Rockaway Beach has plenty of festivals to check out. Some that are popular are The Pirate Festival, Fourth of July, and The Kite Festival. Visitors can also just enjoy hanging out at the beach. Other attractions include the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, Tillamook Cheese Factory, Garibaldi Museum, and Manzanita Golf Course. There are also lots of shops within walking distance of the Silver Sands Motel.
