Cons:Hotel is situated in the center, close to Gamla Stan , in old and beautiful building, if you are not looking for a good conditions and are ready to share your toilet and bathroom (by the way without warm water) this place is for you though, but even it won't spoil your impression about this gorgeous city

Pros:If business relied heavily on first impressions, the Colonial Hotel would most likely not be operating. Good thing for them there are people out there, like myself, that dont mind the downgrade of comfort, privacy, and luxury, if the price is right...and believe me it was! My wife and I stayed here for two nights and absolutely enjoyed ourselves. The breakfast was phenomenal and the location you couldnt beat, a quick 10 minute walk to central station. On our check out day we had to leave the hotel at 5 am in the morning, Anders was so kind to provide us with snacks and food before our departure, hours before breakfast was to be available. He tried to get us to stay longer and chat, but we had a bus ride with our names on it. In the end is difficult to describe the hotel, mostly because it reminds me of Hostel with private rooms and shared bathrooms. But if you are looking for a compromise between value, semi-private, and a good breakfast...this is the place. My wife and I truly enjoyed ourselves =)
