The Highland House is the perfect hotel for ski enthusiasts. From here you can ski to the chairlift and back to your hotel room. Great for families or groups, it offers a variety of lodging options from standard rooms to 3-bedroom villas.

Although Snowshoe is a resort town, you’ll find a few affordable hotels nearby. The Inn at Snowshoe is one option. It is located at the base of the mountain and only a couple of miles from Snowshoe Mountain Resort. Other amenities offered at this inn include a pool, hot tub, restaurant, bar and laundry facilities.

Snowshoe has a really nice bike park. Its downhill mountain biking path is safe for beginners but offers a challenge for more experienced riders. Both the Highland House and Allegheny Springs provide easy access to the bike path from their hotel. They also offer secure storage for your bike when you’re not riding.

Although there are no brand-named hotels in the actual city of Snowshoe, there are some in various nearby cities. If you prefer to stay in a well-known hotel chain, you can consider booking your vacation at the Hampton Inn, Super 8 by Wyndham or Holiday Inn in Elkins. These properties are about 40 minutes away from the Snowshoe Mountain Resort.
