Ideal for cancelled AMS flight stopover
Accommodating front desk and housekeeping quickly removed feathers from room. Large towels and v clean and bright
Not really a negative just common sense - allow plenty of time for airport shuttle particularly in morning - up to an hour. Could take less time but not worth stressing particularly if flying to USA with additional security clearances.
Had a few problems, but OK overall
-Nice hotel with a clean room, comfortable bed, and well-appointed bathroom. -The breakfast spread(not always included in the price, I understood) was very good. -The shuttle service is convenient (if you can find seat in one TO the hotel, that is; no problems FROM the hotel to airport). This is important because there is nothing, literally nothing, near the hotel and it is about 15 minutes ride to/from the airport. The restaurant was good but has practically no options for a vegetarian meal (surprising since vegetarian choices appear to be becoming quite common at most good Dutch restaurants). The front-desk staff was generally polite and responsive.
-They share the shuttle service with another hotel AND a few parking lots. As a result, there is always a large crowd waiting at the airport. The problem was further exacerbated by one of the shuttles being a small van. -The driver of the shuttle (the large one) on the day of my arrival was extremely rude--he shut the door in the face of a young lady who was trying to enquire about when the shuttle was supposed to leave the hotel It didn't and took the Etihad crew to the airport instead). I felt bad enough about it that I went back into the hotel and reported this to the front desk (the Manager was "not available" to speak with me); have no idea what, if any action was taken against the driver. -The next morning, the hot water heater was not working, making it impossible for the guests, many of whom had to catch morning flights, to take showers.
