Needs maintenance and cleanness
Bathroom needs repair, towels. Coffee cups are not cleaned. Dirty floor
The best location for business trip and if you have a plan to visit liberty island.
My room never have any outside light because it was surrounded by tall building and it feels like night all day.
Will be a returning guest.
Great hotel, would definitely stay there again. Very clean, and the staff was very accommodating.
No pool. Absolutely no parking. (Do not count on finding parking near by or on the streets). They told me they had a deal with the parking garage next door and when I got there they did not accept my car because "they were full" so I had to run around looking for an open parking and take a cab back to the hotel afterwards.
Great on the surface!
The welcome was warm and helpful. I even got an upgrade!
At first glance, the room looked amazing! The modern amenities and style were welcoming, but when I looked a little deeper it was hard to ignore the fact that the wear and tear of the room was taking its toll. The wood around the sink was badly warped. The sink didn't drain properly. The floor was cheap. The faux-wood laminate was warped and felt greasy under my feet.
Doesn't look anything like the pictures - seedy!
The staff was very friendly and pleasant
The pictures online were nothing like what the hotel really looks like. The lobby is ok but past that it's very seedy. It should be rated no more than two stars. Outside of the rooms, I was on the fourth floor, there's no air conditioning and it's all torn up in the hallways on the way to the elevator. The room was very basic. I would never stay here again.
Not a 4 star
staff was nice
Not much first off tried to charge me twice for the room had to have the manager out to get it straight even with documentation the room needed some work remote didn't work had to stuff a wash cloth in the tub to stop the drain at midnight the maintenance guy wok me up to ask if the AC was working I travel for buisness 300 days a year some nicer than others I would put this one close to the bottom parking was also an issue told me they had an association with a garage a block away true but it Didn't take full size vehicles such as a suburban so I was on my own a mile or to away all in all I guess I tried to save a few $$$ wasn't what I expected
we were upgraded which was super nice. Possibly the shortest building on Wall Street, so no great views" but room was clean, hallways not so much. Also the shower doesn't really close which was quite odd.
Shower, cleanliness Of hotel (not room), and all of the writings they had for guests were in poor and broken English.
Nothing fancy, gets job done
Nothing fancy. Clean rooms .Microwave in each room.
Adding a take-out food service menu
was not the same place shown in photos
The general disposition of the front desk staff. Everyone was exceptionally pleasant without being condescending.
The sanitation conditions of this hotel are deplorable. I found pubic hairs all over the bathroom (fixtures, floor, walls), the hardwood floor was sticky, and the walls themselves we're in very poor repair - covered in marks scratches, gashes, etc. I brought this information to the front desk and was put in a "suite" which is a room with identical conditions, but a separate kitchen space. I had one short-and-curly at eye level in my shower - which remained plainly and visibly stuck to the wall for the 4 day duration of my stay. The toilet stopped flushing on my first day. The floors are pitched and uneven, the elevator is barely functional. The corridors do not pass ADA standards. The room doors look like they were salvaged from several other buildings and don't work properly - my room door had to be pulled shut whenever I left the room. All in all I have to say this was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. I've stayed in crappy motels that weren't much better (still better) but there, I know what I was getting into and was paying an appropriate price for the level of facility. I feel that the descriptions for this hotel are misleading and deceptive, and I would never stay in this hotel again - ever.
Upgraded, very friendly
Great location as a base for exploring New York. Very very helpful staff .
The air fresheners in the lifts were very strong smelling
Excellent location for South Street Seaport, Brooklyn Bridge and a short walk to Statue of Liberty departure point and Staten Island Ferry port. Hotel was very clean, modern facilities, good minibar and breakfast facilities - we often had this to ourselves in the morning. Would be excellent for business travellers, and was brilliant for us as tourists to explore the lower area of Manhattan.
Quiet area during the evening, and extremely quiet at weekends when financial district is closed. Seaport provides many bars and restaurants, but there are fewer outside of this area.
It was a quiet area with a minimum of traffic noise. The rooms were quite big and I like the kitchenpart a lot.
We had problems with bathtube and the staff ought to have changed lightbulbs that were not working.
It's good location.
It's high price.
Very close to South Seaport and quite close to subway stations. Stayed for 4 nights and had no complaints. The financial district is very quite at night-time and during weekends (expect for South Seaport).
The room was comfortable. Bed firm. Lots of storage space. Free Wifi and also there is a computer near the reception which guest can use. Did not use the bar or dining room. Very quiet. Complimentary coffee provided. Staff were friendly. 10 mins from Wall Street subway.
We thought South Street Seaport would be lively in the evening but the shopping mall opened late in the morning and closed at around 6pm. Even the restaurants were closed!
Good location near Wall Street, Good size rooms, Clean, Modern Deco, Free Internet access, Staff very friendly and helpful
Shower was shabby, and generally the hotel did not feel very well put together
Very friendly & accomodating staff. Upgraded to suite on check-in due to longer stay & availability. Excellent location in lower Manahattan.
it's to expensive, far from city center, the breakfast's poor, better not to pay and not have breakfast
