Pros: The location and views are spectacular!
Cons: The room was very dry and and tiny. The valet person tried to give us the wrong car as we were checking out. We called to the front desk 20 minutes before checking out to make sure our car was waiting. It was not ready and it them took another 20 minutes
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We opened the double doors, stood on the small balcony and enjoyed the wonderful view of the Rocky Mountains surrounding the hotel. Our room was a suite consisting of a living room, kitchen area, bedroom and bath. The staff were very accommodating.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff went above and beyond. The view and locations great. Beautiful & cozy.
Cons: The loud snow groomers at 3 Am in the morning.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was a perfect stay from check in to checkout. From the time Stuart and Shane checked us in and finding accommodations for my Corvette and Harley, all the way till to our final breakfast, this was an ideal place to stay on the mountain. And speaking of the included breakfast, Shane wasn't lying when he said it was the best in all of Telluride. The room had a balcony, fire place , small kitchen and a steam shower, which included use of a private hot tub on the top floor overlooking the mountain. We will be back next year, same time.
Cons: It was all good!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It is in Telluride
Cons: No
Excellent 9.4
Pros: The staff was very good, the food was excellent, the steam bath on the fireplace were nice, the location is good next to the gondola, had a nice big balcony.
Cons: I didn't have much of a view. The bedroom was a little cramped.

Pros: Setting, upgraded room, staff, location.
Cons: Plastic free (water bottles and shampoo)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This extraordinary boutique hotel was a perfect mix of elegance, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service! Everyone from the valet to the front desk exceeded our expectations, and made us feel like we belonged here. Absolutely cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the staff.
Cons: Having to leave at the end of our stay...
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Telluride is an amazing place to visit for starters! The Lumiere was beautiful! The boutique style hotel was perfect for our weekend getaway. The room was larger than most. The valet and front desk attendants were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was set up in a buffet style but there were not any hot items except the option for toast or bagels. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
Good 7.9
Pros: The staff was outstanding in every aspect of our expectation. Our luggage was lost and they were great about seeing to it that we were informed when it arrived. The breakfast layout was second to none that we have ever experienced!!!
Cons: The late night false fire alarm was trying. However, I do appreciate the concession. the biggest complaint that we have is that the bed is far too hard for our comfort. I am not sure but it just seems way too hard and we hardly slept all weekend.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Stunning hotel. The staff was amazing. I cant wait to come back and stay again.
Cons: I wish I was staying longer

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, right next to gondola loading area, quiet, 10%discount for spa treatments, spa located near lobby. Fireplace in room. Robes provided for hot tub/sauna. Great breakfast included.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We love Camel’s Garden. Amazing location and facility any time of year.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: First thing I want to say: the pictures do not do it justice! We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and it was so spacious! We loved our view of the gondola and sunsets between the mountains, from the rooms or the lovely balcony which was perfect for coffee and wine. The bathtub was amazing. Huge and with a sloped wall to lean back and relax. Fireplace was pretty and easy to use. Bed was extremely comfortable. We traveled as a group of 3 and the sofa was also extremely comfortable - so much so that I didn’t even attempt the sofa bed, but I suspect it was at least adequately comfortable too given the quality of the couch. Didn’t use the steam room but it looked great. Hot tub was phenomenal for a soak looking up at the peaks. Lending library, breakfast included (with lox! And views and breakfast area!), free apples, location near at least three great restaurants, all great bonuses. Oak which is the restaurant in the lobby is a solid and fun BBQ place with a very diverse menu - even vegans could find good options. Didn’t use the Aveda salon and spa which is right off the lobby but for a longer stay that would have been perfect. Also didn’t have a chance to use the hiking trails that are right by it but that’s another perk for those who are staying long enough to do that. Staff was extremely friendly and professional, and in conversation we learned the owners are excellent employers, which is a nice finishing touch. This place is on the affordable end of Telluride, particularly for still having a flexible booking policy. Don’t hesitate!
Cons: Nothing! Extremely light sleepers may want to request a room further from Oak and the Gondola Plaza. Noise was over by 11 for us on weekdays, not sure if that’s longer on weekends, but wasn’t too loud and blockable with earplugs.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: There are wonderful perks with this hotel.

Cons: Lobby furniture isn’t particularly comfortable
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The view from our room was spectacular! Enjoyed having our own keurig in our room as well.
Cons: I would have liked having a soda vending machine on premise. Usually there's one by the ice machine but not in this case.
Good 7.9
Pros: Dinner and breakfast were both delicious on site.
Cons: Bed was very uncomfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super comfy bed. Fantastic happy hour. Beautiful location. Staff was delightful.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: This is a very cute restored hotel, centrally located in Telluride. Everything is within walking distances. The only room for improvement would be to include a mini-fridge in the room.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: location was great and rooms were clean
Cons: noise from bar went until 130AM on Saturday night. Rooms were cramped
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location was the best!
Cons: The hot tub isn't open in the winter...which is the only time when you would want it.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The hotel is located in the old town of Telluride. Easy walk to the Ski gondola. Located close to a good array of bars and restaurants.
Cons: We couldnt get a reservation to eat in the hotel's chop house. Tried for a couple of nights but they were full so we went elsewhere. If you want to eat there then book well in advance.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Loved the character the amazing location and the history creaking on the floors as you walked up to your room. The rooms are nicely laid out with a couch at endive bed for us and super renovated stylish bathrooms with a deep clean new tub.
Cons: I wish there was more 'service's as far as feeling like your a guest oppose to someone who rents a room upstairs. There is coffee in backroom but lack luster. A discount on the dinner perhaps (only breakfast lunch) and a better variety of room service menu and not just a million dollar steak. Mondays the restaurant is closed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful historic hotel in ideal location - and the people there were very nice! Highly recommend
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Super comfortable and beautiful old hotel. Great service. High price was a negative and the cable was broken. I did not get to watch tv, but my breakfast was free. 5-star service. Great rooms and charming feel.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: The new Sheridan hotel is a beautiful building with a great location right in downtown Telluride, you walk outside and are right in the downtown street with beautiful mountain views all around. The inside of the hotel was lovely, it had this great old time feeling and was beautiful. The room was very nice and very clean, it was comfortable.
Cons: The hotel room while beautiful and clean was so tiny, for what we paid to stay there for two nights I couldn't believe how small it was, the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. They also advertise on their website that they have hot tubs, I called the front desk to ask how late they were open and the guy told me they didn't have hot tubs and when we tried to go up to the rooftop deck, the door was locked but we could see hot tubs up there. I just thought it was interesting that he said they didn't have any when we could obviously see them, it's one thing to say they're not open right now but why'd he have to lie?
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic location right in the center of downtown, with an easy walk to the gondola for skiing; super friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Wish that they had a hot tub, but otherwise was great
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Love the character, history and coziness of rooms which are clean updated but retain character and history of building and town. The original artwork and both restaurants are wonderful.
Cons: More amenities a little something to feel special being a guest.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Hot Tubs were nice.
Cons: The carpet was was dirty.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hot tubs are built into canyon area. We were able to watch deer walk right by. Location is perfect for biking, hiking or simply walking.
Cons: Note: Bikes are not allowed in the room. THey have secure areas for your equipment. Breakfast was packaged pastries. The town is pricey on all meals (no food chains,or local grocery stores), so be prepared with your own snacks or ready to eat foods.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Rooms and hot tubs were nice
Cons: No hot water for showers
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location and really enjoyed the hot springs! Maybe a continental breakfast would have been good. Ouray is a great place though! Loved Box Canyon hotel
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Lovely clean rooms, new soft robes to wear down to the hot tubs. Front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Easy location to find with signs off main st. The hot springs are clearly the big selling point but their rooms are really nice lodge type rooms as well. We will definitely be visiting again!
Cons: Rooms need better soundproofing overlooking the hot tubs. Although this must be why they are only open until 10pm, for which we were grateful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hot springs were almost hidden away , not close to public or street .
Cons: Very basic rooms and hotel but was perfect for the price . Hot springs were very small pools made it awkward for people to join but there was 4 of them so rare for them to be full enough you would have to share .
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location and the private springs. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. Overall it is a great place.
Cons: The rooms were smaller than average and overfilled with furniture. At this price I would expect a larger room and teaming up with a local restaurant for free breakfast would be a good idea.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We’ve stayed here many times. We’ll stay again. Hot tubs are hot.
Cons: Can be a little noisy, but after 10:00pm it usually quiets down.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Love the location, comfort, and hot spring facilities. We had stayed there once before and were glad to return.
Cons: Our only complaint is that we needed some ibuprofen and the hotel staff had none. Local stores were all closed.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great place to stay in Ouray; great location and private hot springs.
Cons: It would be nice to have breakfast included even if it was only a voucher for a local establishment.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location was great & staff was very friendly
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location right in front of the box canyon falls! Those are amazing and their hot springs!

Mediocre 3.0
Pros: No air conditioning left the room stuffy. No one told me no a/c so when I adjusted the thermostat from off to 68 it began to heat up. Heater only. Wife and took showers and there was no cool setting, so after a blistering hot shower I was done.
Cons: No A/C and open balcony didn't cool it down enough. View from hotel was nice. No food available after 9pm, so pack a snack if you missed dinner.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Beautiful views, walking distance to gondola. Friendly staff.
Cons: Decent amount of mold in the grout and ceiling of the bathroom shower. Charged $25/night resort fee and $24/night valet fee not known at time of booking. Pool/ hot tubs closed at 8pm. No microwave in room. Too warm at night with no A/C.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Location was amazing.
Cons: When I showed up it was dirty. They had painters tape on the closet doors and a half full cup of coffee sitting on the counter. The bathroom fan didn't work and there was no remote for the TV.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The spa, workout facilities and both pools were wonderful.
Cons: The beds were quite soft. Our room was close to the atrium and the noise from there was quite loud. We finally complained at 12:30 am, but were surprised that the hotel staff didn’t ask them to quiet down earlier. We also had a room next to a barking dog
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location and view.
Cons: Valet is expensive.
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: Hotel staff was not at all hospitable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful location
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great staff! Room was spacious and modern. We hated to leave.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The view from out room was breathtaking. We loved the nice sized balcony.
Cons: Hard to navigate the pool areas.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: The hotel allowed pets which was nice but I might as well have just gotten him his own room at the pet fee rate they had. Valet gentleman in the afternoon Was the only person on staff who was friendly to us
Cons: The staff was not accommodating at all at pretty much out right rude. I get that they might not want to be there but at the end of the day if a customer is paying to stay at your establishment then they are helping pay your paycheck.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Spectacular views, easy access to Mountain Village shops and the gondola, good recreation facilities, including outstanding gym and indoor/outdoor pools. If you like hiking, there are numerous hikes within walking distance, ranging from fairly easy to really challenging. We were there last week of August, which is a slack time for visitors, so had no difficulty finding reservations for any service we wanted, either at the hotel or elsewhere. The property is well maintained, and we had excellent weather, so spent considerable time outside. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful, although there are clear variations in experience level.
Cons: The first room we were given was a disaster. The hotel switched us to a second room quickly, but the construction in the next door room sounded like multiple jackhammers operating simultaneously. Hotel staff understood why they needed to move us to a third room, but should have known about the construction next to the second room before putting us there. The third room was attractive, with a great view and balcony, but the air conditioning didn’t work and the mattress on the bed was very worn and uncomfortable - made sleeping difficult. With a good mattress and better climate control, the third room would have been great.
Okay 5.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Size of property, location, accommodations.
Cons: All was good.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Wonderful stay and amazing staff!! My only complaints would be that the room we had, didn't fit the description given and the neglect to tell you about the $60 a day deposit that is required at checkin, which you're obligated to pay or you will forfeit what paid on your reservation. Other than that, it was truly a wonderful visit, will definitely go back!!!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: very nice
Cons: Small eating area and small pillows that get flat
Good 7.1
Pros: The lobby is beautiful and the local music at night was great.
Cons: Property is dated and the breakfast buffet is overpriced for the quality .
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Beautiful, well appointed, perfect location, staff was super helpful, all the amenities you need & a shuttle that takes you everywhere & anywhere.
Cons: Not one thing!
Okay 4.0
Pros: The property is very nice, as was our room. The in house restaurant was also good. It was nice that they stored our snowboards and we had a shuttle to/from the gondola whenever we needed it.
Cons: We bring our dogs with us whenever we can, therefor we stay at places where dogs are allowed. We pay extra to have our dogs with us. Friday evening at 6pm, I get a call while eating dinner with friends and family visiting from out of state that our dogs are barking. I go back to the hotel and hear nothing. My husband decided to just stay there after that. The next day, at noon, when I'm snowboarding, I get a call that they're barking. Are you kidding me? Is someone never leaving their room or is it bothering the staff? I've never been so inconvenienced during a trip. Ever. I've never had a complaint about my dogs either, let alone one that completely interrupts my vacation. MANAGE EXPECTATIONS. I paid over $1600 to keep coming back for my dogs barking during daylight, waking hours. Hard pass next time. I'll stay at the mountain lodge where we've stayed before without incident and I'm on the mountain!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location was great. Warm feel to hotel with great beds, sheets and towels
Cons: Parking was a little tight, snow cleanup was a little lacking
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Love the property and the service, great location also!
Good 6.0
Cons: Was charged by booking.com when the room was booked and then charged again on departure. It took two calls and a week to get refunded
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great service, cozy lobby, just nice enough without being too fancy. Wonderful buffet breakfast for a reasonable price. Great place to stay for ski vacation.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel was very clean and all the staff I encountered were very friendly. It was nice to stay a dog-friendly hotel that actually catered to and acknowledged our dogs. I would definitely stay here again.
Good 7.5
Pros: We wanted to love our stay but everything was just a tiny bit off. At 9pm we were asked to pack back up and move our room ourselves (while sitting downstairs at dinner) when the front desk realized they had put us in a non-dog friendly room. The new, dog-friendly room was not as nice. We were taken aback and it sort of ruined the dinner and stressed us out on the night we had planned. The shuttle to the gondola is great, as was the live music in the lobby.

Good 6.7
Pros: Good location close to slopes, great views and close to gondola. Chris concierge very helpful some staff great, others not so - they need more training INMHO !
Cons: Original room very small, cupboard door fell off ! We asked to change rooms and were upgraded at a cost. The new room much better bigger with kitchen etc - I would not stay here in the standard rooms unless you are literally using to sleep only as they are small with no amenities. Breakfast service very slow on first day so did not eat there again. On check out dispute about the charges !
Good 6.0
Pros: Shuttle drivers are great. Beautiful setting and location is very convenient
Cons: The very small room with thin walls. The restaurant was hit and miss.
Good 7.0
Pros: We loved that you can ski-in/ski out. There was a shuttle bus that would take you to the village.
Cons: Our bed was horrible. The mattress was lumpy and sagging in the middle. We were unable to have a single night of decent sleep our whole stay. I was told that the rooms were all getting updated bedding so maybe we we got one of the old ones...
Good 7.9
Pros: On site shuttle and drivers great!
Cons: Amenity as Ski in/ski out is a stretch. It is treacherous to get to ski run from main lodge - down a concrete ramp that is steep.
Good 7.9
Pros: Ok experience The restaurant was fairly priced. Oversized portions ....
Cons: Didn’t realize my room would be at an building 500’ from the hot tub, restaurant etc
Good 7.1
Pros: A ski in ski out property. A shuttle that takes you around. Close to the community gondola and market.
Cons: I think during our stay they lacked management oversight. Front desk told us our bags would be brought to our room when our room was ready. When we got our room keys they asked if we need our luggage to to brought to our rooms. I said yes. After two hours waiting for our luggage I decided to go check out what the delay as we needed to get ready for our dinner reservations. Well we ended up grabbing our luggage because we couldn’t wait any longer and was informed no staff member no one put in the request. Our luggage was sitting outside properly tagged. Not sure why internal staff didn’t notice or why the request was not put in at the beginning. There was two opportunities to do so. Other then the above which failed expectation miserably the rooms showed normal wear and tear. I may need to consider other accommodations for my future visits.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location for jumping right on the ski run or a short walk (or shuttle ride) to the gondola. Friendly service. Could not have wanted anything better.
Cons: Can’t think of a thing!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location was wonderful!
Cons: My ONLY complaint (because I didn’t ask!) is our view was of main lodge carport. Would have been nice to have mountain view
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Really great staff. Loved the look and feel of the lodge. Great food and drink selection. Available hot tub. Loved the ski in and ski out.
Cons: Walls are paper thin. Our next door neighbors loved to wake up at 6 am and have loud conversations on speaker phone. Beds not very comfortable.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Beautiful view from the room, comfortable bed, easy walk to the nearby gondola that goes to town, relaxing hot tub and sauna.
Cons: The lower level room didn’t let in a lot of light and the hallway could get a little noisy from other guests and the housekeepers. Complementary breakfast, or a voucher for the restaurant, would have been appreciated.
Poor 1.0
Cons: During our stay a student party took place on the hotel grounds. Neither the pool nor the hottub could be used by other guests. We were quartered in the same building as the students and they celebrated until 5 o'clock in the morning. It was very loud.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: location
Cons: power outage

Good 7.0
Pros: Very good
Cons: The room was too warm and we could not control the thermostat. The outdoor light shines through the window all night and no light proof shades to close at night.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location and we managed to get onsite parking, which is very limited.
Cons: Breakfast was poor in comparison to other places, given the Rate they were charging for room. I.e. no bread, BA gala or toaster. Cakes / muffins were well below average. Only option was cereal, yoghurt, boiled egg but no bread to eat this with, or cake.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff super friendly as was every staff member at resort
Cons: Icy parking— but, hey we came to snowshoe not boogie board.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: The breakfast was limited as was space the the breakfast room. They also use a lot of disposable plates cups and cutlery.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location, free parking, friendly staff with good recommendations, excellent free breakfast in the morning.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The location is near downtown
Cons: There are 6 parking spaces for all the numerous rooms. Parking is on the street and difficult to find. The hotel says it is handicap accessible but to check in you have to go up 8 steps. Breakfast is 3 small tables in the lobby with cereal and a roll.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was perfect for our family of 4 in a Cozy Cabin. We loved the location and the breakfast was great. Staff was super friendly and the room itself was great.
Good 7.0
Cons: Great location, great value. Loud street, and don't get a room above the lobby or at the top or bottom of the stairs due to noise. Still, bring your earplugs and avoid the rooms I note and it's a great value
Good 6.0
Pros: This was just fine for our one-night stay in an otherwise expensive town. The quality of the sheets and towels was excellent, bed comfortable. The minor issue that we had was dealt with quickly and courteously.
Cons: Tiny. No curtains to block the light that is on all night. The TV is directly above the microwave, which is sitting on the mini-fridge. The outlets barely grip whatever you try to plug in. I'm guessing they have more expensive rooms with nicer amenities.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Nothing like the photos. The shower went from boiling hot to freezing, freezing cold in a small space so you couldn't avoid the burns or freezes. Thin walls and we were right under the reception desk so when they were setting up,6am and when they had breakfast starting at 7am you could hear chairs scraping, people talking, if anything was dropped it made a loud bang. No chance of sleeping in after driving 10 hours the day before. The location was great, the staff seemed friendly (only saw them for 2 seconds). But for over $200 a night? Go somewhere else.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: 100 yards from gondola
Cons: there is no elevator for grandma
Good 7.0
Pros: The location was great and house dog was adorable. One staff was super helpful and friendly.
Cons: The coffee wasnt served until 7:30, which for me, is a litlle late. And noise level pretty loud but worth the savings if you dont need the sleep.I travel with my own flat pillow-hint. Overall nice stay.
