Reception people were friendly, breakfast was good, the room was clean, and being so close to the train station is very convenient.
I had to carry my own bags upstairs, which makes it difficult for older people or people with certain problems.
Very convenient for an overnight stay, being directly opposite the railway station and with car hire just round the corner.
The hot water was only just warm - not good for a soak in a hot bath!
Very close to train station - decor a little tired in the rooms, but clean. Lovely common areas and friendly staff.
the location was excellent as it was opposite the train station. Bedroom and bathroom and public areas were clean and tidy. Quirky hotel but adequate for our short two night stay.
Breakfast was fairly basic, could have done with some fruit and yoghurt.
Great location across from the train station though not that central. Near good recommended restaurants. Guy manning reception was a bit of a character though had no English. Nice spacious communal areas downstairs.
Had no lift & I was up on the third floor despite having asked for a room on a lower floor for physiological reasons. Corridors were in darkness, had to press button to light it. Ensuite bedroom very dated, dowdy & dusty, was glad to spending only 1 night there. Purely functional reason to stay. Breakfast minimilistic, not a buffet but basic fare pre set out on trays for guests. It wasn't just rated 2* for nothing.
Very close to railway station; clean, comfortable room; friendly staff; simple, nice breakfast
Room comfortable, adequately furnished - no frills included or needed. Simple, pleasant breakfast on patio (July) Very handy for early departure from station.
Friendly staff Good location - opposite the train station
Excellent location. Basic facilities and quite old fashioned decor (or is that shabby chic?) but very clean and excellent value for money. Breakfast was good - plenty coffee, croissant and baguette.
Because opposite the train station ,some day and night noise .
