10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place, I was very surprised!!! Nice an welcoming personal. Excellent breakfast a lot of variety and very tasty, one of the best that I had in hotels in Europe!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable bed
Cons: Some of the waiters in the restaurant did not speak English, so it was difficult to understand each other
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A great location, near to the main roads yet quiet.
Cons: The buffet was only average.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed - great shower with lights that changed colour !
9.5 Excellent
Pros: A very modern, clean, fun place to stay. Enjoyd every aspect about it. The attached restaurant is great too. A hidden gem!
Cons: A little tough to get to the access road. But once there you can see it. Only found it because of a rare billboard advertisement we happened to see from the road.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a transit stop for me, but a great room, fabulous staff, and good food. And very convenient for the motorway, so 10/10. Thanks guys !!
Cons: Nothing much
10.0 Excellent
Pros: did not have it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect size room with great a great bed. Had an excellent sleep
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff is amazing and I like the moderns style of the rooms. It's close to the motorway yet one is close to the canal and can go for quiet walks along it.
Cons: The restaurant that's attached to the hotel (la Planche) is a little pricey for what you get. Staff was amazing but the food was overpriced.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This was out second stay at the hotel and we were not disappointed. The Staff are fantastic. The rooms have a different look about them, very nice, very comfortable.
Cons: Nothing to do with the hotel but the steak at the attached "La Planche" restaurant wasn't great. Not cooked as ordered. But the multilingual waiter was brilliant and made up for the poor food experience. The double bed was up against the wall which was a bit awkward.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located in a quiet area and plenty of parking space.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Just about everything. You feel welcome from the moment you enter the hotel. The open plan layout of the public areas gives a spacious & airy appeal. It’s also noticeably clean with a modern decor. The staff on reception greet you with a welcoming smile and are very pleasant & helpful. Entering the room, a standard double, it is clean, bright & spacious with lots of storage space. A wall length desk to work at. The shower room is large, also houses the wash hand basin. The toilet is in a separate room. There’s a safe in the room and a very useful little fridge. Amazingly, this is stocked with complimentary drinks: 1 each of coke, Diet Coke, fresh orange & water. If, like me, you don’t take fizzy drinks, especially not coke, it’s no trouble to swap these for 1 of the other available choices. The AC works, as does the free WiFi. One of the windows opens to allow fresh air. The view, though there’s little to see but open space, is lovely & relaxing. Out of interest, my friend who booked at the last minute resulting in a shortage of available rooms. Had to opt for a slightly more expensive room. However, it was noticeably bigger. Plus the bathroom had both a bath and separate shower - which, again, was bigger and it had a glass wall to keep the water within the shower area. There was also a very useful wall mirror in the room.
Cons: A few small touches would have set the room above perfect: It would have benefited fro having a separate wall mirror in the room rather than having to pop into the bathroom every time you wanted to check your dress, fix your hair, makeup ......particularly when someone else was already using that mirror. I have no idea why no glass wall was fitted to the shower ..... even when being very careful with the shower, the floor area beyond the shower would end up soaked. Luckily it was obvious from first glance that would happen hence I’d moved the floor mat out of reach before showering. The area around the wash hand basin would benefit from a useful shelf/ shelves for toiletries (toothbrush/paste, face creams etc) It’s a little inconvenient having the toilet located in a separate room (though, some guests might prefer that when sharing). The room which houses the toilet would benefit from a shelf (the room is small but the wall at the back of the toilet would be suitable). It would be a useful place to keep personal toilet items (and even your mobile phone) rather than everything having to sit on the floor where it is in the way of the housekeeper and can be wet (from the daily wash).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is good in this hotel.
Cons: ?
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is excellent
4.5 Okay
Cons: At arrival in the evening, only 1 person behingdthe reception with a queu of 6 persons. After 15 min waiting decided to go for dinner first. Having fish and chicken, no bowls for putting the bones. After dinner back to the reception, no one there. Waited for 4 minutes. The person comes, phone rings and decides to pick uo the phone first and lets me wait for minutes again. extremely small square pillows on the bed..the gym is not worth it. Worst thing; Room 143 is the junior suite, which you pay extra for. Is right above 6 garbage bins. Which the retaurant decided to fill or empty at 1 am in the morning.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast selection.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant was great; staff was super accommodating; room was amazing; free mini bar; walking distance from the mons train station. I’m definitely staying here again on my next trip to mons!
Cons: It’s really a stretch to come up with something. To be perfect, the iron would be inside the room instead of at the front desk. The mattress could be better, but it definitely exceeds the standard for Europe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was more specious than I expected and very clean. The cleaner left a card with her name on it and some chocolate which was very attentive. The balcony was a nice surprise as it had a great view of the sunset. The personnel was also very attentive. Everyone greeted us and the guy who checked us in asked us if everything was all-right when he crossed us as we were going out on the first day. Also, we were Dutch speaking and the staff really did their best to speak Dutch even though it's not their first language. We also ordered our dinner via roomservice once, and it was very beautifully presented and very tasteful! Props to the chefs. Not to mention, served quickly :) It's also within walking distance from the train station
Cons: We used the cups, and the cleaner threw them away every time. But they were never refilled. When we asked for them, we got them but it would've been nice if they were refilled. I've never had to pay with creditcard before, but I thought it was annoying that first an amount was withdrawn from my creditcard but when we checked-out we had to pay for the room by card nevertheless. I wished they would've just kept the money they withdrawn from my creditcard because this felt like a big hassle
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Always good and comfortable
Cons: Location is in the middle of expo centre with nothing around and the drinks are expensive
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here 3 times now and it never disappoints me. It’s a Short walk into the town Center if you want to eat out, although the restaurant food is fantastic. Plenty of free parking and close to main roads.
Cons: Parking, comfortable beds

Cons: Staff stayed chatting while I was try to pay for breakfast and leave
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast! Nice and confy rooms!
4.5 Okay
Cons: Staff not very helpful
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable and clean. The staff on reception were extremely helpful. I did not get chance to use all the facilities, such as the restaurant and breakfast, but there appeared to be a good atmosphere in the bar.
Cons: A television with cable channels and not just a terrestrial aerial where the picture was un-watchable. I am sure many business travellers, like me, are keen to catch-up on the news and want to relax watching some entertainment programmes.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Receptionist was friendly and helpful and spoke English. Room was small but very modern, cozy and clean. Breakfast fad a great variety of items to choose from and good coffee. Private parking was much appreciated. We would stay again and gladly recommend this hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice, very quite location, clean and tidy room, friendly people running the hotel. A restaurant downstairs serves delicious food, the service is very nice and friendly.
Cons: There was a problem with the hairdryer - it didn't work and it wasn't fixed during my stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice food and excellent wine selection in the restaurant!
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was big. Nice shower.
Cons: The airconditioning was too strong. The bedsheets were thin.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff, but not too resolutive facing incidents. The existing restaurant has a varied menu of elaborate dishes. Existence of a park in the facilities, although yes, to get to it has to go through a door and a fairly narrow corridor, be careful with it.
Cons: Upon arrival at the room after check-in, the air conditioning did not work, the wifi either and the small existing refrigerator did not either. I mentioned it to the reception but they could not give any solution, I had to use a personal network cable to connect to a wall socket and thus be able to have internet. Towards an unbearable heat and with the air conditioning not working could not be in the room, for which I had to open the balcony doors throughout the night, resulting in the entry of mosquitoes that "fried" me to bites all the night. I do not find it acceptable, that having booked a suite, upon arrival there will not work main services such as air conditioning and wifi. These things should be checked before offering the room in web portals. The direction of the hotel the first night remained totally passive, and did not react until the next day. To my understanding too late. Any excuse then does not solve anything.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good Italian restaurant in the hotel. Good level parking.
Cons: La Louviere not a pretty place. Entry to car park very narrow, through building.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Large room with extra space.
Cons: The room we had was separate from the rest of the rooms and part of an apartment building. It was very loud between 2-4 am. Would stay there again if we had a different room.
6.8 Good
Pros: location is great having a car park is ideal for a hotel in central Mons - Staff was great ! despite the front desk close at 20h, I call the hotel, and the lady waited for me...for 45min as my flight was delayed
Cons: I stayed in very spacious room, but... a narrow access stair was difficult to carry on the bag Despite having a very nice TV...it did not work... If it have worked,... the location of the TV was not good at all... the light switches are not aligned with the bed. The hotel could have a major overall...to meet clients expectation.

5.8 Okay
Cons: No reception open. No response to any communications. Lots of little things, wiring, hose brackets, dirty bed bases etc. Hotel was empty, but i still had to take a 2nd floor room, 48 steps, no lifts! A bit more consideration when i have to carry all 5 bags! Owner was in bar downstairs, so don't understand zero communication on his part?

Pros: Great location, close to train station and at the bus station. Walking distance to the major sites. Many restaurants near by. The room was surprisingly clean and modern, not what you would expect from the outside or lobby.
Cons: No elevator. It can be a difficult climb if you have luggage and are on an upper floor.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The bed was not comfortable. Towels were not clean. The walls between the rooms are very thin, you can hear next room snoring. The staf was smoking while I had my breakfast. I had to ask for coffee by brakfast.
5.0 Okay
Pros: It was warm and clean. Tv ( never turned it on tho ), shower ok not great, shower gel and soap provided. Towels ok. Bed linen ok. FREE wi Fi whoooo and it worked a treat.
Cons: Hard Pillows, mattress protector made you sweaty. Church bell rung every half hour even through the night ! someone was smoking in another room and it stunk our room out too. Had to open the massive window/ fire escape to get some fresh air even tho it was cold outside and plugged the door seal with toilet tissue so it didnt waft in anymore. One staff member was very helpful but another had no idea...english was poor. The car park you could pay 6 euro a night for but staff member had no idea how to work the card ? then we found out you can park in the square for free between 6.30pm and 9am so didnt need to pay for the car park. Breakfast was minimal for 6 euros each. You sat eating it while people played on the slot machines.... smoking !!!! ....had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to our room no lift. Room was okay but very very basic... It had no atmosphere.... there was a pic on the wall of a man and woman .... embracing ! ? it was a bit um...... odd !
9.5 Excellent

3.3 Mediocre

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Stinks of smoke. Rude member of staff on evening (blonde guy). INCREDIBLY rude. Room disgusting. En-suite do small you can’t sit on toilet. Nasty sheets. Smells DISGUSTING. Parking card didn’t work. Breakfast is day old croissants. Completely REVOLTING PLACE. Would NEVER stay there again.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Hotel Nightmare - Wil never ever go there again, and would advise All others to stay away.
Cons: Everything
4.3 Okay
Pros: The hotel room was clean.
Cons: There was cigarette smoke all over the hotel, though "no smoking" labels were everywhere. The only opening window could not be properly closed. But at the same time, it was not possible to ventilate, because the fried air smelled from the outside. It was not possible to regulate the water temperature in the shower, sometimes warm, sometimes cold. The bed was uncomfortable, and at night the sighing of the couple from the next room woke us up. The room had few electrical sockets.
6.3 Good
Pros: It is located in a very easy and nice location to find. The room was alright, bed was comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom was pre-set to a warm temperature to which we could not set warm or cold. It was leaking, and was not so clean. It was a bit smelly.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: New Matinal is in the central square of La Louviere, and adjacent to the underground car park and other amenities. The Hotel has been refurnished, and the rooms are themed and well appointed, but small. They have paid attention to sound insulation, and the only noise after hours is a buzz from the bar downstairs. The shower room is basic, with a small 'timed' shower cubicle but it is modern. The bed was comfortable with power available by the bedside. There is no air-conditioning. Breakfast is in the bar on the ground floor and is a good selection of local bakery, good fruit juices, fruit, and fresh good coffee from an espresso machine! Entry to the hotel is by key-card and is secure. There is no lift. Our room had opening windows which provided fresh air and no noise. This part of Belgium is very French, and English is not spoken everywhere. There is a good selection of restaurants in the town; Chinese, Greek, Brazilian, (see photo), Italian, Pizza, and 'local'.
Cons: I don't have any adverse comments. The Hotel is at Budget level, but everyone was helpful and pleasant, and the room was good value for that area.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was clean and good location.
Cons: Couldn’t open the window- too small and out if reach. Should be non smoking but you can still smell smoke No air con although unseasonably warm. Dark room, no bedside lamp just main light
