Rented twice from Enterprise/Alamo in Spain, both times it seemed to take 40 minutes to actually drive away.

Pros:

I reserved at remote location - near interstate so not to drive in historic city center of Seville Spain. When I arrived the car was not ready...I waited for it to be washed then they drove the car offsite to refuel. My entire check in plus wait time for wash & fuel was over an hour.

Cons:

Everything regarding check- in. Info that drop off location was NOT at airport would have been helpful as well. The agent at drop off destination was excellent.

Cons:

I have been told than an non US citizen could not take the insurance. So I cancelled the reservation. No problem with the the rental car company but I have been charged on my visa card of 43,42 + 0,85 euros by the ALLIANZ company (the 15 12 2016).

The drop off location that was listed on our rental agreement was permanently closed and we had to drive to a different location, which was very frustrating.

Staff was friendly. For drop off they came right out to the car shortly after I parked. Whole process was simple.

Cons:

Every company tries to pressure you to buy the extra insurance. I didn’t like that they pointed out I was liable for the entire price of the car and then wrote down the price as if to emphasize the point.

Friendly and helpful staff, pick and drop off was convenient. One thing to note - all of the service for dollar was provided by Hertz, may be they are affiliated in Europe.

Cons:

Insurance coverage was too expensive. We didn't purchase it, but could have if it was reasonable.

Cons:

The location I returned at ,Calle Proncesa, Madrid, is very hard to find, and the cars actually live in a parking garage down the )busy, city center) street. The drop off address in the contract is the office, not the garage, which caused major troubles for me.

Cons:

The process of getting and dropping off the car was not easy. Signage for drop off is not clear nor was instructions and there was no attendant to help. The cost was far more than originally anticipated. Not worth the price when you account for fuel and tolls.

Somehow my airport pick-up was switched to train station -which is not easy to get to. Fortunately the airport desk was able to switch things around for which I am eternally grateful. Staff was very kind and helpful. The car was just what I needed and in great shape. The overall pick up was very slow for everyone not just me with the location switch. Roughly half an hr per person. I've never seen it take so long before

The woman who helped us in the Sevilla airport was very friendly and indulged our desire to practice Spanish, but switched to English when it was important that we understand exactly what we were getting into.

Cons:

I didn´t like that automatic transmission cars cost so much more than manual transmission cars.

I had only problems, at the pickup and drop-off. I've been charged with extra 1 day(49euro) and for extra fuel (30euro) after 3 days after drop-off. After 3 weeks I finally received my money back for this extra charges, but I have no idea why I was charged.

Cons:

Now they are asking me for 204euro for a scratch I didn't made it, as at drop-off I checked the car with an Sixt employee and everything was fine

Stay away from this company. We sent a note to the company were told insurance was included. When we picked up the car we were told no insurance was included and we would have to pay $80/day for it. Our $100 car rental went up to $260.

Cons:

having used major rental companies many times during the year, one expects to get in/out of airports quickly. Sixt customer service is poor, the cars are old and not cleaned. they try to sell you insurance and upgrades in every occasion by telling you car is not ready. on return most likley they hold you responsible for scratches that you as a individual generally don't notice when you pick up cars so they can claim damages from you.
