Pros: Fantastic! Lagoon Breeze is one of our new favourite places to stay. Facilities are perfect and staff really helpful. Hope to stay again soon.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great breakfast on first day. Free bicycles were handy. Host was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Breakfast included each day would have been great.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The Resort was ideally situated about halfway from Avarua to Muri. Very quiet and peaceful set in beautiful surroundings. The apartment had everything you wanted and the pool was spotlessly clean and refreshing. Rob and Anna were lovely hosts and Angel was a superb housekeeper and of course not forgetting Lulu the dog.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind that you don’t expect in Rarotonga eg roosters!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved everything about our stay here at Day Dreamer resort. Arriving in the middle of the night was easy and with great communication form Anna and Rob we found our key and could get in our unit with no trouble at all. We loved that Anna and Rob let us use their bikes to cycle around the Island, which is great and helped us save money. We loved meeting Lulu and talking with Anna and Rob about the Island and what to do. We had a great time and would return in a heart beat. Loved our short stay here at Day Dreamer Island.
Cons: Nothing, it was all great
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The location was great as it is a fairly quiet area, however, is a wee walk to the nearest shop, restaurant and bar - so not ideal in the dark. The facilities are awesome. There are two bikes available to guests to use. The outside / pool / BBQ area are just gorgeous! Anna and Rob were very friendly and helpful. The unit itself is a little dated, however, was clean and VERY well equipped. It was great to have the option of cooking a home cooked meal as we were on a family holiday with our 3 year old son. The bed is HUGE and very comfortable. The resort itself is very small. I think there were 6 rooms, which meant you never felt crowded. We were able to sit on the loungers outside our room and not feel like we were overlooked at all. Tip: If you need a babysitter, the cleaner, Angel, is always willing to babysit at the resort.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely small intimate location. Friendly helpful hosts. Would highly recommend
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The property is beautifully laid out with a lovely pool and bbq area, including new couches and loungers, and mood lighting at night. Each unit has it's own outdoor area, and has everything you need inside - not to mention clean and comfortable. Anna and Rob are fabulous hosts, and are full of useful information about Rarotonga to make your stay even better.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rob and Anna are wonderful hosts, the grounds are beautifully kept and Angel kept the unit lovely and clean.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The communication from Anna and Rob was excellent and started immediately after booking. We were arriving late on a Sunday but that was no issue at all, the instructions given to find and access our unit was clear and true to their word - we were even given a complimentary breakfast for our first morning because they realised we would not have had the time to prepare something for ourselves. The whole facility was spotless and there wasn't one thing that we needed because everything was there! The unit we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and inviting. As a small family we thoroughly recommend the Daydreamer, should you wish to want the option to self-cater or not.

Pros: We loved the beachfront. We could snorkel off the beach at the resort and the snorkelling was quite good when the tide was in. The sunsets were magnificent.
Cons: The traffic noise especially at night as I am a light sleeper. Not a lot of restaurants close by. There is a bus stop right outside but easier if you have your own car.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic resort. The grounds are gorgeous -- meticulously kept -- and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful and the rooms had everything we needed. Definitely go for a beachfront room if you can. It's worth it.
Cons: It would be nice if there was a small beachfront bar or restaurant, but there were plenty of beachfront chairs and there was no issue taking drinks from the restaurant and bar from the center of the resort to the beach. The food was decent, but more healthy options -- such as grilled fish and rice -- would be fantastic.
Okay 5.8
Pros: The outdoor area was attractive especially the gardens around the pool area.
Cons: All eight 2-bedroom pool side suites (4 upstairs 4 downstairs) are located by the main road traffic. It was noisy & annoying - opposite to the vibe I wanted from my Cook Island experience. The reception desk response was to wear earplugs. They were not helpful. There were many items that needed attention 1. loose door entrance handle 2. loose electrical socket in bathroom 3. unaligned toilet door - has to be forcefully slam for it to shut 4. screechy sliding doors 5. missing louvre in bedroom 6. no dish rack to dry dishes 7. no netting over long bathroom window to keep out mosquitos. And you can’t leave bathroom window open when you go out as there’s no security latch & anyone could climb through it easily. I gave a list of these things to reception on my 2nd day. Nothing was done; not even the screechy sliding door. I stayed in No 32 upstairs 2 bedroom poolside suite. Be warned about the traffic noise. They say the windows are double glazed - well it doesn’t make a dent on the disturbance of traffic.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Lovely staff and facilities
Cons: Rooms were quite noisy
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Room 6...the best. Excellent ocean view and access. All staff..dining room, bar, cleaning..so helpful. And front desk staff...exceptional. Great location..quiet but easy access to town and Muri area. Food excellent.
Cons: The bed!! Sooo soft. Mattress very thick but no firmness. Needs replacement!!!! My only complaint.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The beach front location! Definitely worth spending the money on the beach front rooms. There was a nice sandy beach and large lawn area, plenty of chairs and a lovely area for swimming which was clear of coral and rocks and white soft sand. The gentleman who did the breakfast service was a delight!
Cons: Staff at front desk weren't overly helpful when we asked for assistance to book a restaurant. Possibly not a place to go if you wanted any kind of night life
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Continental breakfast was nice, staff were lovely, rooms were okay & the grounds exceeded expectations - beautiful gardens, restaurant & pools.
Cons: Bathroom could do with an upgrade but it was okay-- met expectations.

Excellent 9.2
Pros: Comfortable room with good facilities. Beach area is beautiful and enjoyed having access to kayaks and snorkelling gear. Friendly hosts
Cons: It would have been great to have an air conditioned room.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Close to beach and good restaurants
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The villa we got was perfect! The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed and more. The living room was great and comfortable. It was a very relaxed feel throughout. The beach was just a very short stroll away - hammocks and lounge chairs!!! Great to watch the sunset or just have an afternoon nap! Location: close to some very nice restaurants and a great bakery! Matt and Adele are great hosts - great knowledge handed to us as first-timers to the Island. We'll be back! THANK YOU!!!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Adele and Matt are lovely hosts and happy to chat or help with local advice. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, except the oven wasn't working which meant cooking options were restricted. Good sized fridge. It's a short walk to the beach for beautifully warm swimming/snorkelling, and their swing seat on the beach is a perfect sunset spot. A scooter is handy for transport as it's a way from the main centre, but you need a full motorcycle license to hire. Otherwise there is a bus once an hour. Free-range (friendly) dogs on site.
Cons: Only niggle is paying top dollar for an 'Ocean View room' which wasn't as advertised. There is no ocean view, apart from a glimpse through trees. They are new owners and have since changed the listing description. The pre-arranged airport taxi is overly expensive for a ten-minute ride ($22 per person), although you get a fresh flower garland (lei) on arrival which is nice. Internet access is prohibitively expensive for this day and age.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Lovely room, amazing plunge pool outside to relax beside
Cons: Room was a little warm between the hours of 12-5pm
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Loved the staff/owners friendliness! Very informal settings including DVDs, laundry, small pool (we never used), water toys such as masks, snorkels, water shoes, ocean kayaks. Well landscaped alleys, private villas. Not exactly waterfront, but 50m (150') walk from the beach is still a great location!
Cons: In USA early check-in, late check-out is a common courtesy (of course based on availability) that appears to be not the case here in the Cook Islands.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great location
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The cleanliness of the property the comfort of the bed the stunning beachside’ with kayaks&beach shoes provided’.No faults thank you Cooks Oasis
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Matt is a CHAMPION. Top setup. Reasonably priced. Lots of little extras to make the perfect holiday spot.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean, comfortable beds, friendly and accommodating staff.

Pros: This is a compact Resort and I loved there was no hustle and bustle with masses of people. The staff are friendly, interactive and incredibly helpful with sharing their knowledge of the "Things to do" in Rarotonga. I am looking forward to heading b ack there again in a year or so.
Cons: It took a little while to get used to the roosters that roam wild but these are a challenge all over the island and are not restricted to just this area.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Loved the staff , proximity to beach
Cons: Shipwreck bar which is part of the property only serves very limited food options, mostly heated in microwave. BBQ on the beach on Saturday night was cancelled, not enough people booked, very dissapointed.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Wonderful staff from Steve the owner on down the people are first class... wish we could have stayed longer... great beach for snorkelling and an awesome beach bar with great food... highly recommend
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location - a few steps to the water, great spot for snorkelling, wonderful sunsets. Friendly and helpful staff - all with a sense of humour! Accomodation - spacious, well laid out - all the basics for self catering - super strong shower! Substantial breakfasts included - fresh fruit, warm muffins, toast and spreads and of course the local coffee. Welcoming hosts, Steve and Geraldine have a depth of local knowledge which they willingly shared when approached for information eg local places of interest, walks, restaurants, markets.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The staff were fantastic! I loved the outdoor area with hammocks! The photos do not do the rooms justice, they are more spacious and modern than I expected. We only stayed one night so I'm not sure how the snorkeling off this beach is or how the food at Shipwreck is, but I loved the rest of the accommodation! Walking distance to Beluga (yummy breakfast and lunch), a convenience store and gas station, an ice cream shop, and Adventure Cook Islands (which I highly recommend).
Cons: N/A
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Great breakfast at the Shipwreck Hut Beachside, colourful tie-dye bedspread & curtains & cute bungalows
Cons: Lots of roosters around the property that start crowing at 4:30am right outside the bungalows!!!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great breakfast experience! Great staff and the owners are utterly lovely. Really can't fault this place one bit, the bar serves a relatively limited menu but the food itself is very good and the bar staff are friendly.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Wonderful hosts, breakfast, gorgeous view from balcony/deck, great music nights, easy parking, beautiful beach.
Cons: Just felt it needed a little refurbishment, old frig for example iced up badly.

Pros: Position and privacy and loved the sound of the waves on the reef. Sheryl and John, the managers, were very helpful.
Cons: Thought room rate a little high. Pool was too cold. Wouldn't have liked to stay at a very hot time of year and had to pay for the aircon on top of room rate. We were happy with ceiling fan in July weather.

Cons: Absolutely nothing

Cons: closeness to restaurants

Cons: nothing
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Nicely situated between the main town and Muri with a regular bus stop outside the property. Good pool and free kayaks.
Cons: Restrictions on cooking in the apartment, lack of hanging space for clothes and although there is a lovely beach the rocks and coral makes swimming in the sea a challenge!

Pros: Owner and staff were 100%
Cons: nil

Pros: Adults only resort, nice room, friendly staff, good facilities, cocktails are awesome and great spot for watching sunset.
Cons: Pool needs a bit of re-tiling, offering Nutella for the pancakes would be awesome.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: quietness, no kids, setting, it's staff especially at the restaurant and bar On The Beach. pool area and beach setting just perfect,
Good 7.9
Pros: location room
Cons: wifi terrible
Good 7.5
Pros: The small intimacy, the peaceful location, the superb restaurant
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Location is Paradise and in my opinion way superior to the more 5 star known resorts on Raro. The restaurant staff and food quality also superior to the Muri competitors.
Cons: This time only 8 days.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Thank you for our stay. The staff are lovely & welcoming. The rooms are big, with a massive, comfortable bed. Nice surroundings and tidy property. Felt very relaxed while we were there. Nice to be on an adult only resort.
Cons: Loud chickens on site that wake you up early.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The restaurant attached to the hotel is great for lunch and dinner. The staff were super friendly and helped me plan my engagement to my now fiancée.
Cons: It’s the same pretty much all over the island but the rosters and chickens make noise intermittently all night long which can interrupt sleep. Wish they could be kept away from the rooms at night
Okay 5.7
Pros: I liked the proximity to the beach
Cons: I thought the room looked average - sparse furniture, not very inviting.
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: The pool was nice and bar staff friendly.
Cons: The plumbing was inadequate with poo coming up the basin. I could not eat at the restaurant as there were lots of flies. The mattresses on the loungers were dirty and smelly.

Pros: Loved beautiful country and the weather was fab. Beautiful surroundings and the beach. Had fantastic holiday.
Good 7.9
Pros: Lovely location and staff. Pool villa was amazing. was a really nice place. 4/5 star.
Cons: Don’t pack your gym kit though as this isn’t a usable facility at all. Breakfast buffet was nice but not out of this world. Good resort.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: enjoyed the consistent and high level of service, great food nice off beach private bungalow - well setup
Cons: beach not as nice as muri for general swimming activities due to the closeness of the outer reef and lack of much open area for swimming
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff were superb except, The food was great,
Cons: The rooms and facilities are tired . The value for money was very low. The rate of NZ$527 per night was probably double what the facilities are worth on global market. NZ$275 would be aboutt right for this tired facility
Excellent 9.2
Pros: A fantastic resort. Super friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast which was an added bonus. Great selection of food and drinks at Oceans Restaurant for reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.
Cons: The beach outside the resort is really rocky so not ideal for swimming. There were strong currents too.
Okay 5.8
Pros: All the staff we met during our visit, were exceptionally happy, loving, smiling, enthusiastic human beings. They shared so much of their culture. My agnostic husband attended a Sunday church service!!!!! I personally established an amazing report with 4 staff members . Their response to me was quite a life changing experience. No. 1 took in my varied comments about the resort registering the various areas of the Crown as evaluated by a visitor. She seemed to enjoy our talks as much as I did. One evening we discussed many personal life stories. No.2 Gardening topics - covering a variety of activities. Best options for pathways, flowerbeds, rockeries, shrubs, trees, palms & boarders. Enthusiasm to learn & execute suggestions, had never been as rewarding!!!! The third man helped me resolve my confusion regarding the date, time & correct overseas time zones. His wonderful smile took away my total embarrassment. Like all in the present world, he took out his phone & BINGO! There was the information on the screen!!! He didn't need to be a rocket scientist!!! The forth person worked in the food, decorating & dining areas. Also some house keeping. Her attention to various guest's needs, were instantly stored in her mind & then recalled & executed. I wanted a coffee mug, she spontaneously put one on the table. The next day, with her endearing smile, she did the same, delighted we had noticed . At our farewell she gave us home made dumplings as a gift. In the Villa the bed had been "turned down"with the usual arrangement of flowers, also a special Happy Birthday message on the bed for John. For me, she had accurately folded the bed cover at right angles to the mattress. Done in this way nothing is left to drape on the floor! All of the items mentioned cover Health & Safety issues. Unfortunately as a result of post operative problems I have to remain extremely cautious & vigilant.
Cons: Initially I was very uncomfortable & nauseated by the strong sewerage smell outside the villa. That was also noticed in other areas of the resort, occurring at different times of the day or evening???When staff were questioned they seamed not to even be aware of a problem? The following evening we couldn't even sit outside under the gazebo. I subsequently bought my own perfumed Air freshener, which was left behind for the next quest!!! I was extremely frustrated that Management never came to view my issues regarding our various problems. We were obviously paying quests, with an expensive daily rate. What was the point of completing a feed back form on our departure. My philosophy in life has always been - substantiate a negative comment with a positive, constructive alternative!!!!! When this approach failed I wrote a hand written list, room by room, also the patio, including the very neglected garden, etc etc. I've substantiated these aspects on my iPad!!!! Still a request to come & see was not taken up!! A "face to face "meeting might help resolve our dissatisfaction, offering better outcomes, with appropriately reduced rates!!!!. I found the General Manager to be abrupt and completely non-negotiable, more focused on other issues & a convention meeting ? Would that approach be classed as skilled management choices?? Hopefully this matter can be satisfactorily concluded, with appropriate adjustments to our expensive Villa rates, already paid, (but very sadly, not refundable) almost 6 months ago! I look forward to a reply at your earliest convenience. Yours sincerely - Mrs Irene Aubin
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Friendly, helpful reception staff, the grounds are lovely. Ocean outlook for breakfast and dinner. Our private pool looked inviting, although a bit cool to swim in (mid Oct), however, sea was warmer. Loved the cute chickens everywhere. No geckos or frogs to be seen. Room was great! Double bath on legs and spacious shower. Great water pressure. Don't park under the trees in the guest carpark as the chickens roost there and will poop all over your car. Mini supermarket is across the road with a good range of supplies, Indian takeaways, and e-bikes rentals. Recommend snorkling up the road, west of Black Rock as the beach in front of resort is a bit of a slope to the water and painful to walk on without reef shoes. We loved our stay. Highly recommended.
Cons: Not much we didn't like.
Good 7.0
Pros: Location, book exchange, Flambé restaurant menu and musician
Cons: Hotel a bit tired. Spa treatment very average. Reception staff very average service.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The location was very peaceful. The courtyard pool suite was perfect and it was great having your own plunge pool and loungers. Food and drinks were fantastic. The Staff were lovely and the gardens were amazing- you felt like you were in your own mini tropical paradise. It was our second time back here and we are already planning our third!
Cons: Wifi intermittent at the hotel

Pros: Ronnie was an excellent host - nothing too much trouble. Arranged pick up from the airport for post -midnight arrival, and generally friendly and pleasant with lots of useful advice.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The fact that we could book in last minute. And that it was in the centre of town
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Location and staff. Our second stay here, the location and friendly staff attracts us back.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: It's not "luxurious" & it's not on the beach feont, but it doesn't pretend to be. I knew this when I booked. It's comfortable. A large room, a comfortable bed, fan and air-conditioning, & a mini bar that's very well priced. Cans of Heineken for $3.50 (you won't find cheaper in Raro) and soft drinks for $2.50. Lots of power points, a good shower, and anything you need the staff are happy to help. It's really close to cafes, restaurants bars & shops.
Cons: The neighbourhood IS pretty noisy with a LOT of barking dogs.

Pros: We had a beachfront villa, lovely sea views and private beach..bus stop at gate, established gardens.
Cons: Washing machine pretty old and dated, only 1 for all the units to share. Rooms pretty basic, with AirConditioning unit above the bed being old, disconnected, so not working .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We spent a week here with my sister, we had a perfect room that was spotless clean, with daily housekeeping. Owner Lynn was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and looked after as did her staff. Beach front perfect location away form the hustle and bustle of a resort. We loved the friendly swiming dogs and crazy chicken and rosters....we love it!
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Fantastic site
Cons: Nothing all good
Okay 5.0
Pros: The room was nice, and close to the beach. It is a nice resort close to the Edgewater Resort, and with well kept grounds.
Cons: I was not happy to pay 3.5% fee for paying with a Debit Card (not a credit card). I was not happy to hear that the staff are paid a very low wage, and that they did not receive what they were contracted to get.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The location of the property is a major plus, being so closed to the airport and downtown area. A local bus stop is in front of the property making it very easy to ride buses everywhere instead of having to rent a car. A small property and the owner is very considerate and helpful in every way to make my stay as enjoyable as it can be, such as early check-in and late check-out which is very important for U.S. travellers since flights usually arrive early in the morning and depart very late at night. The nice porch in the villas is very suitable to see the sunrise and sunsets. The staff was also very helpfull and friendly.
Cons: The property really needs a good fumigation because of insects inside the rooms such as ants and some other flying bugs. I even saw rodents in the property. Faucets should be replaced in some showers. A few upgrades will change the property for better since it has a nice but rocky beach. Agua socks are must to walk on the beach and also for swimming., It is cozy and basic and good for the money .
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The location was great 10 min walk to Edgewater where rest of family was staying. Has its own beach area which was very nice. The staff were very friendly and approachable and helped in any way possible to make your stay stress free .
Cons: Roosters wake you up every morning they run wild all over Rarotonga does not matter where you stay, but got used to them.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This place was surprisingly really nice! The semi private beach was the BEST! And the room was awesome as well. From the photos you can’t tell but honestly this place is such a great place to stay! Bus stop at the end of the driveway, shop across the road, restaurants within walking distance...it was really good!
Cons: There are always ants everywhere but they’re only a small inconvenience.

Pros: Breakfast brilliant , friendly cheerful staff .
Cons: We were placed in the middle of a group of school children who were noisy and knocked on our door thinking it was their room . After one night ( we know kids are kids) and we discussed this with a staff member ( who could not have been more helpful ) and were allocated another room on our last night , many thanks it was much appreciated. We rented a car for a day from you and if I were their manager they would not be still working for me .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Upgrade to beachfront rooms (Aitutaki Bay - rooms 400) are amazing!! We were on the very top and the view of the sunset, Sunrise, beach everyday is a must. Beds are super comfy, TV is nice and big and listening to the crashi ng waves everytime. Staff are very polite, esp the fijians at the bar. Everything is made easy for you at reception!
Cons: We booked originally for the garden view rooms, however we decided to upgrade asap the next day to beach front. Garden view rooms were run down, and the sink in bathroom took a while to swallow the water which is gross when you brush your teeth etc. The bed wasn't comfortable and TV wasnt clear in the garden view rooms. When we were taken there that whole area smelt of sewage hence us upgrading the following morning. We checked in early morning around 2am, and when we got to reception she took our details and asked one of the guys to carry our bags. He didn't look too happy and when he saw how far our room was, he looked annoyed. He was annoyed big raro dude.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location is fantastic such a beautiful spot & snorkelling was amazing. The staff were friendly and we loved the fresh fruit each morning with our brekkie. We will come again, for sure!
Cons: The Villa we stayed at was comfortable but possibly could do with some fresh paint.
Good 6.0
Pros: Good location with nice access to beach.
Cons: Breakfast not great - extra charge for cooked breakfast. Building works very close to our room. Lots of children running around.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Beach, pool, bar and restraunt were all in one place so convenient. Kids club accessible, lovely spot

Pros: Nice and handy to town etc
Cons: It was handy location and good value and nice people running it Good value for money
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Close to town and the beach. Chantelle was super friendly and helpful! Good value. Bus stop right outside. Flexible check in/check out and easy transfers to the airport.
Cons: A little lonely staying there on my own, and it was quiet, but it was a great location and close to town with a bus stop right outside so easy to get out and about.
Good 7.1
Pros: After traversing the many wonderous places on the Island of Rarotonga during the day, it was great to retreat to the paradise Inn at night. I really was surprised by the staff who make it a pleasure to stay at P.I Cookislands. They went above and beyond expectation to help make my stay an enjoyable one. Manager Chantelle & all the support staff were very understanding & always willing to facilitate assistance with travel plans or give valuable advice when it was needed. Great beach access, close to shops&town. To further explore the Island, it's easy to rent a bike or car from www.polynesianhire.co.ck My room was 3star (as advertised), but I felt like I got the 5star treatment. Considering the price I paid for the length of stay; I would look to revisit Paradise again.
Cons: The place could do with an upgrade
Good 6.3

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great activities and equipment available to use at no extra cost! We loved the Sanctuary half having no kids around but access to the busier half as well. The room was beautiful on the beach and we just lucked out! Loved it.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The overall stay was fabulous - service, room, staff and food all exceeded our expectations. From arrival at the airport we were treated to a real welcome with warmth and generosity.
Cons: However, when we got to the final day of our holiday, we felt like we were suddenly treated like second-class citizens. Our request for a late check-out had been ignored and we were not notified why. Nor were we given any kind of facility to use for the nearly 10 hours before our late flight home. The single generic shower provided was definitely not the standard of cleanliness we had been accustomed to! With regular late night flights to Auckland, we were bemused as to why the hotel's customer service wasn't at all attuned to this crucial need for a service room to be provided. Very odd.
Excellent 8.3
Cons: Entrance was not inviting - reception is at the bar
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Location is great. Step out your door to some amazing snorkeling and paddle boarding. Scooter, car and bike hire a walk away.
Cons: Shower head needed a clean but apart from that it was fantastic!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location and staff very friendly, Room very nice ,with a great ocean view.
Cons: Free breakfast could have been better with some hot food like eggs or bacon, instead of diced fruit ,cereal and pastries. The gym was a bit outdated, equipment looked worn out and old.
Okay 5.7
Pros: Location
Cons: Facility really needs a lot of TLC.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The location. Close to the water. Plenty of activities daily. No screaming children. Everything right there. Entertainment every night.
Cons: Not having a tea towel or cloth.

Pros: Comfortable hotel. Very close to airport. We were met on arrival at the airport - even though our flight arrived at 1:30am. The room was clean and modern, with a lovely comfy bed. Included continental breakfast the next morning was most adequate. A good selection of cereals, toast, muffins and fruit. The breakfast area overlooks the beach, which was a lovely start to our holiday. The hotel has a secure locked room, and staff are happy to store your luggage whilst you wait for connecting flights following check out.
Cons: I have no complaints
Good 7.9
Cons: The air conditioner control would not work so it stayed on all night
Okay 5.8
Pros: location - super easy to get to the airport at 2 am!
Cons: the noise from the onsite bar!
Good 7.1
Pros: Bar prices Distant to the airport
Cons: Breakfast options very limited
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We stayed 1 night on route to Aitutaki because it is just over the road from the airport. We were very happy it was a quiet night with no bands playing. Large comfy beds and good breakfast.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The easy check in and bag storage options made this the perfect airport gateway hotel to support our middle if the night arrival.
Cons: Nothing
Okay 4.2
Pros: The 1 & only thing we liked is the lovely greeting from the staff member at front desk
Cons: The smell of sewage on our arrival was disgusting! We could not even boil the jug as it was full of black gritty stuff. Mould was all over the shower heads & all in shower cubicles. There were stains on most of the linen (pillows & sheets) & towels were so old they scratched when used. The ceiling fans had thick dust on them as if they had never been cleaned. You could hear every single conversation in hallways outside bedrooms. Buffet breakfast was very minimal & we had to ask to replace stuff as everything kept running out.
Good 7.9
Pros: Great location, convenient, close to town
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great spot close to the airport. Just a short walk to town. Fantastic bar and food.
