The house is a heritage building the original in Prince Rupert and over a hundred years old. It is querky but of interest. The hostess shares the heritage of the building with guests and also performs a short extract from her one woman show on Edith Piaf which is entertaining.
The building is in need of some renovation but this is the responsibility of the local authority who have plans to turn the house in to a museum. Money issues have meant they are behind with the programme.
Unrivalled breakfast, all prepared by Coleen who is a gifted host. Her little breakfast show was truly nice. Short and entertaining. The fact that our breakfast took 2.5 hours was entirely our fault because we had so much good talking with Coleen and the other guests.
The city of Prince Rupert owns this wonderful property. However, they do not take good care of it. In fact it seems an act of ignorance and hoszrical irresponsibility to let this unique heritage landmark exposed to the deterioration of time. Please wake up City.
Extraordinary host. We had to leave before breakfast was served but she prepared a fantastic lunch bag for us. The B&B is located in a beautiful historic building
A wonderful hostess! Breakfast was exceptional. A very entertaining stay and would be back again!
Colleen was an interesting albeit slightly eccentric person.
Property was run down and cluttered. Bedroom was small.
