Staff were friendly and chatty. Nice breakfast thou replace the toaster.
Double bed was small and uncomfortable. Rooms that are not the superior rooms are dated.
The room(s) were spacious with extremely comfortable beds. Our room was the family room which consisted of a room with two good single beds, a large room with a double and a separate bathroom. All rooms were exceptionally clean and well presented. Bonus was the Hotel is part of a very good bar and restaurant. On our first evening, we tried a number of their tapas starters to nibble on whilst the family met up. Looking at the other food being presented, you will not be disappointed. The tapas were excellent. Breakfast was included in the price of our room and was well cooked and presented. Tea/Coffee is brought to your table and there were fruit juices and toast available to which you helped yourself. I had the full English breakfast each day I was there and it was scrumptious. (I'm pretty sure the chef was probably ex-forces as it was impeccable cooked and presented ! If he wasn't, he should have been!) There are no lifts in the building and our room was situated on the top floor. For anyone of normal fitness it should be no problem but consider the stairs if you have trouble walking. It's not a negative, but an observation.
Absolutely nothing! Seriously, despite being Morecambe at the end of September, we arrived during a mini-heatwave !! I can't even complain about the weather !! If I had to be picky, I had to make my own coffee in the room and there was no one to tuck me in at night. I couldn't find fault with the hotel or it's staff at all.
Spacious room and bathroom
No heating on. Stairs were quite challenging at my age.
Rather surprised to be told we were in the annexe which was up a lot of stairs. I would not have liked to carry a big suitcase up there. However, once up there it was quite a nice spacious suite, furniture a bit dated but space good.
No gluten free bread at breakfast despite notification beforehand.
Lack of parking Check out time of 1000 This is poor for a weekend away
