Was good for an overnight stop
Could have some painting issues fixed to look nicer.
The people make the difference!
Staff was very friendly over all!
The woman working the front desk argued woth me at checkout over my bill, she looked up the wrong room even after seeing my name & the room was different. I understand different dialects and accents are hard to jugglbut more patience is important when dealing with internationals.
Location; view of harbour
Incredibly small room meant for one person only; had to crawl over spouse to get out of bed. Banged a sore knee into the wall when I turned over. Having no space on one side of the bed is unacceptable when two adults in a room. This was not told to us when we booked.
The shower pressure.
The room was disappointingly small. I realise that it would be expected that a twin single room would be small - I will however not book this room configuration in future. Also the view was taken up mainly by the curtain. I also thought that for a Habour View/City View it would have been higher than the 2nd floor.
Friendly atmosphere. Serviceminded staff. Nice view and close to restaurants, shopping, museeums etc.
I think the hotel could have free internet or at least a little cheaper.
Reception staff - particularly Jessica- were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was really central for Darling Harbour.
The first room we were offered on the 10th floor was very poor it was like being in a corridor and we were so disappointed not to have a harbour view but the reasonable priced upgrade made a world of difference
The hotel is near to a shopping mall, food & very near to some of the interesting places to visit.
First of all, this is not a complaint.. This is just a purely suggestion. But i personally think that the room is too small for a price of AUD300 per night.. Perhaps upgrading your room to a slightly bigger room and changing your TV room to an LCD TV would be great.. And providing an extra pillow would be a bonus :)
Conveniently situated and although close to amenities was pleasantly quiet. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Very comfortable, quiet, close to the convention center and shopping, small cafes, weather
no
Locality
Room's curtain had been broken & not replaced, so no privacy; very limited in room facilities
The views of city were great.....convenient for city access.
not really.... just ok. The price has increased quite a lot from my last stay.
Being able to have everything within walking distance. And the view from the room of the sky line at night
