Quite place, good for sleeping.
Parking was inadequate. Overflow had to be parked 10-15 min walking distance away. Room faced back from the water. A bit pricey for what they offered.
Modern hotel, all very clean. Room was a good size. Free wi-fi was good. Breakfast was superb. On the 2nd floor is a self-service snack area with honesty slips to be filled in for adding to your bill. This seemed like a great system and worked well. Opposite the hotel is a great small shop which stocks loads of goods, and great pastries and sandwiches. There is also a fabulous fish and chip shop opposite too and much better than driving to other restaurants if you do decide the hotel food is too pricey.
Hotel site itself does not have sufficient parking for all guests. Open parking is available at a distance of 400m from the hotel, so it is possible to unload and then move the car. This is a paying car park but the hotel gives you a parking ticket which then means parking is free. However it was disappointing after a tiring day of travel not to be able to park at the hotel. In-house restaurant is expensive. The actual beach is a long way away from the shoreline; and if you are only there for a short time and don't coincide with high tide you still have to pay 3 euros each beach tax.
We liked everything at this location. The receptionist was so helpful, she spoke quite good English and went out of her way to make sure we got to our room. The room was large and airy with plenty of ventilation and spotless. We had dinner in the restaurant and the customer service just got better. Anne sat down with us and translated everything on the menu for us and made sure we were well looked after for the whole evening. In the morning even the handyman went out of his way to greet us. Gold stars all round.
Nothing could have been better , the hotel and surrounding area were wunderba
