Stunning location - absolutely incredible. So lovely and relaxing. Received a free upgrade to a stunning room overlooking the river and it was just superb. Staff were incredible. Food was amazing - we had our dinner and breakfast by the river which was priceless. Room and facilities were excellent.
TV could have been bigger and include Netflix access and/or cable. But honestly it was a perfect place and we will hopefully return!
This resort is excellent, we loved our time there. The food, wine selection, bar area was really good, as were the cabins. We'd definitely return if in the area.
This place is special. It gives you a chance to really connect with this beautiful landscape. The staff here is incredible. They showed me every kindness. The opportunities to explore not only the property but also its stunning natural surroundings are endless. I was invited to participate in an astronomy night as I arrived. With the clear sky, we had incredible views. The Garden Dinner was terrific. Not only did it showcase locally grown food, but also the chef and the entire team here. It also gave us, as guests, a chance to connect with one another, across our different backgrounds and experiences. I had one of the best days of my life when I took the Twisted Jeep Hell's Revenge tour and then followed that with a 2-hour evening trail ride. So grateful for my time here. I will endeavor to return.
Nothing at all. This place is amazing. Absolutely everything is anticipated and managed for your your enjoyment and convenience. There's nothing not to like here. Nothing that need to be improved in my view.
Bed was comfortable.
Price does not match accommodations. TV was very small with only 7 or 8 channels and they were fuzzy. Wifi was iffy. Parking was too far from room and hard to find at times. Lighting to the rooms was too dark. Housekeeping was less than desirable.
Awesome resort where we have spend an amazing stay for my Birthday !! staff toughtful ad careful. However, the roller shades are too old and too complicated to mannage. They definitely should change them all. (power shades should be pretty better). The River view is dramatic and spectacular. Horseback riding is the most wonnderful attractionn of the resort. The Cowboy/girl in charge are great ! This resort is highly recommanded (if you cann afford it of course..)
Overpriced rates. Roller shades in the rooms too old and need to be changed.
Located behind a backdrop of red-rock mesas on the Colorado River, Sorrel River Ranch Resort is a perfect base camp for families and couples seeking an adventurous vacation.
Located in a Colorado River location that's removed from the national parks, the resort is remote and secluded. There are no restaurants or shops within walking distance and popular attractions such as Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park, and Hurrah Passare are thirty-minutes to an hour away. Downtown Moab, which offers plenty of adventure tours, restaurants, shops, and cafes is just 25 minutes away.
There are three restaurants, including the classically decorated River Grill, with large windows overlooking property. Both the River Deck and Riverside Bar offer rocking chairs and patio furniture directly on the Colorado River for guests’ enjoyment. Also on-site is the cozy Professor Valley Dining Room featuring a fireplace, a potbelly stove, a spiral staircase, comfy leather sofas, and an enclosed patio with river views. There’s also a relaxing spa, a sauna, steam room, locker room, a fireplace treatment room, and a standard gym. There is also an outdoor pool and hot tub offering wonderful views. There are also six meeting rooms, event lawns, a pavilion, and river deck that can be rented out.
Accommodations come in the form of houses and cabins. The cabins come in four categories ranging from Mountain-View, River-View, Spa, and Family. All styles of rooms offer subtle Wild West, Southwest décor touches. All accommodations come with bathrobes, flat-screen TVs, kitchenettes with microwaves and minifridges. Family units offer two bathrooms and riverside decks, while the three-bedroom Ranch House features leather furniture, a kitchen, a kitchenette, a patio, and balcony, along with a fireplace, a laundry room, and three bathrooms.
