Very charming old hotel
No fridge in room. Lack of self parking.
Old character and charm
the location of the hotel and the uniqueness of the building.
they immediately charged 100.00 on my credit card for incidentals even though I charged nothing to my room, and it will take 72 hours to remove the charges from mycredit card.
Bathroom door was so darn heavy it was way to difficult to close. Not enough channels on tv free and was not happy to have to pay for parking
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect to access many amenities in downtown Omaha, the riverfront, and the Old Market.
Cleaning prior to our arrival seemed cursory. Front desk staff did not look up from their computer to greet us at the counter for a couple of minutes while they worked on something else.
Formerly the Aquila Court Building, built by Chester Cook in 1923, The Magnolia Hotel in downtown Omaha, Nebraska resides near many of the area's finest attractions, including The historic Old Market, the Orpheum Theatre, Omaha Children's Museum, Holland Performing Arts Center, Joslyn Art Museum, and the Century Link Omaha. Named to the National Register of Historic places in 1974, Magnolia Hotel, Omaha is also located near all major corporate headquarters and offices in downtown. Based on the Bargello, a palace in Florence, Italy, the corporate lodging hotel was built in homage to Chester's father Aquila. The faces of George and Aquila Cook can still be seen on the front of the boutique hotel's building today.
