Location is great in relation to the beach access and a great beach at that. Our room was pretty ran down to be honest. We knew what we were getting into as far as space goes, but I wouldn't recommend for more than 2 people. It was my wife and 7 year old and with no closet or table space it ended up being pretty cluttered. The bathroom was in dire need of a remodel. Staff were friendly. It worked in a pinch and was all they had left for vacancies.

Pros:The view
Cons:There was no phone in room, no tv service at all, no DVD player in room. All materials provided were out dated. Was charge $150 more than was quoted to me online. The staff was super unfriendly and on exit as we were checking out, all we got was what do you need? Checking out.... okay, thanks was the reply from the front desk. No ask of our stay no receipt offered or anything. I will not ever return to this establishment for my beach stays.

Pros:Wonderful beach access, fantastic scenery. Indoor pool was warm and family friendly. Rooms were clean, and staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros:We liked that it was close to the beach. My 8 year old twins thought it was great because the room/suite was so large . The pool was very clean and had cheerfully painted murals on the walls and the kids had fun in the pool. The rooms were very clean. The front desk staff person was friendly. If you just want clean and roomy then you might like this place well enough.
Cons:The room had a musty odor but it is a beach hotel so I imagine that is tough to overcome. The outside needed painting and I did see maintenance working on this. The couch in the living room was uncomfortable and while the rooms are set up for 4 people there was only a small couch and no other chairs in the living area. Also no chairs in the bedroom. We were in the side building and had a side view of the beach but it was obscured by power lines. Not much can be done about that but they could have better chairs on the balcony and perhaps a small side table. They had only 2 ugly and uncomfortable plastic chairs on the balcony so it was not "inviting " at all. The sheets were too small and kept coming off the beds. Beds were ok though. I guess my issue with this hotel was while it is clean , it isn't pretty or fun looking at all. I thought the interior and exterior was gloomy and inside was not comfortable. We paid nearly $200 per night and I expected something a bit nicer. It was nice to be close to the beach but the town was a bit of an eye sore too. Next time we will try to stay in Yachats with better restaurant choices and at more inviting feel.
