Overview
Abode Bombay is located in Colaba neighborhood, or Old Bombay area, and the heart of Mumbai, India. It’s a luxury boutique hotel and is the first of its kind in the city. The building the hotel is housed in was a part of the colonial days of Mumbai and has been restored to a modern version of its original design.
The hotel has 25 rooms that are small but tastefully decorated and very functional. There are features that are unique to the rooms, including handmade tiled flooring. There are views of Colaba from some of the rooms. For those who want to save a little money, there are rooms that have shared spaces.
Guests can order room service during specified hours. Mumbai has some excellent restaurants for guests to experience also. The Bombay Canteen is an Indian restaurant that serves creative dishes and cocktails. Dakshin Coastal has a casual atmosphere that is great for taking children along. The Sahib Room & Kipling Bar is an old-school type Indian restaurant serving colonial-style food.
Abode is not far from some of the main attractions in the area. Guests can visit the Andheri Sports Complex, Powai Lake, Sanjay Gandhi National Park, and the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre. There are a few train stations very close to the hotel also, so guests will be able to get anywhere quite easily.
