Breakfast was fine for being included in the price.
The AC was not working and the hostel arranged for nothing else for ventilating the room. Everyone had to sleep almost without clothes just to survive the evenings. The lounge seems to have furniture all picked from the street. Please carry a small lock for the locker and you must pay a city tax seperately. 2 euros per night
The air conditioning wasn't the best.
All of the receptionists are so friendly and they did everything to help us! Breakfast was also good and enough. Thank you!
The staff is kind, understanding and efficient. I needed to check in a bit late and they were kind to wait for me. They also let me pay the cash part of the booking after the checkin. Later during my stay I had problems with the room (AC not working properly) and some roommates (some freaking Portuguese cocaine snorters shared the room with me for one night) and the staff offered me a better room after that with no additional costs. The rooms are clean, they clean it every day as far as I could tell. WiFi is pretty good in the whole building. Breakfast is average at best (coffee and juice is kinda bad, but they offer cold cuts and yoghurt) but acceptable for the price charged.
The rooms could be maintained better. During my stay on the first room the AC was noisy and not working properly (it shut down constantly) and the shower was missing the shower support so I had to hold the shower hose with my hands. In the second room the AC was better but still not that efficient. Considering that they charge extra 2 euro/day for the AC I expected more.
The staff was amazing, and the facilities too. The breakfast was really good. It’s close to a subway station so that’s great.
The only bad thing is that there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room because the air conditioning didn’t work so we had to open the windows.
