It was fine. Location not that great, about 20 minute walk from old city centre. Sheets and pillowcases rough, toilet paper the old fashioned European kind. Beds OK. Carpets in the hallways and common areas were quite dirty and stained. Also, we believe the online booking process caused our credit card to be fraudulently used and we had to have it changed.
Staff only gave recommendations for tours that they clearly are getting kickbacks for doing.

Good location for both Salzburg and the university. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly on every occasion. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The dining room and breakfast area are great -- especially when you can sit outdoors. It was great that the hotel had its own bicycles, and it is easy to either go into town or out to Hellbrun by bike.

The Castellani Park Hotel is a very nice comfortable hotel with very friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is situated 15 minutes walking distance from all the attractions of Salzburg.
