend complaining about the issue and asking it to be either fixed or us to get another room. The receptionist Maria said, that it was not her problem and that she couldn't get it fixed and all other rooms were full. We were absolutely shocked by such a rude attitude - we understand, that this was not direct the receptionist's fault, but expected her to find a solution or to call a plumber or somebody, who could fix it. We arrived late and naturally wanted to have a shower after the long flights and a whole day stay in the city walking. I said, that I was going to complain to booking.com about such a rude attitude of the staff. I usually don't do that, but this was really too much. A technician eventually arrived, the thermostat was somehow fixed, but we observed, that it got stuck again by the end of our stay - the maintenance should be done properly to avoid another guests to get burned, as my friend had been. Other issues - only a classical key (electronic one broken), stinking drains in the bathroom, no kettle in the room without asking for one. Don't accept room 411, if in the hotel - this is our advice to you.
It is quite place, room was clean, 24 hour desk, check in took maybe less then a minute, English speaking stuff, good location, good Wi-Fi.
Shower cabin was very tiny. However, we are also very thin people, so it didn't bother us too much.
The best breakfast! Super clean rooms and sheets! Friendly and helpful stuff.
