Hotel Lafayette

The hotel staff here were really friendly and helpful. A real bonus was having tea and coffee making facilities, which many hotels in Nice do not have. The location is excellent - near the old town, excellent shopping and an easy walk to the beach. There was a safe in the room but no mini bar or fridge. We paid a little extra for a larger room which was worth the extra money and had a large window facing over the street across one corner, making the room nice and light. Air conditioning worked well. The breakfast room was a little cramped but adequate, as were the breakfasts. The bed was reasonably comfortable.

The hotel was located in a convenient location; nice and helpful staff; coffee and tea making facilities in room. Good Wifi. Good A/C, so perfect for the hot weather.

Hotel's parking lots are tiny, our car couldn't fit, but there is a public parking nearby. Our drain in the shower was clogged, so water overflowed, had to clean up the drain ourselves.

Parking facility makes it attractive. Altough the parking places are very narrow. the owner was very friendly and helpfull. Location is very close to the shopping street and to the old town

Location is a bit challenging to get to by car because of the one way street system, but the hotel cannot do anything about this
