10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing property. Fun friendly staff. Comfy beds , good showers. Great views
Cons: No complaints. Property could use a decent maintenace guy. Lots of missing tils arpund pool area and around our tub. These are easy cheap fixes. A little grout a few tiles. Otherwise awesome place. I know were out in the middle of nowhere but $95 for food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pools and lagoon were amazing, and great for kids and parents alike.
Cons: Nothing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The overwater bungalow was amazing!
Cons: Food and drink were expensive and service was not the greatest considering the price point.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Amazing pool, beautiful outlook.
Cons: Shower ran out of hot water, not very good pressure. A little rundown overall.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: location, grounds
Cons: the staff in the restaurant are helpful n friendly, BUT absolutely horrible service in the restaurant. service so so slow, they never come to clean yr plates, SHOCKING for InterCon
7.5 Good
Pros: Great breakfast
Cons: Dinner experience disappointing, loud "Tahitian Night" music till 10pm+, room for 1 night old and needed renovation
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views and super convenient to and from the international airport.
Cons: Drinks like in the rest of French Polynesia can be quite expensive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location (right next to the only public beach on the island) and very friendly staff. Great spacious and very clean overwater bungalows with lots of snorkeling right under them. You can see rays swimming by frequently. Loved the view from the bedroom and balcony facing the mountain and clear blue sea. Located next to many restaurants, most are walkable but the hotel can book a complimentary transfer when you make reservations with them. You can take a kayak or paddle board and have fun around the hotel (it’s included). For our anniversary, they offered us a complimentary bottle of champagne which was really thoughtful. They have amazing options for outdoor activities like snorkeling: we did the lagoonarium to swim with lemon sharks- then the 1rst snorkeling activity on the list (6h) and the manta Ray/coral gardens excursion 2nd on the list I think (3h). We really enjoyed all but our favorite was definitely the 3h tour, it was amazing and we saw so much more than any other day (eagle rays, manta rays, all sorts of fish, coral gardens). The sharks were on the 6h tour though (black tip reef sharks). When we left the hotel, we got greeted by the lady who runs the hotel - so sweet, it was really nice to finish off with the director coming in person to say goodbye and to make sure that you had an excellent stay - very thoughtful. Everything was so perfect, I really recommend this hotel to anyone that likes to be in an intimate setting, with great quality rooms and services. If you want to party, you’re better off staying at a bigger hotel that’s probably remote from the island (so not as convenient- round trips to the main island are around $400).
Cons: The buffet for the Polynesian show is a little expensive (but it’s the same price in all other hotels). Also, not something bad considering it’s an intimate hotel but there are no musical bands playing at the bar in the evening (just Tahitian band concert at the restaurant which is very nice). Pool is pretty cold.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location was great. Very close to airport
Cons: Staff were not the friendliest Room was small Price was very high for what you got There are basically no premium hotels in PPT... This is the only choice. It was fine but compared to an average intercontinental or westin or whatever I thought it was a bit rundown Totally adequate but to fit family of five took two rooms which were nothing special and over $800 for the night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Intercontinental Tahiti resort is very close to airport, which was very convenient for our long flight from SF. They upgraded us to over water Bungalow . Room was just perfect, over clear water, with cozy decorations and very modern bathroom. There were even wireless chargers installed next to bed. Lobby is big and very inviting with sitting area with the ocean view. Property is full of beautiful tropical plants. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Clean and newer feel, comfort and beauty of the property itself. Infinity pool.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this place is spectacular. They have the friendliness and most helpful staff I have ever interacted with in a hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service, Amenities and Location/Views were all amazing.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and the room and bathroom were nice and clean. Breakfast was nice, too. All in all a good place to stay. We would stay there again!
Cons: Only reachable by car/taxi unless you want to walk uphill for two kilometers from the airport. Therefor the view is amazing!
6.3 Good
Pros: The family were very helpful and nice.
Cons: I booked the room because I thought it was close to the airport, its not walking distance at all set on top of a hill overlooking the airport. Despite it's seemingly close location its just as easy and cheap to get to the airport if I stayed in Papeete, I spent a lot of money on taxis both in the evening to go to restaurants and in the morning to get to the airport. You need to phone the property to find it whereabouts, I have no phone with roaming so it cost me a lot.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I was at Farehau for one night following along travel day. The staff at Farehau picked me up at the airport ( a real bonus) and took me to their home. The house was very comfortable, set high on a hill overlooking the city and water. My room was nice and cool and very clean. In the morning there was breakfast waiting in the kitchen and it was yummy. Their was a huge deck with comfortable chairs.
Cons: The house is in a residential neighborhood that is overrun with roosters. So they were a bit loud but that didn't really bother me...I used earplugs and sandwiched my head between pillows. Being a tropical island I expect there to be many new sounds especially form the resident fauna!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location to airport was perfect. But would have been impossible to find on my own. Staff offered to take us to McDonalds and grocery since we had no other means of transportation
Cons: This should have clearly been stated to be a Bed and Breakfast and not an hotel. It was rather disturbing to be let out of the taxi and to walk down steep personal driveway (once gate was opened). And knock on someone's door of their house which is clearly not a hotel. Staff were not available when needed to answer questions. Didn't answer phones. Felt trapped. But it ended well with nice breakfast of fruits bread and coffee. They arranged taxi to airport for us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable and friendly.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very lovely and personal guesthouse within good proximity to the airport. Fresh fruits, baguettes and jams at breakfast, with nice coffee. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very helpful. Very much Recommended

Cons: The water was never more than luke warm

Overview Reviews
This charming hotel is set in Papeete. The hotel features a total of 91 bedrooms. Pets are not permitted on the premises.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was walking distance to most stores and restaurants. Good size rooms and staff very friendly.
Cons: The shower in the junior suite was leaking.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, central
Cons: Dark corridors
6.3 Good
Pros: The room was spacious and hotell has a gym. There were showers available for people with late flights.
Cons: The hotell is otherwise nice but our room was infiltrated by very loud traffic noise from the street and this bothered sleeping. Spending more than one night would not have been possible.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms modern, clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Ideally situated to walk to center of town with Public Market etc. Also in walking distance to Ferry/Cruise Ship terminals - but not with suitcases due to street construction and heavy traffic
Cons: Mountain view and side rooms are quiet. Rooms facing street have traffic noise all night long....
5.8 Okay
Pros: Close to Ferry terminal and food carts, great staff, clean.
Cons: Hotel is really dark and worn. Shower design poor, pooling water in most of bathroom (Junior Suite, may not be an issue in other rooms) . Seems to be priced really high for value.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Convenient location to the port. Better than other hotels in the area.
Cons: Attention needed to maintain this property. Typical of Papeete where things are "let go". The sheets needed replacing and felt very rough. The ceiling in the foyer is becoming mouldy with holes in it. There is so much mould in the toilets in the reception areas it's hard to breath in there. Expensive for the quality it offers but relative to other overpriced and dirty/poorly maintained places in Papeete it was a suitable option.
7.0 Good
Pros: Spacious family room and very close to the port to take the ferry! Very convenient.
Cons: The rooms could have been a bit cleaner.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice, clean and spacious. Air conditioning worked great. Nice balcony with city and mountain view. Just across the street from the harbor and roulottes. Convenient little mini mart next door.
Cons: Dark unlit corridors at night.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location of hotel in heart of Papette is convenient location. However I did not find the reception staff overly helpful when our Air France departure flight was cancelled on Friday, Sept 25 and did not fly out until Sunday Sept 27 at 3:00 am.
Cons: Location of our room was on main avenue and very noisy. Also the sliding glass door to the balcony would not lock so they delivered a piece of wood to jam in the door frame. Whilst the room was large is was impersonal. the room and the hotel in general was very dark.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: good location staffs are kind
Cons: too dark in the Hotel, breakfast is too expensive..no value for money

8.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for our 12 hour layover on the way to Bora bora... it was perfect for just that. Located directly across the street from the airport, my husband and I walked although it was uphill (a good workout lol) rather that then paying $20+ for a 1 min cab
7.5 Good
Pros: Extremely close to the airport, staffed for late night arrivals, good price, friendly staff - especially as we overslept & missed breakfast so were given some croissants to keep us going!
Cons: No hairdryer, room was hot & stuffy until aircon kicked in, fridge not on, firm mattress

Cons: Super low water pressure in shower. Impossible to wash my hair! Not well lit stairs are dangerous to use at night.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance from the airport. Very nice family room with sound proof windows.
Cons: All good, a pleasant surprise!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very close to the airport. The hotel staff asked if we wanted a wake up call and if we needed a taxi upon leaving. We received our wake up call on time and our Taxi arrived at the requested time. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very pleasant and quickly learned the customer names.
Cons: Not easy to get luggage up their stairs. One of the stairs in the lobby should be made into a ramp. Would also be nice for some of the rooms to have a balcony.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Across the street from the airport. Staff was nice enough.
Cons: Finding the entrance was a nightmare. Especially at night. Breakfast was an old croissant and cereal. Worst was the bed bugs everywhere. Super gross.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Super close to the airport, a nice, clean room and breakfast included. The staff were helpful, what more could you want?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ideally located for an early departure. Five minute walk to the terminal to check in then back to the hotel for over an hour prior to boarding. Very convenient!
Cons: Entrance not well marked. Walked past it a couple times in search of a way in. It’s up a steep dirt driveway with absolutely no signage.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly situated to the airport, only 5min walk (but steep!). We arrived at 11:00p.m. and were in our rooms by 11:30p.m. Breakfast is good, everything you need (at least for european taste). Beds are fine. Staff is friendly an helpful.
Cons: Don't expect too much comfort, it is an Airport Motel. But has everything you need for that
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Need an easier path from the airport when carrying luggage. Although in front of the terminal, it’s a steep climb so we ended up taking a taxi

Pros: Location, location, location. Staff was friendly and accommodated our luggage after check out without charge and let us wait out a down pour in the lobby.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was good. Short walk to market and the food trucks in the evening. Room was clean.
Cons: Very basic. The bed was a double & we are used to queens. No tissues. They have a gadget that shuts off all electricity to the room when you leave, so if you're gone a few hours the room will be hot again. Just one towel per guest. All channels on the TV are in French.
6.0 Good
Pros: Simple but Friendly. Could use some updating
Cons: Needs updating
5.0 Okay
Pros: clean basic room that met our requirements for a "day room" paid for the full overnight. Very close to cruise terminal. Staff was great stored our luggage offered us the use of the lounge and was very helpful with a map and ordering a taxi to the airport
Cons: the address was wrong closer to 147 not 417 Poor sinage walked past it originally.

Pros: Air conditioning was very good. The location of the hotel is excellent. We would recommend this hotel in its category.
Cons: The staff was very unfriendly. The breakfast was poor. We found the breads not fresh We would suggest getting this hotel without breakfast and having breakfast in the cafe a block away.

Pros: We knew it was a basic hotel but was handy to cruise port.
Cons: Dark in first room we stayed Second room on way home was better.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We landed in the night and stayed one night at this hotel before taking an airplane the next day to another island. The hotel was easy to find. It is located in the downtown, so didn't have a view other than the downtown, but we didn't need it anyway. Check-in was smooth. The room was exactly as expected, clean and spacious. 6.8 Good
Pros: Bed very comfortable.
Cons: Restaurant menu.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The only thing we liked was that they were not totally booked like their competition.
Cons: Horrible Hotel. Extremely noisy area. We could not sleep all night due to traffic noise, construction, a factory, or something that is open at night nearby with lots of banging. We have travelled A LOT, and this is the worst night's sleep ever!
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Large room, close to ferry
Cons: Staff rude when needed something at the front desk. Property needs refurbishing—our room, lobby, outdoor area. Able walk to stores and restaurants but seems like unsafe area at night.
7.0 Good
Pros: location close to ferry harbor.
Cons: very noisy outside, a lot of moped riders throughout the night racing. windows dont block the sound.
