“Rooms were recently renovated, new mattresses and it was clean. It had a big garage to store our bikes.”
“Staying here was a happy accident, we asked for a room near the train station in Murten and got Hotel de la Gare but failed to notice that Sugiez is the NEXT train stop past Murten. There was a Murten Hotel de la Gare but it was closed....hmmm. the train agent helped us figure it out, we hopped back on and found this WONDERFUL place and little whistle stop that is full of amazing art all over the streets (check out the dragon by the Harley Davidson shop). The hotel is very nice and full of art as well, has a great bar and restaurant, and is just a hop and a skip from the train station. Get lost, stop in Sugiez and commute to Murten which is, by the way, amazing.”
