Good 6.0
Pros: The beach
Cons: No daily housekeeping due to COVID, I think the rooms should be cleaned 2X daily( due to COVID)...poor
Excellent 10.0
Pros: My overall stay was lovely. The children enjoyed the beach and the snails. The staff was very accommodating and the food was great. Oh bar services were everything. kudos
Cons: no complaints
Excellent 9.0
Pros: beautiful location, friendly staff, great food.
Good 7.0
Pros: It was an affordable beach front property near every attraction or entertainment on the 7 mile beach! Definitely clean the suites/kitchenette was fully equipped like your own home 🏡. They also had a great restaurant good food and drinks. Pool and jacuzzi always open also services from staff if anything was needed.
Cons: Although their staff was helpful with any questions or problems that would arise I felt they could be alittle more friendlier with the clients that book there.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very clean and spacious room. The staff were friendly and clear following of c19 guidance going on. The beach is lush and within steps from the rooms. I'll definitely stay here again. I came with my partner but this will also be fine for groups and families. Last year I stayed at an all inclusive resort nearby but this was definitely more enjoyable plus more cost effective. The breakfast is large and keeps you full! Thanks all.
Cons: N/a
Excellent 10.0
Staff is amazing from our housekeeper throughout the front desk. Small issue with our room upon arrival, changed us the very next day to an exceptionally nice room. Breakfast is very average , some days better than others. The Lunches were average as I didn't really expect anything more. Dinners were normally above average. Any of the shrimp and lobster dishes were excellent. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The new beach towels were awesome looking, however they were a micofiber and short. Beach was what I always expect in Negil. Clean and clear.
Excellent 10.0
Staff was extremely friendly and professional. The facility is well taken care of and staffed. The atmosphere is authentic Jamaican hospitality versus just another N. American style resort; which we find boring. The location is a great spot along the beach as well. This was our first stay and we will be returning soon.
Excellent 10.0
First we need to thank the owner, Gail Biggs Jackson and her staff for making this our second home. We have known the owner for many years now and can honestly say we are proud to be friends. Also to Moses, Cynthia, Trevor, Janice, Patrick, Stacey, Jacyntha, Dawn, Maurice, Colin, Cher, Pauline and all the staff, you are what makes the hotel special. We have now introduced over 25 people to the hotel and introduced ourselves to several people staying at the hotel who have become regulars. It can be a little overwhelming for some who are used to staying at a gated all inclusive resort. Negril beach is special as you are free to use the entire 5 mile beach walking from end to end and stopping anywhere along the way to visit, have drinks and great food. There are also locals on the beach which can be a big change for those who stay in a gated resort. We love the freedom, and the beautiful people of Jamaica. It is important to understand the difference before you go, but at least 90% of those who try it, become regulars on the beach. There was a large cold front from the US that caused clouds and rain for 3.5 days which is very rare, but the other 11 days were as usual, amazing. In all the years of traveling to Negril, we have had nothing but the best weather. It can rain for days on the north coast and be sunny every day on the south coast. We again stayed in the same two bedroom ocean front suite that we have enjoyed for many years. The resort is small and intimate with all rooms being super clean and comfortable. A full buffet breakfast is included with made to order omelettes, french toast, waffles etc. The food all over the country is the best in the islands without exception. The food at the Tree House is exceptional with a large menu, and of course like us you can go off property to experience many places to satisfy your tastes.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Amazing beach, great free breakfast, staff was amazing. Our room had a fridge/stove/microwave (many don't) and that was great. Big room, comfy bed, giant shower.
Cons: To get the (excellent) free breakfast and beach towels/lounge chairs, you have to wear an armband your whole stay - which makes you stand out as a tourist if you like venturing to town or off the beaten path. I felt like this made us a bigger target for locals who want to hassle you/sell you something/ask for money. So there's certainly a big trade off there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Treehouse resort has it all! I would surely stay there again. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts full of options/ jamaican dishes, a very comfortable (albeit small) well-equipped room- and to my delight- an outdoor rope chair for each room. The bed was quite cozy and the room A/C as frigid as you'd want to make it! I thought I would be disappointed with a "garden view" room opposed to ocean view- but the garden and grounds are so lovely and well kept, it was like being in the jungle right next to the beach! I especially loved waking up to groomed sand and well-kept beach loungers that are set out each morning. The staff were friendly and not overbearing, however it is diffucult sometimes to know who actually works there vs. who "says" they work there...
Cons: I am not a well seasoned international traveler, with this being my first trip out of the US. Admittedly, it took me many days to acclimate to the Jamaican way of "sales". I am used to approaching someone/a business for a service when I'm interested in it, but here, as with all other places I visited in Negril, the service providers chronically approached me and I needed to interact and politely decline, each day. This went for taxi, massage services, the restaurant, the gift shop, etc.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Tree House is a lovely place on the most beautiful beach in Jamaica. The staff is welcoming and kind, without being pandering. The rooms clean and adequate. I loved the fact that the place is not all-inclusive. There are taxis always available and we had fantastic meals in Negril. Also, this is the best value on the island.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: tHIS IS OUR FOURTH STAY AND IT ONLY GETS BETTER. yOGA ON A PADDLEBOARD. jAMAICANS ARE THE BEST AND THE BEST WAY TO ENJOY jAMAICA IS STAYING AT THE tREEHOUSE. Very relaxing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I liked the Tree House because of the great customer service as well as the great beach front location.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: I liked the breakfast, the grounds are well maintained, staff are pleasant, resort is sizable, some amenities and activities are free including yoga and paddle boarding. Location is at the far end of the beach before the all inclusives start, so a little quieter than mid-beach.
Cons: I didn't like that Kayak.com did not allow any space to enter a preference about the room I wanted. Kayak.com needs to have a note space to enter requests/preferences about a reservation. I called Kayak.com afterwards to note the request on my reservation but (surprise!) the request was never received by the hotel. This was the second time but also the last time that I book with Kayak.

Okay 4.0
Pros: Shirley Pinnock is a true asset to the resort. We also liked that the property offered free Covid testing.
Cons: Front desk staff are not very friendly, and they are the first people you encounter at the resort. They need to smile once in awhile. They act as if they are doing you a favor. Need more training. We would have liked to have had desert after dinner, but was told twice the kitchen was closed (doesn't make sense). This was our 10th visit to the property, and this time we noticed a lot more open prostitution on the property. I hope this isn't the norm.
Good 7.0
Pros: Stay was good, location was good, food was great.
Cons: Someone was smoking next door which caused us to change room due to sinus issues. Wifi and network was low.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Food good, hotel and grounds clean. Great price due to pandemic but would not pay more than $160 for any room on the 7 mile beach.
Cons: The room and rooms before smell musty. Otherwise all good
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Beachfront
Cons: Remove all of the cats! Very off putting! I have an aversion to cats and no consideration for people with allergies. This is not a good look.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: location, safety/security, cleanliness, privacy,
Cons: poor Wi-Fi from the room
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very clean and friendly staff. I loved everything about my stay there
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Calm peaceful atmosphere Beach is amazing
Cons: Needed more pillows Bathroom needed some upgrade
Excellent 10.0
My wife and I have been coming here for years, we have run into others who have done the same. The value for the dollar is fantastic! We find all of the staff to be friendly and ready to accommodate. Top management down makes sure folks have a superior experience.
Excellent 9.6
Lovely hotel very clean, food delicious, Staff lovely helpful, location beautiful, only one gripe. Curfew.
Excellent 9.2
We loved our room accommodations at Coco La Palm this stay. Food always Good. Location is Good. Resort Just can use some more comfortable Pool ans Beach Longe Chairs. Other than that it was a ok visit
Excellent 9.2
Like anywhere it depends on what you're looking for. But I found the resort to be meticulously clean, staff were super friendly and you couldn't get any nearer to the beach. The friendliness of the staff rubs off onto the guests and finding someone friendly to talk to was not an issue. My tip... get there fast, coz if they ever decide to redecorate, you'll be paying a fortune and it will be worth very penny.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice facility. Maintained everyday! Staff was wonderful and helpful!! Restaurant was very good. Had breakfast every day. Everyone who we met on the staff was always ready to help you with any issues/questions that you may have. Will definitely return
Cons: No negative comments.
Okay 4.8
It’s very old fashion no hair dryer just like some furniture thrown together so sorry to say I won’t be going back there.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Location
Okay 5.7
Pros: The beach is outside of your room.
Cons: I a long time returning guests there are no appreciations for my business
Excellent 8.0
Pros: location was excellent and the continental breakfast was good , with the option to upgrade breakfast instead and take 5.00 dollars off.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Loved how convenient hospitality was and the beach space was perfect. The food was phenomenal! Staff was always friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Our bed was rather firm which made it a somewhat restless sleep. Also the hallway tended to be loud and echoey late at night from other customers.
Excellent 9.7
Cons: Some staffs wear a little weird especially in the towel section at the beach.
Excellent 10.0
Wow just wow I would first like to mention that i was proposed to on the first night of our vacation which made the rest of our trip that much better. My fiance and I booked this resort about 2 months ago based off of pictures and reviews and i must say, the pictures do it no justice. Such a beautiful resort. We checked in very easily, 1-2-3, we even ended up with a free upgrade. Our room the junior suite was just fabulous the stairs leading up to your private suite with beautiful wooden doors made it feel very lofty. The balcony had 2 lounge chairs and another small table with two chairs to match, plenty of space. And the view from the balcony was phenomenal, lots of beautiful gardens and the beautiful Jamaica sky. On some mornings you would even here the birds chirping. The room itself was huge! very spacious with high wooden ceilings and fan. The bathroom was half the size of the room itself bed and couches were comfortable. Room was clean, fresh smelling, cool and inviting. Our cleaning lady did a fantastic job each day. We are beyond satisfied. The grounds were well kept just beautiful. The employees speak and go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable and feel at home. The food was delicious and affordable. My personal favorite was breakfast, the snapper fillet dish. So filling and well prepared. Happy Hour was phenomenal, we drank and ate like nobody's business it was so affordable and always open and available. The bartenders were awesome and so were all the waitresses. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Jazz Night & Reggae Night on the beach was wonderful talented local musicians came to the resort and put on great shows. The beach was open 24/7, there were lounge chairs always available and even lifeguards on duty who were there for whatever we needed. So many other bars and restaurants nearby so much entertainment! You'll never be bored. We were walking distance from Margarita Ville and The Jungle, great for partying.
Excellent 10.0
Coco La Palm is perfect. We stayed in a Junior Suite, Massive rom with sink, fridge etc. The bed was big, clean and very comfortable. Our room attendant (Teresha) was brilliant and looked after us very well. Loved the shower it's huge Marleys food on the beach was great, the shrimp bisque, jerk chicken and the BBQ ribs were fab. Everything was served by a smile; the staff really make the difference here. Charles was funny, polite and made the best Hummingbird cocktails ever. Mr Grant keeps the beach safe and takes no nonsense from anyone who causes a nuisence and Fabian the lifegaurd was chatty and friendly. Breakfast can take a while but this gives you time to take in the beauty of the mornings. The breakfasts were great, good size portions and all the tea and toast you want. I was stunned by the beauty of the grounds, they are the best I have stayed at in Jamaica, they are really well tended and there is a big variety of folage and flowers. There are lots of areas you can sit in private one I called 'Fairyland' I sneaked in there many times during my stay. There is also some neat artwork on some of the buildings. The beach in front of the hotel is fabulous, The hotel boast a large plot of sand and water, its lovely, swimming is perfect, the water is clear and sandy bottom fantastic I couldn't stay out of the sea.I have read some of the reviews and can't believe some of the petty things that some people complain about we were in heaven. Coco La Palm is a fantastic hotel and great value for money. Like everywhere else in Jamaica I get irked that everything is sold by the American dollar. I would really like to see everyone using Jamaican money in Jamaica, this would help to keep the money local. Yes of course people try to sell you stuff, you must remember that people have to earn money to live just like everyone else; its a hard life for some. We share what we can as we know how lucky we are to be able to afford to get a holiday.
Excellent 10.0
Stayed at Coco for a week during Holiday. Absolutely beautiful hotel and grounds, and the staff are extremely friendly. Check-in was easy and the bell service had us to our room with our luggage in a hurry. Our room was overlooking the garden pool, junior suite with 2 double beds, Room 416. All was well with the room save for the last night of our stay. Hate to have anything negative in my review, however on the last night of our stay there was an extreme smell of septic/sewer in our bathroom. We've stayed in a lot of places and have encountered this issue before, so never thought a lot about it. We did call the desk about it and they sent a maintenance man over, when he arrived he said it was an issue with a lot of the upper rooms when they get a heavy rain. We said okay and sent him on his way. The next morning at checkout I mentioned it to staff, as well as to our neighboring couple (also upstairs) and they say they never had the complaint before! Kind of odd. Anyway, it wouldn't deter me from returning, as I loved everything about the place. Pool was clean and warm, and often left for just ourselves, though I believe the hotel was at capacity, so this was always nice! Hot tub was nice, hot and relaxing. Beach vendors were always hanging around, but not a problem in the resort sun loungers. Food at both beach grill and Marley's was great and service was bar-none. Internet service throughout room and grounds was great, even down on the beach. No issues there at all. We hope to return some day, as most people who stay here do. Thanks Coco, please look into the toilet flange seal in the bathroom of room 416.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room was SUPER clean - every day. I have been at many hotels in Negril - this was the cleanest
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect as it was situated in the heart of seven mile beach which made walking to different establishments easy.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A great hotel right on seven-Mike beach. Staff are friendly and professional; food is great; the grounds are beautiful and everything is well maintained. A super spot.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Helpful staff throughout facility. Good restaurant with great breakfast discount. Beautiful grounds with 2 swimming pools and a large jacuzzi Beautiful beach, Coco does it right! Our third trip to Jamaica and our first stay at Coco. Would go again and recommend to friends,
Cons: Our safe had a glitch, but was taken care of QUICKLY. Small problems can become really irritating when they are not dealt with promptly. But our problem was addressed within the hour twice. More like a half hour. Thank you!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was wonderful. The atmosphere is safe and secure. The grounds are beautiful and it is right on 7-Mile Beach.
Cons: The food could have had more local flavor. The veggie pizza had cabbage and carrots, not something that I would expect on a vegetable pizza.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved the location, the hot tub, the super friendly staff, the beach, the newly renovated room, manager's cocktail party. We walked the whole beach and did not see a nicer looking place that wasn't an all-inclusive. Loved out stay and happy we booked here.
Cons: The food and drinks were a little expensive but not way off from other places on the beach.

Cons: The meals could be better the lunch we had was not as expected
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Good
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Pool, grounds upkeep, manager's demeanor, all staff's pleasant disposition. Nice location with all the amenities for a four star stay. Very clean an observing covid rules.
Cons: Each of the staff members were pleasant, kind and hospitable. They were quick to answer concerns and gave solutions. Our first room 104 was standard to my daughter and I and a bit small. When we requested an upgrade, it was quickly met and at no additional cost. They assisted with an almost immediate room change. We were upgraded to what the receptionist thought would be suitable, the honeymoon suite room 215. It was suitable and what we expected. The rooms, both, were very clean and smelled fresh. Filled with sufficient towels and toiletries for us both. The room was cleaned daily. The linen was of good quality and properly laid. The dining room was run in great observation to covid and pre-order and room dining was offered. We dined in observation in the dining hall an in the room. Suzanne was very professional and kind. The facility was properly maintained. Filled with lots of greenery. The gym was open and clean. Equiped with sufficient machine to get a workout accomplished. The manager was always available. She extended great hospitality and listened to all request, chips late at night and all concerns. Recommended for a stay and we will be back!
Okay 5.0
Pros: The breakfast was okay though without much varieties. The location is good too but the hotel need to upgrade in their facilities.

Pros: Idle Awhile is by far the best accommodation on seven mile beach. The property has a boutique feel and far exceeds other properties we saw while walking the beach. The suites are well appointed and outfitted for guest comfort and enjoyment, we had a 5 month old in tow and found the rooms to be very spacious with multiple lounge areas. The bed was super comfortable! The staff was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, we were always tended to with a smile. We ate on-site several times and enjoyed happy hour! The beach access was excellent and the water pristine. You have floats, paddle Boards and other water toys available for your use. We did a glass bottom boat snorkel trip right from the beach that ended up being one of our favorite experiences and was coordinated by Our lifeguard Odane. The front office staff were able to make reservations and accommodations on our behalf, everything top notch.
Cons: Nothing to say here, don’t miss an opportunity to Idle Awhile
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Relaxing
Cons: Noise outside of window when people talking.
Okay 4.6
Pros: The beach
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nice people, comfortable room, awesome beach and restaurant.
Cons: Updated water gear, like paddleboards, snorkels, floats...
Excellent 10.0
Pros: location, beachfront, clean
Cons: wifi weak, but no biggie
Good 7.0
Pros: Very friendly staff, and they made us feel welcome right away. The beach is marvellous, although quite some hustlers walking around, beware! Great to be able to use kayak, standup paddle, sport complex of couples swept away hotel, etc, .. but for this price, you can get absolutely better value for money elsewhere!
Cons: Price/quality

Pros: Rondel Village is my favorite place to stay in Negril and I come as often as I can! This trip was pleasure and work; WiFi is very dependable. This is truly my home away from home- thanks Rondel for only making it better year after year!
Cons: Doesn’t apply!

Pros: The service was great
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Enjoyed everything, room, beds, balcony, gardens, beach, staff, restaurant, all!!!
Excellent 10.0
We have stayed there several times and we will visit again. The location on the beach is excellent (in the middle of all the activities). We had an upper room on the beach side - very nice. The rooms have air conditioning, a small fridge (where it was nice to keep fruit / beer / water cool), and a nice balcony where we sat often. The cleaning service is incredibly efficient - I wonder how they can keep the rooms so clean with all the sand being dragged inside. We tried to be careful, but it's impossible after spending the whole day on the beach. At Rondel they were all very friendly and helpful, doing everything they could to make your holiday more enjoyable.
Excellent 10.0
A magical island that with its colors and smells gives beautiful emotions in particular in the beautiful Rondel village. A beautiful structure, colonial style houses with rooms all with very large terraces and remarkable cleanliness. Large bathroom and all immersed in a fantastic garden with wonderful plants well cared for and unique birds. Staff attentive to your every need because the Director does his job perfectly with great availability to customers. Located on the most beautiful beach in Jamaica and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, A POOL IN THE OCEAN. I recommend this wonderful property to anyone who wants to spend a wonderful stay in this incredible island.
Excellent 10.0
Good hotel with prices in line with other hotels in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent location, just steps from the beach. However, the hotel is divided into two blocks, one on the beach and the other across the street, so I recommend a room in the block on the beach. Security is ok, we didn't have any problem. Beautiful pool. We never had breakfast in the hotel so I can't evaluate, but we had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good (prawn and rice & peas skewers, shrimp pizza) even if the service is VERY SLOW, but wait for it in any restaurant in Jamaica breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Excellent 10.0
From arriving to clearing out, we experienced charitable & inviting benefit. Each part of staff in each corner of this exquisite accommodation are thoughtful, grinning, welcoming you at each minute. The offices are exceptionally great, as is the accommodation. They given great help after I ventured on a sea-urchin, quickly reaching the nearby Specialist & guaranteeing that I would be seen promptly upon entry. Which is precisely what happened!! Their eatery served amazing nourishment, the evening barman was an outright delight, energetically serving drinks, cocktails, beer & unending chat that kept us all upbeat & snickering till the late hours. We delighted in a unwinding & gigantically agreeable remain, met a few individuals who have been going each year from ranges of final 5 yrs to final 30yrs! We proposed to connect this upbeat band of rehash client & looking forward to seeing the staff and our unused companions as before long as conceivable.
Excellent 10.0
We stayed in a beach side villa, which was steps away from the beach. I must state our stay was a dream. This resort is located in the middle of Negril's seven mile beach. Which's provides a wonderful view as you bath in the calm blue warm waters of Negril. Also , if you love water sports this is the place to be, or just lay out on the beach and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. We had a great time. Rondel Village has a great staff that will attend to your every need, and housekeeping came by everyday. The villa's were spacious and clean, with all the comforts of home. Also, the food was great. Make sure you try the jerk chicken. Rondel Village is a place for people who want to enjoy the true beauty of Jamaica.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Comfortable bed, lovely grounds, friendly staff, white sand beach, warm, aqua waters. Room with a view of the ocean. Sunsets were gorgeous every night (we even saw the “green flash” twice!). Delicious jerk chicken at close by restaurants. The Cliff’s are 15 to 20 minutes away. Many beautiful views, bars and excellent restaurants, such as the Rock House, Push Cart and Catch a Rising Star. The bartenders, DelRoy and Ritchie, were attentive and engaging. Music from neighboring bar was fun to listen to on the beach during the day. They have a security man who stops traffic and watches us safely across the street. That is helpful since Jamaicans drive on the opposite side of the road then we do.
Cons: The breakfast eggs were over done. Music from neighboring bar kept me up. They charge a nominal fee for the safe key. I would expect it to come with the room. The towels are small and thin.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Rondel is the best place to stay along the beach. It has the amenities I want - chairs and a fun bar on the beach. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. The location is convenient as well. But the staff - Delroy, Donovan, Karl, Johno, Oman, all of the wait staff, cleaners and front desk staff are what sets Rondel apart from the rest!

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The rooms are really nice and spacious the staff is friendly and helpful, what more could you ask for really? All around just a really nice aesthetic... Oh and the food was good. And if you're not a fan of their food they're less than 10mins away from the town which is great. Also the staff really adhered to covid protocols which is a nice plus.
Cons: The pool is not very big and they requested a 150usd damage deposit for the stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything- there is nothing that was disliked or that needed improved 10 out of 10 all the way
Cons: The stay was wonderful, I booked this for friends as I know the property and they were overjoyed and will definitely stay again and will reccomend to anyone that asks. Bev UK🇬🇧
Excellent 10.0
Pros: EVERYTHING...........👍
Cons: The breakfast needs a little bit more on the free menu. And, NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR EVERYTHING. I would like to see some Stewed or Curry Chicken on the MENU.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff was amazing and accomodating, room was clean and well decorated (huge balcony overlooking the ocean) food and drinks was amazing and beach is right there! All in all, 10/10 experience.
Cons: Everything was great
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was great!
Okay 5.0
Pros: Staff was great, outside was good, beach and backyard was good.
Cons: Room leak when it rain, TV didn’t work on the final night, and we didn’t not get any compensation for the inconvenience, that was very bad.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Wonderful stay at Sandy haven I’m a resident in Jamaica, and have stayed at most of the properties in negril.I was celebrating my 60th bday the manager and staff went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay and my birthday.
Excellent 10.0
We truly enjoyed our stay at Sandy Haven! The location on the beach was gorgeous. The staff was kind and accommodating. Compared to the other hotels we researched in Negril, once we arrived, we can definitively say that we made the right choice. We look forward to our return.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Relatively new property. Modern amenities. Large room. Big balcony. Renovated. Great beach bar Restaurant was great! Personalized welcome. Great location on 7 mile.
Cons: Room could use more cleaning (floorboards and walls in our room needed a bit of love). Still not nearly as bad as other properties we've stayed in Negril. However, as a "luxury boutique" a few cleanliness matters should be addressed (at least for room 232.) "Oceanview" was just a partial view of the ocean. This could be better explained in the description. I booked "superior oceanview" not "superior *partial* oceanview."
Good 6.5
Pros: the location was great! Right on the beach in the heart of Negril's 7-mile beach. There is a place to rent bikes/scooters right across the street and there are tons of restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: unfortunately, the staff was really bad. Very poor customer service, not friendly, and at times down-right rude. It really detracted from our stay and we would not return to this resort as a result. We would try one of the dozens of other hotels nearby, which are comparable in cost.
Okay 4.5
Pros: good location, rooms
Cons: continental bfast (included on daily price) was 4 cold toasts two pieces of butter and jelly and thats all! reception staff extremely slow and not helpful with tourist info, room was not available upon check in, when asked how could i join a sailboat cruise the recepcionist simply stated "i dont know"..restaurant service was very poor and unfortunately the beer was never cold enough... thats it. not a good experience for the price ($300 a night!)

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Excellent location at the best spot of Negril’s beach. Great service. The quality of the food was very good. I liked the workout facilities and all the water sports. The tropical landscape was mature and fabulous. We lucked out and had the best beach party helping the resort celebrate its 23rd anniversary.
Cons: The property could use a little update in the rooms and pathways. The beach grill did not appear very healthy or attractive. The swim up bar- pool also seemed dated and potentially dirty. I avoided this areas of the resort.
Good 7.0
Pros: Staff was great. Beaches were clean. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good
Cons: additional omelet station would have been helpful. more local foods would have been nice as well, local music pumping through speakers everywhere, but no local foods! Don't get me in mood and disappoint me
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The food, facilities and staff were amazing!
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The beach (although that is hardly something the hotel can take credit for). The fact there are lots of adorable stray kittens on the property who, for the most part, look well cared for. Room service was good, the bedrooms are the only part of the property they could keep clean - housekeeping in general seemed to be most competent staff in the place.
Cons: Maybe this hotel was nice a few years ago, but these days saying it is tired would be an understatment. The restaurants, whilst they try to look smart are something of a by-gone era. The food is average save for the breakfast (which was terrible). Some staff excel but the majority are disinterested and judging by the crowd this place attracts, I can see why. The people may have been the worst part of the experience, if you have ever seen the UK TV show "Benidorm", it might help you decide if this place is for you. More importantly, the hotel was filthy. We never saw a single person cleaning the exterior areas and the sunloungers were so grotty we actually bought disinfectant and cleaned them ourselves. Our room, whilst clean (the housekeepers were good) was a hut with no glass, so you could hear the villa underneath take a shower and much much more. Overall, I am gutted I spent so much money staying here. The price does not match the property and if wasn't for the kittens and beautiful beach, I probably would have checked out as soon as I arrived.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location was great! Room was always cleaned to a high standard ( thanks Allison). Staff in general were attentive and friendly barring a few. Thanks to Nicoy for his drink service beachside (ur a legend mate!). Couples Swept away definitely operate at a high standard and was worth every pound!
Cons: It would have lovely to have more jamaican dishes on the menu. Having said that the ladies in the Palm restaurant delivered exceptional service (Georgia Jennifer , Ashley and Leanne) thanks ladies for the laughs too! Our spa experience was great but it would have been lovely to have more treatment options available
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All inclusive done right. Seriously Great food, easy going staff and laid back Jamaican atmosphere is on point.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Proximity to beautiful beach and beach chairs and shaded areas. Food was very good. Staff very friendly.
Cons: Mostly everything was great. The "premium" liquors were unavailable and if available after walking to 2 or 3 bars to get a good drink, the bartenders would make a VERY weak cocktail. This is unacceptable when we expected premium liquor drinks. All week!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved our stay. the people are incredible! we cannot imagine going anywhere else and we are planning again for next year!
Cons: The hotel was wonderful! We have no complaints. many activities, clean rooms, wonderful service.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: the staff was friendly, amazing and attentive. never had an empty cup or even to request things that were needed. great people great food fun activities.
Cons: none
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was our second trip to Couples Swept Away. It was a great resort. The clientele was younger this time which is good. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an adults only all inclusive.
Excellent 10.0
Couples Negril is the best. There was not one thing we didn't like about this place. They picked you up from the airport and everyone was extremely nice to you. The food was fantastic. The resort was clean. This place is a 5 stars all the way. We would definitely go back again. A wonderfully comfortable bed, stylish bathroom and complimentary mini bar. The beach was absolutely beautiful, with staff working hard to ensure it was pristine every day. Definitely look upon our time at Couples Negril with a smile on my face, and I hope to return in the future.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Awesome entertainment committee headed by Carlos and his crew-Richard, Matthew, Adam, Alexis, Shanice and Antoinette. Played volleyball everyday catamaran sunset cruises and piano bar and dancing the night away everyday. Came home refreshed!
Cons: Food was so-so. Breakfast buffet at The Palms smelled ok but never tasted good. Best meals were at Feathers and Lemongrass-shrimp pad Thai was my favorite, however it was not spicy at all.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Just returned from a visit 4/1-4/6/17 and were thoroughly impressed with the resort. Food was way better than other resorts, and the grounds are spread out enough that it never felt crowded. Always was able to find a beach chair in the shade, even when we got to the beach at 11 am. Always found a seat at one of the bars, hardly waited for drinks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Had the atrium suite and didn't miss the tv at all. Beach is raked every night and the grounds are meticulously kept. Already planning to go back!
Cons: Food at the cabana and sea grape took a little long to get. I can't even believe I'm complaining about this.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is one of the best resorts I've ever been in. The food was delicious, the alcohol was yummy & unlimited, the staff was great & very friendly, and the experiences unforgettable. This is a great resort for couples. My husband and I celebrated our birthdays and honeymoon. The staff made all of these occasions unforgettable. We especially liked the free tennis lessons, snorkeling, catamaran ride, piano bar, beach party and day and night events (music bands, bonfire, mixology class, couple massage class, etc).
Cons: The only major issue we had was with the plumbing in our room, especially with the toilet, but it was fixed immediately.

Good 7.0
Pros: Beds were comfy. The food was very good.
Cons: They did not clean room every day
Good 6.0
Pros: We really liked the position, in the middle od 7 mile beach. Also small "private" beach with iconic palms was nice.
Cons: We did not like the room and the view. Photos of the room are made on purpous. Room was supersmall and from pics we expected something more romantic and cozy for our honeymoon. "View" was very bad and there was noise from the crowded road.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Anything else
Cons: Shower was only cold, and no water came out of it. 2 of our t-shirts was stolen, while the staff was looking out for our bag (not saying it was them at all, they were very friendly)
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Everything
Cons: Everything good
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The food was awesome great oxtail and pork chops. The place was very clean. Bedroom CLEAN and accommodating. Great stay definitely will be back
Cons: The parking being over by the garden view but that wasn’t much of a big deal.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Cleanliness and comfortable.
Cons: Poor internet and TV not working.
Excellent 10.0
Staff, food, environment absolutely amazing I enjoyed my stay, and will definitely visit again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: the staff at white sands is really what always makes my stay an absolute pleasure. Extremely accommodating and friendly.... tony and Paul down at the bar are great and keep the red stripe nice and cold. Beautiful beachfront lounging, clean and comfortable rooms and great overall experience
Good 7.7
Pros: Love Ella at the front desk, majority of the staff were friendly. One part of the hotel on the beach the other side is not. Twin beds in rooms with air conditioning, micro fridge and hot water. There are no televisions in the rooms. Excellent wifi strength throughout the entire property. Bed and linen was clean and comfortable. Worth the cost of the stay.
Cons: The cafe on site was not good and the staff was not certain on the currency exchange rates and could've been more manner able. Older property but kept nicely. Warm-hot water in bathroom but pressure varied. No form of entertainment on site. Security was not always present on both sides or property.

Pros: Beach was very nice. Restaurant staff was very pleasant. Bathroom was updated and clean.
Cons: Room located at the top of unsturdy wooden spiral staircase when i voiced my concern to front desk, i was told "i should've said something during check in". Room had a very unpleasant smell and outdated.. Bed extremely firm which caused back pain to myself and fiance. The food is not good yet overpriced.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved this property! It was exactly what we what we wanted and needed! We will return to this quaint hotel with wonderful service and food again. The best beach in Negril.
Cons: This was not the hotel’s fault, but our trip was delayed by one day because we did not have a negative Covid test. Never use Bookings taxi services. I canceled my taxi that I booked both by a phone call and online and I just got my credit card bill and yes I was charged for a taxi ride. Instead, go thru a hotel, any hotel and book a taxi through their local people.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location and decent breakfast, cool style of the hotel
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel is on the beach and the ocean front rooms are best!
Cons: Nothing to dislike!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast is so nice. I love how close your room is to the beach and all the little palm trees that give you shade if you want it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Boutique hotel on seven mile beach that treats their guest as family. You know you hit the jackpot when you meet returning guest that have been coming for years. Shout out to the front desk, housekeeping, beach attendees and fantastic restaurant staff and kitchen staff. Representation starts from the top thank you Sophie and Daniel for doing an awesome!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The property is beautiful, well-maintained. Gorgeous location on the beach. Love the palm trees, the shade, access to everything. Great beach chairs and amenities. Awesome Massage hut on the beach, and staff very accommodating.
Cons: The beds were pretty small. I was expecting queens, not doubles. Also, our room must have backed up to the kitchen or some sort of workspace because there was lots of staff noise. Especially in the evenings. Luckily, with the air condition and fans it helped drown it out. Next time will request an ocean view instead of a Gardenview and maybe that will help.
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff was very friendly, food was good, beds were super comfy, my kids were able to be in the same room with us as opposed to major hotels that insist that 5 persons cannot stay in one room even if kids are under age.
Cons: Thought that breakfast was included in the booking fee

Love the property and staff is always welcoming. Need upgraded lunch abd dinner options. Get tired of eating the same thing all the time and the food is always cold
Excellent 10.0
We Always love the Royalton property just need better lunch and dinner options
Excellent 10.0
LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT ROYALTON PROPERTY. THE FOOD WAS JUST COLD WITH NO FLAVOR at all times
Excellent 10.0
We loved everything about the Royalton property. Only thing the Food can be made with at least food warmers to keep the food hot. Eating cold food is not good
Excellent 8.4
Coming to the Royalton is pretty standard and usually a top pick if I’m in the negril area looking for a couple night stay at all inclusive property. Usually clean , food is alright , depending on the restaurant… rooms are spacious with good views. Will continue to return. I think the prices is a little too high for what you get but it’s ok!
Excellent 8.0
couldn’t fault the staff once but very aimed at diamond club as most facilities are solely for the diamond club
Okay 4.0
Not good service the place not too clean
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our concierge staff Member lucine. LUCINE helped us arrange our activities and plans.
Cons: More gourmet Jamaican cultural dishes or fusion
Good 7.1
Pros: Great location, beach is beautiful.
Cons: Resort Felt tired needing a lick of paint or good clean in places - particularly around water park. Dirty sun beds yet sandals further up the beach had soft bmats for sun beds which we didn’t. Customer service not great. We had a small problem with room and it took 3 days and 4 requests to get it resolved. Also (minor point) the booking advising premium drinks provided in the in-room bar. With 2 small children we have to get them to bed early and it’s nice to relax with a drink. The hotel refused to honour this and only provided very cheap local drinks. We had to go to main bar to get decent drinks. Food not that great and it became a running joke if we would get drink or food we ordered as at least 50% of the time it was not what we ordered. It’s not a cheap place to stay and didn’t feel value for money. We stayed at beaches Turks and Caicos last year - if you want our advice, pay the extra and go there! Sadly we will not return to beaches Negril nor recommend it to anyone we know.
Excellent 10.0
Treated my sister for mother's day and took the kids. Awesome service, the food was fantastic and with a family of picky eaters, the varied dining options were ideal. Loved the beach, and the waterslides with splash deck were a hit with the kids. Kimono's is one of the more popular and fun dining options, however this offers limited seating.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff were really helpful and friendly. Great service. Food was exceptional
Cons: The beds could of been softer. Also room and bathroom lighting could be brighter.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: I liked the friendly and courteous staff..I liked that they followed the covid protocol to the Tee.. I liked the variety of drinks served and the pleasant personality of the Bartender and Host. The staff indeed went the extra mile.
Cons: The mention of all inclusive was very under played it was more like a bed and breakfast that offered 3 limited meals..If it wasn't for the exceptional staff from the front desk to the security bartender and even lifeguard I would have left from the moment was told no food was availablefor me when i checked in. I was very disappointed as the property has so much potential and is an ideal location. Was not worth what i paid. There was no entertainment the two nights I stayed it was extremely boring there is a difference between relax environment and boring environment.

Cons: Treatment from people who worked there. Mean and bossy behaviors especially. Did not like this at all!! Will not come back there to vaccation again.Bad experience!!!!!!!

Pros: The trees and the grapes....
Cons: The mosquitoes were horrible. Also being there 3 weeks the food started to repeat. It became very boring.

Pros: Meal preparation was good and staffs were extremely pleasant.
Cons: Room facilities could be more up to an all inclusive.

The caribbean sea is only a few minutes away, you just have to cross the street and you are there. It is a perfect location. I stayed in likle 2 and likle 3. The Likle 2 was small and cosy. You have your own balcony but the bathroom is to be shared. The Likle 3 however, was like your own home, you have your own bathroom, kitchen, living room and balcony. The cooks in the kitchen were amazing at making healthy meals and nourishing my body while on vacation. I love that they do not serve an over loaded foods. You get the right serving with a lot more vegetable on your plate than starch. The staffs were polite and helpful. I am so glad I found this place. I will return next time here. Unfortunately the street noise also comes in, through the window mesh. But I still love this hotel.
