I stayed here during a conference that was being held at the Westin O'Hare about 1.5 miles away. It was clean, comfortable, and most of all, affordable - even with Ubering to and from the conference every day, I saved a good 30% off of what I might have paid had I stayed at the Westin. Staff were great, the room was nice enough, and I really enjoyed the gym and pool. Lots of good delivery options via UberEats and other local restaurants, so I didn't go hungry. There's also a Target about a 10 minute walk away, which is basically heaven for me. I'll be staying here every time I head to Chicago, assuming the price stays this low!
The bed wasn't super comfortable, but they made up for it with lots of varieties of pillows. Breakfast was a bit sparse - think super thin microwaved bacon and boxes of cereal - but for $10 I wouldn't expect much else.
Bed bugs. And I told them and they never called me back. We couldn't sleep from itching
Comfortable stay
The bed was really comfortable, and the amenities in the room are perfect for an overnight stay for a weary traveler just coming in to O'Hare from a long trip.
It might be helpful to have more than one shuttle van to go to and from the airport. The 7:30AM shuttle bus filled up before the 7:30AM departure time, so I had to wait wait for the 8:00AM van, which was a little bit late, and I didn't end up leaving the hotel until 8:15AM, which is the time I was supposed to catch a bus to go on for further travel. Perhaps at peak times if there were more than one van or some sort of sign up the evening before to get a sense of how many people need to use the shuttle, it would allow guests to take the shuttle they need to arrive (as close as possible) to the connections they need at O'Hare.
Good location and decent services
Bedroom and bed comfortable
The waiting time for transfer was too long 28 minutes
Still old school cool
It has an old Chicago cool feel. Unexpectedly . Close to decent food and casino. Clean. Staff is well trained and friendly.
I didn’t notice the hotel shops on checkin so I bought 3.00 waters from the vending machine s all week and they were half price at the store. My fault. It was my sons 21st birthday so rehydration was paramount . It got exspensive. Wow, still hung over. Thanks Chicago!
