Airline reviews

I liked that my family got to sit together and the location of our seats. The food quality was terrible. I did not eat the dinner, the boy in front of our seats got sick after eating the food. My tv did not work for the first 2 hrs and then it did come on. The flight attendants did not provide the headphones for any of the passengers in our area, so it didn't matter if the TV worked because I wouldn't be able to hear anything. When we got off the plane in Frankfurt we had to take the stairs off rhe plane and then take a bus to the terminal. Waited 10hrs for the next flight to Vilnius and then it was cancelled the last hour and half before the flight. We scrambled to try to get an alternative. We got on a wait list for a flight to Riga, Lativa that night. Fortunately, we were confirmed for boarding but had separates seats and we have small children. We were able to talk to the passengers nearby and they gave up there seats for us. Finally arrived after midnight in Lativa to find that our luggage was lost, apparently the attendant for Lufthansa in Orlando checked in our bag incorrectly and gave us the wrong person receipt tag. They are attempting to find our luggage which is apparently on it way to a town in Germany. We had to take the transportation bolt and be driven from Riga to Vilnius which is 3hrs and finally arrived in Vilnius at 5:30am. So yes, the flight was a disaster and probably our worst trip ever with Lufthansa. I don't think we will be traveling with Lufthansa again. It's a shame because I believe we're trying but they all seemed flustered and forgetful, maybe overworked. I do hope things can change in the future.

Missing bags at final destination. Super hot in plane. No water offered during flight. Check in at Frankfurt was horrible too. Overall bad experience

Pros: "The crew on-board was nicer this time"
Cons: "Had wait in line for more than 1.5 hours to check in (no self-serve kiosk) and then conform to the 10kg carry-on (both backpack and suitcase) rule which didn't happen on the first flight. The staff are rude and unhelpful and the whole process of dealing with Norwegian is confusing."
Cons: "Arrived late due to bad weather in Houston, about an hour late."
Pros: "Literally one of the worst check in experiences I have ever had traveling"
Cons: "The person checking me in could have given me a few minutes to help me understand the flight delay"
Pros: "The crew was excellent and always there to help. They managed a 15min boarding due to being well organized."
Cons: "I’m 5’7 and my knees were touching the seat in front of me- there is no way to be comfortable. You pay an extravagant amount of money and get squished in there like sardines. It’s disappointing."
Cons: "I missed somehow the distribution of headsets, and I never got one (after asking for one). (Un-)fortunaltely there was no movie I really wanted to watch, or classical music for my taste (recitals, chamber music). Anyway, this is not a major problem, just a tiny glitch. The random boarding went surprisingly well, although I'd prefer the more structured version. Until there is bread, butter and cheese, I am fine with the bland food."
Pros: "Monitor in front of me did not work during the whole flight."
Cons: "Monitor in front of me did not work during the whole flight. The seat was really crammed in and not enough leg room."
Pros: "Great food and service. Business class lie flat seats are good for the sleep."
Pros: "I enjoyed how smooth the whole flying went in the Lufthansa plane, also how quite was inside the plane compare to other airlines airplanes. I love the leg room in the plane. I impressed with the level of commitment to take passenger out the airport on time. It has definitely one of the smoothest and nice plane I have ever been so far."
Cons: "The pilot when landing landed too fast and the plane lost its balance for a second but other than that everything was great."
Pros: "El entretenimiento"
Pros: "Crew was very friendly and seat in KQ is super comfortable in Business."
Pros: "The crew was nice and the seat comfortable."
Cons: "Never got the pre-ordered wheelchair in Paris and only after long negotiations at JFK. Also, Delta lost my checked bag between JFK and DCA."
Pros: "crew was great, seats were comfortable"
Cons: "departure board listed flight as being boarded and gate closed hour before flight leading to confusion and standing in queue for over an hour, part of food was frozen and inedible, paid for upgraded seat which turned out to be by bathroom smells were as bad as you can imagine"
Pros: "The crew ask some of us to help seating a family group together. No objection. Then they went out of their way to make the trip more enjoyable for us... even offering a drink of Champagne wine (the true one, not some substitute)... Departed almost on time, arrived a few minutes early..."
Cons: "It was a great flight can’t think of anything"
Pros: "The crew was very accommodating. I couldn’t have ask for anything better...pass on my praise to the flight crew of 0083"
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "Air france crew at Mumbai Airport very rude and not supportive during checkin"
Cons: "Flight was delayed by at least an hour leaving Paris - a regular situation I experienced with AF."
Pros: "TAP is great to fly, friendly, safe and solid, nice crew"
Cons: "Seats were atrociously uncomfortable for a 6'1" man. Less than zero leg room due to ridiculously tight row spacing and non-reclining seatbacks. Had to attempt to cram in sideways - resulting in serious pain by the time the flight finally landed. Intercom system, especially from the captain, was painfully grating and loud. Boarding was extremely slow, in part because gate personnel made no effort whatsoever to police and enforce the four-group boarding process (premium - no carry-on - group A - group B). People boarded whenever they felt like it, many carrying on huge backpacks and multiple other pieces. Will definitely avoid TAP in future."
Pros: "Nothing! Horrible!"
Cons: "I had small carry on And there were nowhere to put them. The cabin for the carry one were full and my carry on had to be placed somewhere else, and knowing I had personal information in my bag. Very disappointed"
Pros: "Nothing the crew was mean and rude I’ll never fly TAP air Portugal again"
Pros: "Everything very professional and high quality."
Cons: "The queue for the check-in / bagagge drop-off took almost an hour; only towards the end a second regular counter (besides the premium) was opened."
Cons: "The entertainment system did not work and could not be switched off. This issue could only be solved by the crew placing blankets over the screens. This happened both in my seat and my wife’s seat. I don’t think this is acceptable for very expensive business class tickets."
Pros: "The plane was comfortable the free drinks and food and crew were friendly."
Cons: "Can't think of anything!"
Pros: "The seats do recline, more space than Delta or United"
Pros: "On time departure, early by 30 min arrival."
Cons: "Low quality of food. Some flight attendant barely spoke English. Low choice in movies."
Cons: "Good tasted so bad, you should try to improve it."
Pros: "The plane was on time. Crew was informative."
Cons: "Could be more careful loading the luggage. Watched one of my bags drop out of the plane while loading and damaged the bag. Not impressed!"
Pros: "Crew amazing. Passengers great"
Cons: "Seats are way too small. Aisles way too tight. Recent acquisition by air Canada must improve passenger comfort."
Cons: "Exit seat wasnt a full exit seat just a slightly larger row and did not recline. Seats were smaller than usual too."
Pros: "leg room in middle isle was great"
Cons: "the flight attendant took boarding passes from my hand and did not return them back to me, upon entry. My mother had to take the boarding passes from flight attendant's hand."
Cons: "Paid in advance (6 months!!) for a seat with more space for legs Got a regular seat instead With no explanation or reimbursement... very disappointed!"
Cons: "Flught was 90 mins late leaving becuse of equipment failure. Missed my meeting."
Cons: "flight was delayed in both directions; very few announcements; the crew were ok, but there was not much service in the hour we waited foe the plane to take off and during the flight"
Cons: "2 hour delay with very little communication as to why. Plane was way too big for a short domestic flight (boarding and departure took longer than the flight itself). Parked at far end of the airport so 15+ mins walk to arrivals. All around one of the worst flight experiences I’ve had in years!"
Pros: "Good entertainment system"
Cons: "Laying $9 for a pillow when they blast the AC. Waiting over 2+ hours to serve the meal when our boarding time was almost 10 pm, and how unhelpful and unpleasant the flight attendants were. The plane was uncomfortable and noisey. For over $1400 for my ticket I shouldn't be made to feel bad for asking for more juice. Just awful service."

I never understood why I couldn’t add a bag in the overhead cabin where I was seating..eventually the bags/suitcases were from other passengers that weren’t at my seat. How inconsiderate and most probably we paid the same price…

Flight was great comfortable seating..only discomfort was due to the turbulence.

No Wi-Fi and so no entertainment. And the flight was delayed 5 hours.

Bumped us from flight without telling us! Booked us for the next day. Didn’t have a hotel, so I had to book a room at the Sheraton and hope I get my money back

Dedicated flight attendant on board Uncomfortable and small seat for business class Bad quality audio Good and drink okay

Cons: "Lots of different thin: boarding lines weren’t clear, seats are not that comfortable, food was fine but not great and I would give a very good to crew"
Pros: "NA"
Cons: "The flight did not wait for me due to the 1st flight delay."
Pros: "I think the pilots are great, very stable take off and landing."
Cons: "Foods not good"
Pros: "The connecting flight was with air Canada. In general the flight was fine. Landed on a Saturday afternoon."
Cons: "What was not fine was the horror at the other end when air Canada lost my bag (which had my suit and prescriptions) and couldn't tell me where it was or when it would be delivered for over two days of calling between their service centre and one the ground people at Boston. The call centre was in India, no one in Boston would tell them what was going on. It should not take three days to sort, when the bag had actually been sent on the next flight (on Saturday evening) after the one I took. Fortunately, was able to borrow BP medication from a relative and ultimately had to spend money to buy new suit and clothes before bag finally appeared because I had business meetings for which I needed appropriate attire. Every other airline I gave flown where my bag was delayed was always delivered in 24 hours. This was not Brussels airlines fault, it was the fault of air Canada."
Cons: "the good service at the check in and on the plane, or the great entertainment service, are all shadowed by Air Canada service for families with babies. We live in Vancouver and use frequently either Air canada or British Airways. We have a 1 year old baby, and on BA we automatically receive family seats for no extra charge, which have extra leg room and option for a bassinet. even with a 1 year old baby they have a special seat for that age, instead of a bassinet which fits only new born babies, so our 1 year old baby could sleep in a chair for hours on BA flight we just took from London to Tel Aviv. we got to London on a AC flight from Vancouver, where we weren't given family seats unless we paid more, so we had to spend 9.5 hours with a 1 YO baby at our lap, the baby of course was miserable, so we were miserable, but not just us, everyone in our vicinity had to suffer the baby's crying. On the BA flight the baby could sleep in a special chair for older babies, placed where usually a bassinet is placed, or sit on the floor next to our legs (because there's so much more leg room in the family seats), something the 1 YO babies need very much. I will recommend anyone with a baby to never fly with AC, especially when you have great alternatives like BA."
