9.7 Wonderful
Pros:Really liked the various cooking classes that were included in the resort fee. We did a chocolate bar making class, a mixology class, and a crepe-making class. Lots of fun.
Cons:The actual beach is incredibly narrow. At times there was no dry beach. The water came all the way up to the wall at the end of the beach.

Pros:We visited a few hotels on Grand Cayman and the Marriott was the best by far. Such a great deal for clean facilities, friendly staff, amazing food and drinks, and water activities included. We will definitely be returning with our kids in tow!
Cons:They didn't do a good job cleaning our room before we arrived. There was a foul smell in the bathroom that was caused by mildew from the previous guest's wet clothes from beach/pool.

Pros:The location was great for where I was conducting business. The food was good and the options were plenty. I liked that the hotel wasn't too big. I liked the access to parking and was lucky to always have a spot close to the entrance.
Cons:I didn't like the lack of beach space. My room wasn't cleaned properly. When I checked out staff didn't ask me how my staff was. Even though it was a business trip, I had time for 1-hour in the morning to enjoy the beach, which wasn't that big. While laying there the drills the staff uses for the beach umbrellas, was really annoying and go against the ambiance I was seeking. Minutes later drilling into construction started at the beach restaurant. I decided to move then near the back pool, which then of course someone was cutting the grass. I couldn't win that morning. My reservation package came with a $50 credit to use on F&B. The night before I checked out, I confirmed with the front desk staff, if that credit would be good for breakfast tomorrow. He said yes, up until checkout at 11am. When I went to check out, the staff said that wasn't the case. They ended up giving me the credit, but was annoying to have to check my bill twice.
