Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub.This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also,our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim.All in all,This hotel needs revamping.On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice.

Pros: Wonderful wonderful staff and location location location. The rooms were well appointed and in a style that suited the hotel. The balcony was a great place to get a lovely view of the sea. The rooms were larger then most European hotel rooms and air conditioned which made it very comfortable in the August heat. The public areas and dining rooms were very comfortable and charming. Views from the hotel room were spectacular looking out over the city and the mediterranean. The rooms were sizable and comfortable. The hotel had the charm of a European luxury hotel. Pros: The hotel staff were very nice and provided lots of advice on how to move around, what to visit etc. Room was very clean. There is no carpet and it is all white tile which made it look very bright and clean. The sea view and sunrise in the morning is worth every penny spent. We had to make a number of reservations (other hotelsd, golf clubs, business meeting, taxis and hotels and the reception staff simply said ''leave it to us'' Upon return to the hotel everything was perfectly arranged.The 8th floor bar has a good selection of drinks. .I would definitely recommend this hotel and will personally stay there agin on my next trip to nice nice.
