The breakfast was great and the interior warmly and traditionally decorated.
The old clock in the stairs was ringing every hour of the night. I couldn't sleep well at all although I had chosen this nice B&B in the countryside to enjoy the silence of nature...
Colin and Jane were so lovely with recommendations about things to see around Stirling and where to have dinner. The property is so beautiful and they were so generous with answering my questions about its history. Our apartment was so cosy, picturesque, spacious, private - we felt like we were staying overnight in a comfortable museum - everything about these older manor homes fascinates us. Beautifully cooked breakfast, so many berries, pastries, juice on offer to eat as well - great start to our first day of Scotland!
There was nothing we didn't like
Very nice people, very comfortable, a true unique scottish country side experience!!! First class.
A lovely Georgian mansion set in beautiful tranquil grounds. A gem of a find. The hosts Colin and Jane couldn't have been more welcoming and hospitable, they really made us feel at home. Rooms are spacious and relaxing, and beautifully appointed. The guests's lounge is a wonderful place to enjoy the afternoon tea offered on arrival. Breakfast was superb with lots of choices. A perfect stay, we hope to be back soon.
All perfect, couldn't fault it.
A great location , friendly hosts ( Colin and Jayne ) , beautiful building and lovely setting , couldn't ask for a better place to stay . Look forward to visiting again next year .
