The owners of the hotel are a lovely family and very hospitable. The breakfast was excellent as usual, lovely hot coffee, tasty freshly squeezed orange and the best toasted croissants I've had by far.
Nothing, the whole experience was excellent.
The room was dark and dingy looks over there she’d full of rubbish didn’t feel welcoming more like a poor 1star hostel not a 3 star hotel.
Fantastic location for the beach and the Jazz Festival (which was the reason we came). Clean rooms and excellent breakfast. Asked to buy a bottle of water for our journey home and given a large bottle for free. Breakfast with the locals was a bonus.
Only one small criticism and that was the shower head was somewhat weak.
My gluten intolerance was catered for well ( I informed in advance) and the staff were friendly and down to earth but nevertheless very professional. The hotel was airy and very clean. Breakfast was an open selection from a café serving the local community and was perfect - freshly squeezed orange juice, freshly made tea and coffee, toasted bread, and a selection of toppings, which could be accessed until midday or even beyond. For the gluten tolerant, there were a variety of donuts and pastries. We accessed the rather rickety free bicycles and really enjoyed cycling around the beach and into San Javier. The towels and bed linen were of good quality and the air conditioning made the room very comfortable. The taxi rank was very close to the hotel and usually full of taxis, which was useful for our trips to the jazz festival (€5) and the sea front is within walking distance with plenty of restaurants and bars, all with reasonable prices.
The shower was more of a column of water than a spray but the pressure was good, so it was actually fine.
It was very clean and staff were friendly.
Lack of car park and better directions regarding breakfast.
