Maybe because spring was late??
I liked the location
I did not feel welcome. I was uncomfortable as though I was being watched by people at the front desk. It might have. Been slow because of the late spring but it seemed like we were the only news staying at the lodge.
The history behind the hotel. Also, hotel offered us champagne for our 10 anniversary, it was very kind
The attention from the staff and the pleasant atmosphere of the lodge & surroundings. It was a surprise stay for my wife - our 40th anniversary - on our way from Boston to Montreal. She could not have been more pleased.
The Trapp Family Lodge was friendly and warm from the start. It is a great blend of class and history that everybody should experience. It is true that the Trapps make you feel the hills are alive with the sound of music.
