PROS: We were greeted by the owner (French speaking but spoke English) and she was very pleasant and welcoming, although extremely busy with dinner service at that point. She offered to help us with hiking/walking options when she wasn't so busy. Our room was small with a private bath, rustic and cozy. We chose not to have breakfast at the Auberge although it is offered for a fee.CONS: Pillows not to our liking. The toilet had a plunger issue and constantly ran loudly every time it was used because the cycle didn't end. We had to take off the back and manually adjust the plunger each time --quite a hassle. It was so late and we were so tired that we didn't have the Auberge address it that night. However, in the morning when we checked out (1 night), we mentioned the toilet and the woman (not the owner) responded like she already knew it was a problem and didn't even offer an apology for not notifying us or for the hassle. That was very disappointing.
