Pros:the Budget counter in Terrace BC closes at 11 and our flight was delayed until midnight. The lovely young woman at the counter stayed for us and was friendly and smiling. It made a great difference in our trip. Please tell her she’s wonderful. I wish I remembered her name—maybe Mikaela?
8.0 Very good
Pros:Left front brakes do NOT work Extremely dangerous on partially icy roads
4 locations in Prince Rupert
Pros:the staff was freindly. the location is good
Cons:the car was smaller for 4 adults with our suitcases. in the office they said this is as according our category, but i think it was the smallest one.
Pros:This 2016 Mazda 3 SUV was a dream, to drive. Maybe, it is because most of my vehicles were trucks and big rigs like diesel pushers. Though I do not know what the possible final price, the original written agreed on price was attractive. I was very fortunate being a day late to even able to have this rental.
Cons:The dear lady agent was a little fuzzy on the start instruction. Like none. Though, being somewhat hearing impaired, maybe, I did not hear her. This was a keyless car which the manual did not seem to be very clear. Once, I called her on the phone, the instruction was not only simple but straightforward.
Pros:The agent at pickup, the ease of the rental process at pickup, the vehicle.
Cons:I reserved the vehicle for 4 days. During the first day my itinerary changed and I did not need it. I was given two local numbers to call, a cell and a landline, both with voicemail. I called 5 times leaving two voicemails asking if I could return the vehicle early. No one returned my call until an hour before the vehicle was due back. I would like Hertz to contact me to discuss a financial settlement.
