I liked the fact that the staff made you welcome from the start, nothing was too much trouble for them. By the time you left, you felt like you had made new friends.

staff are frendly and did the best they could given the fact that building work in the Hotel makes life hard for them.

The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. They kept an eye on our car whilst we cycled part of the eurovelo 6 route.
The toilet is behind a fairly flimsy screen and very close to the bed in the bedroom.

staff were friendly and eager to help. the food is basic but acceptable. the hotel is located in the city centre next to shopping and a short walk to the beach and promenade area. Not far from the hotel,there is an interesting attraction in the revitalised dock area which is about life on luxury atlantic cruise liners of a bygone era along with world war two submarines on display. the attraction would suit adults and kids from 7 years up. The town is quite at night and parking is in the street and free. The hotel is basic but would make an unusual overnight en route to final destination elswhere.
Bed was clean and fresh but rooms were a little jaded and spartan especialy the accordian doors on the toilet and seperate shower. However for the rate charged no real complaints
