The ryokan is beautiful with many onsens
The quality and taste of the dinner is very average not befitting a ryokan that commands such a premium price
This place is hard to find but that’s exactly what they are trying for. It’s not a swanky up market resort, but a boutique Onsen that gets it right! The hotel and rooms are excellent with a natural surrounding near the stream. Onsen options are amazing. I never bumped into another person bathing although hotel was full. The dinner and breakfast meals are a great experience. Family friendly as we travelled with a baby.
I’ve seen in other reviews, the beds are hard. This is very true. Hard and slightly uncomfortable...
It exceeded my expectations in every way. Staff were friendly & helpful, scenery was beautiful and food was nothing short of amazing. A few different onsens to choose from - all offering scenic views. Definitely a trip worth doing, and doing again.
Everything ! There’s several onsen and each of them is really nice. The staff is very nice, the food is wonderful, and the room are really nice and spacious. A wonderful and luxurious experience that I definitely recommend to try in Japan :)
