Pros:5 minute walk from Old Town, the beach, or Gros, you choose. Fantastic Pintxos in old town, and a giant Pintxos pote in Gros on Thursdays (Pintxos crawl where a drink and a pintxo is only 2 euros - selection is not as tasty, but it's cheap and fun with tons of locals). 7-10 minute walk from train station. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. They stayed late for a late check in when our train didn't come in until after hours. Offered to do laundry for us during our stay. Had lots of local breakfast recommendations. Room was very clean and the bathroom was amazing (we now want a shower setup like they had). Room did not seem to have temperature control that we saw, but we went during May so the temperature was mostly nice and easily modified by opening the balcony door for a little. Would book there again next time we visit.
Cons:Parking in neighborhood looked tight (but we took the train there so we never had to hunt for parking, sounds like the pension had suggestions, but probably had to pay ). Lack of individual temp control if going In a warmer month. Our room opened onto the back alley, so sometimes if we had the balcony door open we could smell cigarettes from other neighbors(But rare).
